Amazing little micropub in Alfreton.. went to watch some live music on bank holiday Monday. Regulars very friendly and polite bar staff

Play here with our band Rapture, always a great gig, friendly crowd.

Played there early evening Sunday. Had a blast. A local favourite pub.

Spit and sawdust. allowed us to eat our fish and chips, but has a very poor non-alcoholic selection. So best if you live in the immediate area

OK so this place is not a gastro pub or a place you would take someone on any form of date... But it has charm and great ales on show. If you want a casual pint, possibly while being sung at by the barmaid... In Alfreton you can't go wrong here

Very welcoming, great choice of beers, lager, gin etc. Fabulous that you can take drinks to the Indian restaurant next door. Just remember to return your empty glasses. We're looking forward to a return visit. 🍻

Brilliant pint great little pub and great entertainment

Nice place. Very convenient when I pick up a kebab from the excellent place next door. Small selection of good real ales, and friendly staff. Parking usually okay in adjacent street, good covid-19 precautions at this time.

Fantastic service. Sit at a table and order. As soon as the last drop goes down the lady is there to ask if your ok and need anything else. So polite So Warming and Wow time to Relax and enjoy. BRILLIANT

Great little micro tavern, nice selection of drinks at reasonable prices except for the soft drinks which are massively overpriced. Usually pretty quite and cosy except for Sunday when they have live musicians from 4 till 7 which makes it a great place to be.
