Nice place to eat, with tasty food

Never a bad meal. I've been eating from taste Peru for years and they've never disappointed with what they serve. Recently had the steak fires with chimichurri. Absolutely to die for. Since discovering Peruvian cuisine I have now tried several other restaurants with Peruvian cuisine and this is easily the greatest. Also while your their, try inca kola. There's nothing quite like it

Very nice food, Highly recommend the Pulled Beef Spicy Crunchwrap with Paprika Fries, As a Peruvian, Can confirm it's the best in the North that i have tried. Read one of the recent reviews before trying it and can confirm that the negative ones are rather false. Very Friendly guy behind the bar and gave plenty of information about the venue etc etc.

Honestly this is the worst Peruvian restaurant existing in the north and there aren't Peruvian restaurants so you can easily get scammed by them; the only Peruvian thing is the Inka Cola that I had, I don't want to help them but they are close to international markets in walking distance, if they cannot buy the ingredients online or somewhere else. Firstly this place is tiny, they don't serve in plates, they serve everything in a bowl, wrong, you can't eat rice in a bowl with fork unless you are given a spoon!, ridiculous, I ordered Lomo Saltado or Stir fried beef, well it was not beef, they fried pork, they didn't use Ajinomoto: a main seasoning that we use in all the dishes, they served Huancaina sauce, well it wasn't, they didn't use yellow chili, not even the right cheese!. It was horrible. I wanted Pisco Sour and the bartender was minor and couldn't prepare it.... Horrible!

What a little find in South Yorkshire, an array of South American food & drink. The choice of Jarritos (Mexican Soda) plus Peruvian dishes to accompany is great. Service on top is great - Truly looking forward to returning to try the rest of the menu. Easily recommend to the adventurous as I'm aware often people shy from spice/flavour but shouldn't here as it truly enhances the pallet.

Received the wrong item which i told her i was allergic to and didn’t even consider changing it and then told me i ordered that which i didn’t , bad customer service don’t go here

Excellent meal prepared quickly , gorgeous beef cooked beautifully,tender and gently spiced, served with great rice and vegetables ,I declined to include the chips but still a good healthy serving £12 . My friend had the beef with noodles and vegetables and she thoroughly enjoyed her meal . Friendly staff who were happy to chat and made recommendations we also tried 4 different flavours in the Inka drinks,lime,strawberry,gauva,melon all are refreshing and not too sweet . £3.60 per bottle

An absolute gem, nestled in the heart of Doncaster's trendy Wool Market. The food is so good, freshly cooked and delicious. We had the Rumba Rice with grilled chicken, the chicken was so tender you could cut a piece in half with the edge of a plastic fork. We also tried the Los Saltado, featuring melt in the mouth beef and a sauce I would love the recipe for. Well worth a visit.

Interesting they don't just serve Peruvian food, but also Brazilian, Chilean, Argentinian, and Uruguayan. Plus a special private dining of Uruguayan food/culture apparently.

Tried it on a whim. Really personal service, I think from the bloke who ran it. Top notch for Gluten Free food in Doncaster. Prices were good, food was really nice. Chatting to the bloke behind the counter they are looking to expand their range or drinks to have more gluten free drinks Also it was really busy which you can see from the photo which is always a good sign. Will definitely return

Visited as a couple last Saturday afternoon. Food was excellent. I had the chicken noodle dish and my partner had the steak dish which came with rice and chips. We shared a portion of halloumi fries and sweet chilli sauce. Everything was freshly cooked and so very tasty

Very good food. I ordered chilli con carne nachos with chips and a Coronq for £18.50. The chilli nachos were tasty, the chips were hot and crispy. I enjoyed my meal and I would visit again. The only reason I didn’t rate 5 stars was: (a) the portion of chilli was quite small and (b) the chilli was luke warm.

Ordered the crunch wrap with little knowledge of what they looked like or their contents and I can honestly say we were blown away. The quality of the food was outstanding. The mild chicken Crunchwrap was flavoursome, we could possibly have gone for spicy but the mild was fantastic. At £8.50 and served with paprika tortilla chips, it was a filling meal at a reasonable price!

My review is based on Taste Peru in Sheffield Plate, Orchard Square ( they aren't on TripAdvisor but felt they deserved my review!) Quite simply, delicious food in a great setting. I had Quesadilla which was served with seasoned fries and dips. Freshly made, hot and super tasty! Really friendly server who was possibly new but really lovely and helpful! Looking forward to going back to try something else from the menu!

A wonderful setting in the old Wool Market which has been converted into a food court and entertainment space. A warm welcome and delicious food, Worth venturing out of Frenchgate to find. This was my second visit and I will return soon!

Best food in Doncaster by far can not to head back there just for this place

Came to Doncaster today had heard about the wool market food court we decided on Taste Peru and wasn’t disappointed I ordered Lomo Saltado and my wife ordered chicken Rumba Skewers both delicious

Rubbery beef, very little veg, bland, only flavour I could taste was soy sauce. Really disappointing

I visited here for the first time. Received a great welcome and was provided with a bit of information about the food to help select something from the menu. I chose the Lomo Saltado. The lady serving swapped the chips for salad at my request and it was fantastic, piping hot, tasty and I enjoyed it so much that I returned the next day. I will be sure to return again in the future and try some of the other dishes. Highly recommended!

Had 4 dishes Halloumi Wrap and fries Chicken quasasidillas (unbelievable) Halloumi and sweet chilli sauce (fab) The nachos with chilli con carne and cheese ( perfect)

Delicious. Had a vegetarian Rumba Quesadilla (spicey). Absolutely wonderful.

After searching for a Peruvian restaurant in Yorkshire for 7 years I have finally found this hidden gem. Lomo Saltado is authentic and tastes just like being in the heart of Lima. Beautifully smooth Pisco Sour like it was made in Pisco itself. I would recommend Taste Peru to literally everyone who craves Peruvian cuisine

Dined here whilst having a beer in the new wool market complex , theres a great choice of food and drink options , thought we would try something different , and pleasantly surprised. Great value , good sized portions and quick service . defintiely worth a visit

We’ve been three times now and every time it has been brilliant. I tried the yucca fries yesterday too, which I didn’t think I’d enjoy but wanted to try... they will be ordered every time from now, as they were gorgeous. Meals have always been cooked to order so you know you’re getting freshly made food. It’s of flavour and generous portion sizes. Would definitely recommend.
