Everything nice but a bit short on toppings,will return if toppings improve.

This had potential of being one of the better pizzas but ended up being the saddest pizza I've had in a very long time. I ordered nduja sausage pizza and it had exactly 6 small bits of sausage. Not even spread out. I felt cheated. Never have I ever had a pizza that poor.

The best pizza we have ever eaten, the dough was perfect and the toppings were amazing, the staff were lovely too!

Seemed to be a good decision initially, with a reasonable choice of pizza styles, but the pizzas could have been more tastier and crispier. A bit disappointing.

Paid £30+ for 3 pizzas, totally underwhelmed. We have always had good pizzas from there but each time we visit, the base has remained good but there is Less and less topping. They are skimping on whats on top. Total rip off, you’ve lost our business and we shall never try you again. Greedy owners

Current rating on writing of 4.8 isn't anywhere high enough for the quality of the pizza I just had. Pleasant staff and great tasting cooked to perfection Pizza. Highly recommended.

The best pizza in Tynemouth, in fact the best pizza in the whole toon. Wor lass is Italian and she approves, she said it teleported her back to Napoli for a moment. A moment where she understood everyone’s accent and could smell the Mediterranean air. All nostalgic, it even brought a tear to her eye mainly because she didn’t have to decipher the Geordie accent. This pizza has ignited something deep rooted within her because now all she talks about now is why we should live in Italy. If it wasn’t for crust social, I would have never considered even moving to Italy. Now it’s a reality. You’ll hear me singing: “Tell me ma me ma, I won’t be home for tea for tea, coz we are off to Italy. ITALY! Tell me ma me ma”

Best Neapolitan pizza restaurant around with some of the friendliest staff ever. Honestly blown away by this place 🤯✨

Some of the best pizza I have ever had in the North East. Truly, truly incredible.

Really good pizzas for very reasonable prices. Inside a church converted into a food hall with various small restaurants, bars and shops.

neat atmosphere, yummy food and tiramisu was damn good (wish i got the cheesecake that sounded nice)

I’ve not had better Neapolitan pizza dough in the North East. My test is whether I could eat another pizza directly after. Soft and light with a nice chew. Really good prices (roughly a tenner a pizza). The Salami and Chilli Honey didn’t taste much of honey or chilli and the salami was quite hammy. The diavola special was better.

Loved this place, the venue is amazing, they have a spot inside a former church, with some other bars and cute little shops. The pizza was unreal! I opted for the Nduja, defo up there with some of the best I have ever eaten. Service was super fast and friendly, will absolutely be visiting again in the near future 🍕🙂🍕

Unreal, fresh, super tasty pizzas. Nice to sit inside and get a drink from either there or one of the surrounding venues!

Fantastic, authentic pizzas at the coast. Personal favourite is Nduja with red onion, chilli’s and rocket. Awesome 🙌🏻

Great pizza, very reasonable price in a cool location

Late posting of a visit from September. Shortly after the refurb which has increased the space inside....very cosy and great atmosphere. Some small sharing items are available now; pickles, peppers, salad...so we couldn't say no that! Pizza was perfect as always. Best place for fresh pizza in Tynemouth - no competition.

Had a takeout pizza from Crust and it was excellent - Had pepperoni jalapenos and chilli oil. Once of the nicest pizzas ive had in a long time. As should be expected from the name, the "crust" and undercarriage of the pizza was superb! If im being super critical I would of liked the pepperoni a bit crispier but still fantastic pizza.

Eating in is great. Takeaway/delivery not so. Food freezing, when it was delivered and when phoned, they blamed driver. I get they have no control when it leaves restaurant but it it is still their food. 3 not 4 pieces of burned flatbread with humus and the flat bread was hard as it was cold - due to long delivery time. When phoned, no help - just told to 'bung pizza in the oven'. Not quite sure when paid approx £17 should have to do this!

Easy to order and ready quickly. Delivery driver friendly. Nice pizza with chewy crust, but arrived barley warm.

Great pizza- as always! The best. However, Uber unreliable! First driver disappeared so it was very late, pizza arrived barely warm- I had guessed that it would be so I reheated in a preheated hot oven and that saved it, just! however if I'd ordered a few pizzas this would have been a nightmare. This will put me off ordering delivery on busy weekend night again- however we remain loyal fans of Crust Social.

Ordered a couple of pizzas from here last night and I’ve got to say they were outstanding. We usually go to DiMeos but wanted to try somewhere different for a change, we weren’t disappointed, it was better! absolutely fantastic, we will be back.

Best pizza (and price) at the coast by a distant mile. Better than what I've had in town as well.

i can't belive it's taken me so long to try Crust Social considering I live in Tynemouth. The Neapolitan style pizzas were excellent and washed down with kegged Twobytwo Bewing Snake Eyes pale ale. Good prices, will be back soon.

Fantastic best pizzas ever, beats anything you can find elsewhere I would recommend this to everybody

Ate here before travelling to Naples and it did not disappoint - there are few places in the North East that can replicate the taste of a Neapolitan pizza and Crust Social is definitely one of them. You can opt for a traditional flavour or mix it up with one of their frequently changing specials (I chose the beef shin special and spicy ‘nduja). No bad choices here, dips are great too!

We keep trying other pizza places, but we always end up coming back here - honestly this is just the best. Special shout out for the verdura pizza!

AMAZING!!! visited Saturday with the family this was an accidental visit whilst trying to find another restaurant so happy we found it. Amazing prices, pizza was lush!!! Service was lovely and we even took some cute stickers for the kids. Can't wait to go again!

I don't usually like pizza as a rule, however we found this place when out for a drink... I have to say I was really impressed with the food.... it's good to find a place that does something other than a tomato base... Worth a try

Really excellent pizza at Crust Social in a lovely little quiet and chilled out location. Ended up there twice this weekend as the pizza is so good! Prices are great too so it's perfect for a weekend lunch. Staff all seem lovely too.

We ordered this as our Friday night takeaway. This is definitely a stand out place in Tynemouth even if it is hidden away in the church! We got the margarita, the salami & honey (our fav!) and the prosciutto & rocket pizzas. a All flavours were amazing and when we picked it up the staff were really helpful and friendly. We got a couple of garlic dips too which were a must in my opinion, ideal for those crusts! We will definitely be ordering again from this pleasant pizzeria.

Would strongly recommend is the closest thing to a Neapolitan pizza you can get around Newcastle and is very reasonably priced

good dough, and very good quality of the ingredients. even if it's an "english" pizza, it can be called with that name, differently from many others tried around. the price's very good, too. the place is so nice, as it was a former church. many other spots around it, and it's possible to eat the pizza near their pizzeria as they've a few seats available. if in tynemouth give this place a go, as it's worth the waiting! also they've got ichnusa, an italian beer from Sardinia. suggestion: any pizza + ichnusa, best combo ever !

Tried crust social tonight after hearing good things and it was amazing. Best pizza I have ever had hands down! The carbonara pizza was especially delicious, 10 out of 10. We will defo be going back!
