We stumbled upon this lovely cafe during a New Year getaway and it was such a wonderful find! The cozy interior, inviting outdoor seating and warm welcome made it so special. The staff were friendly, recommending delicious vegetarian options, and the food was fresh, vibrant and full of flavour—not your usual cafe fare! I accidentally left my bag behind and didn’t realise until we were back at our cabin. When I called, Niv kindly reassured me they had it safe. When we returned the next morning, we were greeted with a smile and such kindness. Independent businesses like this truly put their heart into customer service—it shows! Thank you, Niv! ❤️

Such a friendly spot with very tasty food. We had the quiche and the meat pastry with salad, which was lovely. The apple cake is supper soft and moist and the milkshakes ( chocolate and banana) were full of flavour too. A great place for a light lunch or snack.

Very friendly people. Foods are served with love and attention. The cappucino reminded me of the one in Italy. Foods are fresh, prepared in house or locally sourced. A Must visit.

Found this hidden gem on Regent Street while walking with my partner. Rlly tasty coffee and pastries. Especially the cruffins - hello new favourite thing! Props also to the staff who were very friendly. Had our food to go as there were no free tables (the place is pretty small) but the interior is beautiful. Will be going back and sitting in next time for sure!

Was wandering around town and found this place, which look fairly new, so thought I would grap a coffee and look at the pastries, cakes etc. they had on offer, which all looked lovely. Coffee was nice, but not cheap - £5.50 for 2 very small coffees. What put me off however, was watching a member of staff go and stroke a customers dog twice, around the face and mouth, and then without washing his hands returning to behind the counter to serve customers food!! I will never go here to order food now!

Waves is a true gem for fish and chips enthusiasts. Their consistency is unmatched, and every visit feels like a warm, familiar treat. The batter is perfectly golden and crispy, encasing beautifully flaky fish, while the chips are always cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Pair this with their impeccable service and you have an experience that never disappoints. If you're looking for a spot that serves classic fish and chips done right, Waves is the place to be. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates quality and reliability in every bite.
