This is fabulous ice cream home made milk from their dairy herd. You can park in a field and eat your ices in there or in the barn. Flavours change and choice of cornett or a tub unbeatable

One of my absolute favourite places. A real local gem and I'd recommend to anyone if they were visiting the area. My motto is '3 scoops or go home!' The ice cream is creamy, perfectly smooth, well flavoured (not in a synthetic fakey way), and there's so much choice that's forever changing (but if you're a die hard for one of the staple flavours like strawberry, mint, chocolate, vanilla etc you'll never be disappointed.) There's seasonal flavours too! The flavour board is usually shared on FB each day and when I look I start planning my cone combo 🤣 my faves are white chocolate, oreo and birthday cake. Cumbrian Cow has both a drive thru and walk-up bit, open weather dependent. The drive thru does get mega busy but the queue moves fast. When the weather is dry the paddock is open where you can park up and annhiliate your cone (or tub) in the car or sit out. There's a loo on site too. We pay approx £11 for 2 triple scoop cones; yes it's not cheap but I paid £4.50 for something FAR inferior from the ice cream van recently! Let's not even start on how they don't make Zappp ice lollies anymore. Please go, get a triple scoop, stuff the diet, follow a formula (my husband's 3 scoops are something chocolate, something fruity and then a wildcard eg. Nutella, Twister and custard cream) or go totally rogue. Eat so much ice cream that you're doing big milky burps in the car afterwards, well worth it.

Only been through the drive through so can't really comment on the atmosphere but the staff are super friendly and lovely and you will never have tasted ice cream like it!! Flavours you never knew existed or would never have thought of

Fantastic family farm, which has diversified into a brilliant ice cream stop. Not only can you stop and get ice cream, but there is also a unique drive-through option. My daughter had seen the farm on Facebook and told me about it so we made a special trip from Carlisle to check it out. Will definitely recommend.

Good idea to have it served directly to the car as a drive through. Ice cream is also good quality. However, the wait was quite long when we went (over 15mins queue) and the got my order wrong which meant another 10 mins waiting for them to bring the correct ice cream. Would recommend if you are in the area, but probably not worth a trip especially for this.

Great flavours on offer, along with a huge range of different cones. Was really busy, but plenty of staff were working, so there wasn't a long wait at all. We travelled over an hour to get here, and it didn't disappoint.

We came up a few times in the past and always came here but wanted to try as many flavours as possible. Specifically Diam. good use of a drive through and just a very chilled atmosphere. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Simple drive in with all the information written on boards along the way. Service was swift, staff great. Waiting time after ordering was instant. The ice creams were just gorgeous, presentation cute, flavours on point. Sitting area lovely. This was my first time to visit the ice cream farm but was really impressed and would recommend.

We went yesterday and obviously they had to do things differently due to covid. However it was very well organised👍 and the ice creams were delicious.😋 I tried my Mams latte and it was the best I'd ever had.😍 I would definitely go back!

Absolutely amazing place to visit , especially if your child has special needs. My grandson has sensory issues and becomes overwhelmed it there is too much stimulation. The way the attraction is set out and spaced could not be more perfect. Grandson had a wonderful afternoon and not a meltdown in sight. Could not see them improving on anything because for us it exceeded our expectations. Will now be visiting pretty regular!!!

Went on Sunday afternoon with my 3 grandchildren to the maze part. And was over charged by the young lady.please be aware as if it was done to me,it could have been done to other people. Tried to ring but to no avail.😪

Great idea having a drive through

Best ice cream I've ever tasted! I had a two scoop waffle cone with one scoop salted caramel fudge and one scoop banana toffee swirl. It was absolutely delicious! I savoured every mouthful. Short waiting time. Only drive through option available at present but still a very short wait. I highly recommend a visit.

Magnificent ice cream! This is such a fabulous place to visit. In these Covid times they’ve turned your visit into a safe experience and made everything drive through. Follow the cones, place your order at the ice cream van window, pay by contactless on the end of a pole and have the ice creams brought to your car window. The waffle cones are really high quality and the ice cream itself is fabulous, rich and creamy. A million miles from anything store bought. I have the up most respect for people that take what they have and make the most of it, and this place has done just that in spades!

A drive through premium ice cream parlour on the outskirts of the stunning Lake District. Yep that’s right!! Situated right in the middle of farmland the signs tempt you in to the agricultural buildings to find the most fantastic range of flavours of delicious ice cream. And to overcome COVID issues they have ingenuously designed a drive through experience so you can still get your fix. This is a hidden gem, get there in summer to get stuck in.

First time visiting Cumbria Cow today and we will definitely be visiting again. Very impressed with covid secure procedures they have in place, worked very well. Also impressed with the allergy labeling. No gluten free cones today but pleased to hear they usually do, as is my daughter, so will be back for one of them. Above all ice cream tasted amazing.

The team have done a great job turning their ice cream experience into a drive thru while we get through COVID-19! Ice cream as awesome as ever!! Highly recommended!!
