Lovely home cooked food. Friendly staff

Visited for dinner and the quality of the meals were excellent. Service was great at the bar. The pub is very clean and presentable. Great local pub.

First time visiting the cross keys with the family today for Sunday lunch, the food and service was very good, would definitely visit again.

Absolutely amazing food, wonderful service and great atmosphere highly recommend. Compliments to the chef and wonderful bar staff and servers.

As always, food spot on, had to chase staff, know one came to serve us, had to wait 40 minutes. But saying that, they were very busy

We reserved a table here to meet up with friends. We couldn't have chosen a better pub! They were able to accommodate the 8 of us without any problem, and the service was brilliant from ordering a pint at the bar to ordering the food. Not one of us could fault the food it was amazing! Would definitely recommend it, and they also allow Dogs, brilliant

Had a great meal here last night, proper food! Everything was made fresh with good quality ingredients and Piping hot too. The staff were also on the ball and friendly. Will be going again next week.

Excellent Food with a Vibrant team and Affordable prices! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for high quality and affordable food from classic pub dishes to more exotic items. Young man named Rowan who waited our table was incredibly polite and friendly. The food (steak) came out quickly, perfectly cooked and presented. Cannot stress enough what a brilliant dinner and overall experience I've had and would advise others to give it a try whether for lunch or dinner as I definitely will be returning.

The first time I have been here and it struck me as a very nice pub with bags of atmosphere. On a more personal note anywhere that can make a rum and black without asking what one is and automatically assumes you don't want ice deserves bonus points.

My closest local. Always pop by for a pint. Great seating in garden. Dog friendly.( Big plus ) Decent atmosphere and friendly staff. Not the cheapest unfortunately. But that don't stop us popping by for one.

Great Sunday dinner and friendly staff

A lovely, traditional village pub with very friendly and helpful staff. It has a great menu and a large garden which is perfect for children including covered areas. Recommended.

What a lovely friendly pub, staff are fantastic nothing is too much trouble, open fire in the winter months makes this pub inviting and cosy, food is amazing also.

Traditional style Local pub, a good atmosphere on arrival, a good selection of real ale which i was allowed to taste before buying,, good food...4 empty plates from us, Malaysian curry done with either chicken, King prawn or vegan all tasting gr8....plus the steak and Ale pie was delicious. A note to add that doesn't retract from the quality but beware if someone is paying for you as a treat, the food and drinks are bought and paid for separately as they are 2 different businesses.

Friendly staff, nice beer, good pub grub. Pizzas a speciality and worth a try. We normally go in with our basset on quiet days for food. A nice treat.

Had a really delicious lunch, Superfood salad with blackened salmon plus chocolate brownie for dessert both of which were perfect. Sat in the garden, under cover and it was really pleasant. The staff are lovely, very friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

The best traditional pub in the village (of many). Superbly kept beers. Excellent food and very happy and professional bar staff and kitchen staff. A joy to enter.

Polite staff. Very welcoming. Food was great. Not cheap everyday grills you get from a pub chain. All freshly prepared.. I upgraded my chips to posh chips for an extra £1... they put truffle oil and a sprinkle of pamarsn on top.. Will go back ...definitely recommended.

Had a family Christmas meal here yesterday. Table for 10. Great menu choice, delicious food. Brilliant service right from the initial enquiry about booking the table to the end of our lovely evening. Thank you to the Chef and all staff . After our meal we were able to enjoy the friendly atmospheric bar areas sitting by the log fires. A great venue for Burbage
