Great meal, and bargain for London prices! The enticing aroma drifting into the street proved too much and I had to pop in and get takeout for my wife and I. I was greeted by one of the friendliest chaps in the whole city who quickly served up the food. Getting back to the hotel room and we dived into the meal and it was excellent! The meat curry was tasty with a hint of spice. My wife thinks this is her favourite daal she's ever had and the biriani was a great accompaniment. I'd absolutely return here, should I ever find myself in the area. An all round cracking experience!

I can truthfully say I had an excellent experience ordering a take away at this shop today first of all the gentlemen who served me were very polite, respectful and well mannered also the prices are good you can walk out well fed for under £10 as they have great deals on Curry and rice boxes with a good selection of different meat Currys and a good vegetarian selection I ordered the large lamb curry with vegetable biryani and ate every bit as it was delicious succulent melt in your mouth lamb with a nice mild spice

Not bad and the owner is nice but very small portions for a £12 meal and not as good as a take away place, as the food is microwaved. And take cash, as this place is like all others around here, preferring you pay in cash.

Guy who served us was really nice, he was patient with us and helped us select our dishes, as for the food it is great, theres vegan options they had a variety of meats and spicy levels, great find.

I stopped by when I came to England from Japan. This is a shop with a friendly atmosphere. I ordered chicken masala and ginger beer and both were very tasty! I was able to relieve my stress during the trip and have a great time. The owner was friendly and gave us directions to nearby hotels and stations! This is a nice shop that is friendly to tourists!

PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I visited this place a couple weeks ago, and from the getgo, I regret coming to this place. The customer service was not good, and the owner was not friendly. The food was of very poor quality, and there are some serious hygiene issues. I worry about the personal hygiene of the owner and the potential contamination of food regarding his inability to wash his hands/ wear gloves when handling the food. When the owner wasn’t serving customers, he would be tapping away at his phone constantly before and after serving. The overall attitude of the owner was very unprofessional and careless. One thing I noticed was the food was at room temperature and that he would heat the food in the microwave. I suffered from very bad food poisoning after eating at this place, was rushed to the hospital by an ambulance, and was in A&E all night. Would not recommend at all. The food was not tasty at all and was overpriced for what it was. The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant was not appealing at all and outdated. furthermore I was apprehensive to post this review as the responses from the owner on other reviews seem very unprofessional but posting this to make people aware of my horrible experience. Do not recommend at all!! I can’t believe this place has been running for over 20 years, definitely needs to be checked by food hygiene standards again. - I don't understand why I would fabricate something like this. I forgot the specific date that I visited this establishment, thus I said a couple weeks ago. The use of spoons and tongs doesn't take away from the fact the food wasn't properly reheated and correctly covered(improper food handling). I found your response very unhelpful and dismissive of many other issues I've seen in your establishment. From many other reviews seen under your'restaurant', it's clear to me that you don't care about the health and safety of your customers. Learn how to take criticism and not be so defensive. This is concerning, shocking, and really shows who you are as a person and reflects poorly on your business. I was rushed to the hospital after consuming your food.

The man working was so kind. He chatted with us and remembered us a few days later. Food was very good and a great price. Portions were great for dinner.

This is a fantastic place - love it! I used to go regularly when I lived around the corner. I was delighted to see it still open (14 years later) when I went back there last night. I’ve only ever had the takeaways, but the food is as delicious as ever, and amazing value too. The proprietor is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Huge disappointment. I’ve ordered korma but got totally different curry. I presume they do not know what is korma. Food quality was low. The dishes were extremely oily. There was a thick layer of oil on the top of dishes. I had a heartburn for a few hours after eating. It usually happens when they use low quality oil or ingredients. Do not recommend it.

Had a spicy lamb curry takeout. Was nice meat was soft and portion was good. I believe it’s Punjabi style so some of the below reviews were people did not like maybe are use to Indian style curry, this is more home style which I prefer. Will hopefully visit again.

Little advice for you brother if you want Your business to grow loose that attitude and show some respect when talking to your customers or anyone in that matter.

Been working at the gym next door and never been to this place untill last week, boy have I been missing out the service is very friendly and makes you feel welcome and the food is very traditional home cooked style food! And the price is very good. Can't complain!

I had chicken Tika Meslla with white rice as well as bread. I have tried many Indian restaurants around the world but this is was the worst. The taste is not good and the person who served there where no gloves. It is low quality restaurant.

Very disappointing. The naan bread was stale, the onion baji soggy, and the curry dishes bland. Stay away from the spring rolls!

I expected more given the other reviews. The lamb curry dish was way too plain in taste and could at least have some veggies too.

I've tried many Asian curry joints across London, however none are able to compete with this Restaurant due to its fresh authentic home cooked curry, friendly family atmosphere and 5 star exquisite hospitality. Not to mention this place is a bargain compared to other Curry houses! I would definitely recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed!

What an excellent place to go for a curry. I usually have a little bit of the chickpea curry with some channa dal and both are delicious. The prices are amazing for such lovely food. Customer service from the owner is really friendly, so it's just as nice to sit in as it is to take away. Kilburn is another place being taken over by loads of big chains, which are pricing out an ever dwindling number of independent shops. I therefore highly recommend a visit, to support a really nice local business, which delivers genuinely great value and wonderful food. Huge thumbs up!

A great Takeaway Indian Restaurant with some of the finest Curry I've ever tasted..Chicken, Lamb, Mutton, ranging from mild to extremely hot . And they do a limited range of sweets also to cleanse the pallet , Homemade cooking so very authentic taste, and frequented by many London Radio Dj's ,Very friendly proprietor . I would recommend to anyone.

Little known gem. Great variety of lovely dishes, good prices and friendly owner. Authentic punjabi, I believe - quite unique and recommended.
