cup&cake in Gateshead

Been quite a few times now and tried different items for lunch from the menu, the jacket potatoes are gorgeous, service is always great,lovely lunch every time I'm visiting Gateshead. Great place to go !

This is a great little cafe situated very close to Gateshead metro & bus station.Myself & my mam had jacket potatoes,mine was with cheese savoury.It comes with a great mix of salad (if you want).& some crisps & coleslaw.There was a fab amount of food on the plate,the cheese savoury was delicious & the potato cooked to perfection.There’s a really good selection on the menu of paninis,sandwiches etc.etc.Staff we’re very friendly & I’d highly recommend a visit .

Came here for my lunch with my mother after my grandparents (who used to be regular customers) raved about it. Just unsure why we didn't come sooner! Ordered 2 delicious baguettes, salad and coffees and the prices were incredible. Already excited to return!

Spot on - prices dont take your eyes out. Soup was pleasant enough. The staff/ owners(?) were really friendly too. Tables a bit ropey, general decor better than it looks from the outside. Will return. £4.50 ish. Soup, Pepsi and slice of bread.

Called while in gateshead just for a coffee - but a couple sitting at a nearby table were tucking in to good sized portions of corned beef pie - looked delicious! My coffee was good, hot and cheap.

Our first visit and wont be our last. I had the corned beef and potato pie (of course with mato sauce) a good portion with no frills and very tasty. Good tea and coffee too.

I was very pleased with my visit here. It is a small, welcoming cafe which is clean and pleasant. It is very good for coffee, snacks and casual foods. There is quite an extensive menu of breakfast items, sandwiches, toasties, cakes etc. The coffee was very good and scone excellent. Prices are very reasonable and the welcome is very friendly. I would definitely return here.

Needed convenient simple lunch on our way to the Sage Gateshead and this certainly provided it. All day breakfasts, lots of varieties of sandwich, toastie, panini including local recipes. Plenty of cake/dessert choices too. Pleasant atmosphere and staff who seem to know their regulars. Great prices! Can't believe this place wasn't packed with shoppers on a Saturday lunchtime. Use it!

This is a small family run cafe, all food made to order, a very good selection on menu , breakfast / homemade pies/ toasties/ sandwiches / cakes and a big variety of drinks at a reasonable price

I love this place, it has just recently been taken over and it's ideal for a tea (or coffee) break when shopping. Love the cakes and scones all home made.

Visited here for breakfast with my lad. This coffee shop sells the weakest coffee. It doesn't even provide you with fresh milk just a container full of UHT sachets. I ordered breakfast which was okay but whilst waiting heard the microwave ping many times. Normally go to Heaton for breakfast as there is no shortage of choice. Hopefully this isn't the best gateshead has to offer

My gran Has been going here for a while now, her and her sisters meet up every Saturday here. We went for breakfast today here, first time for me. Lovely little place, friendly staff. Quick service and brill food.

this has been taken over but yet to be desired let see what the new owners come up with on the menu and there is inprovment to the decoration

This little sweet cafe is good choice for any occasions u want as they make cake to make for special occasions & good mannered staff that welcomes you always with a ☺& plenty on the menu and any body's first choice for a bite to eat is here with a great happy welcome from the owners to there customers
