Quite basic place but still enjoy it

Such a beautiful quaint little Pub in the heart of Conisbrough that’s steeped in History. The food is incredible and Landlady Becky is well known for her amazing buffets and Sunday lunches, but the menu has a wide range of beautiful hot and cold food. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area

This place was just about booked up for those who made a reservation. But this pub still found a table for two. Food tasty as well as filling.

Friendly, welcoming pub. The caffreys beer is good and the chips we shared delicious. Meals reasonable priced and looked good value.

A nice pub with friendly bar person but customers were smoking drugs outside which put me off a bit. Empty glasses seemed to not be cleared away very quickly although the pub looked clean and well presented. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area and looking for a locals pub.

One of the best places I've ever ordered from. Wide range of meals to choose from daily including diet friendly options (that aren't just plain salad like other places I've tried). Would highly recommend

An oldy, Worldy type of drinking establishment with a variety of beers and lagers to choose from. Plenty of seating available in both rooms of the pub and they do a lovely carvery on Sunday with a great choice of 3 meats and a varied selection of vegetables with Yorkshire puds and stuffing if you require. Friendly hosts and staff, well worth a visit.

Just had a really good lunch. Excellent value for money and very tasty. Could not fault it and can't wait to eat there at lunch time again. Had quite a few Sunday carverys and they are to die for. Love the place ten out of ten.

The woman who runs it Becky is probably the rudest person I’ve ever come across in my life. Not sure how she’s even got any custom with an attitude like that. Honestly a horrible woman. Puts me and all my friends off going there rather go any other place

Got to be the best carvery in the area by a mile. A lovely old pub, full of character, good beer, friendly staff and a Sunday dinner to die for. What's not to love!

Bought two dinners today one for tomorrow, always tasty and tender meat.

Historic little pub, with a lovely atmosphere. A decent bar with 2 Sam Smith's on tap, the down side is no real ales, for such a lovely place with fantastic beer garden, you would expect traditional ales and pub food. Defiantly worth a visit if walking round Conisborough castle ,and up to the beautiful church.

We.go.every Sunday for our Sunday dinner we would not miss it for the world as very friendly staff and allways smiling and allways very helpful and complements to the chief for the lovely dinners cos Cromwell is simple the best happy smiling guys x

Wife and I tried a carvery today "delivered". We both agree it was excellent. Good portions, great value and prompt delivery. We will definitely try it again
