Crocodile Sandwich and Coffee Bar in Norwich

We chanced upon this ,after a disappointing experience at an 'artisan ' cafe where everything was preprepared. The choice here is mind blowing,because they make what you want . The staff were really pleasant , and we planned to go the following day for breakfast but unfortunately that didn't work out. We will seek this out when in Norwich again.

Visited for drinks whilst walking around Norwich. The drinks were good my husband had a delicious looking brownie which he said was excellant. The extensive menu of sandwiches looked very interesting. We will most definently return to try some.

While on holiday in Norwich, popped in to get some sandwiches to take with us on a day out. Went for ham salad, it was delicious, extremely filling, the ham was so tasty and lean. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

This is a really good place to get a good value bacon bap or a sandwich with something a bit different to the run of the mill kind of places. Great value for a lunch on the go...

A fantastic cafe, great location, friendly staff and a simply awesome selection of sandwiches and jacket potatoes. If you are looking for a take away or eat in, lunchtime sandwich bar this is the place to visit. A variety of breads, baps, baguettes, paninis and jacket potatoes coupled with a wide range of fillings - all made fresh to order. My sandwich was delicious, fresh and well presented. The cakes looked great too.

Whilst in the Tombland district of Norwich, we decided to visit Crocodile for a bacon sandwich. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The Crocodile was very clean and I can recommend it.

Small it might be but freshly prepared snack food and friendly attentive staff ensure that every customer enjoys a well earned break from shopping or sight-seeing.Ideally situated opposite the Cathedral,the Crocodile caters for everyone.

Love this place and use it 3/4 times a week, always find staff helpful and friendly and we'll worth waiting when they are busy but I try to head in before the lunchtime rush. I also have to treat myself to a cake from time to time as they are delicious! My work uses them as well for Sandwich platters and they are always fresh and very well presented.

I have never been somewhere with such unhappy looking staff. Trying to have any type of conversation with anyone who works in this sandwich shop is like trying to get blood out of a stone. Zero personality and zero taste in the food. Don't waste your money.

We use this for work and they are fantastic! The service is deightful, friendly and efficient. The sandwiches/wraps/rolls etc are second to none in Norwich and as for their soup - you can feel the nutrients with every sip! I have recommended so many people here it is a wonder they do not expand soon. Oh... and try the Chocolate Orange cupcakes!

I've been coming to this sandwich bar for 25 years on a regular basis - once a month - and have never had a bad one yet. The staff are friendly, efficient and provide a simply huge bap! Don't go anywhere else in Norwich - Crocodile is the one.

There's a good range of choices and self making sandwiches or homemade sausage rolls etc. However, for the 4/5 times I've been nothing had tasted amazing and I know that I could get something of better quality for the same price further into the city.

You can never go wrong getting your lunch from here. From the soups to the wraps and the cakes everything is delicious. Not sure where they get their bread from but it is so moist and fresh. The soups are homemade and almost longing for winter for.

Good food, friendly staff (who are good at banter too), quick, efficient. Everything you want from a food place at lunch. I've tried a lot of places in Norwich and this is my go to.

Me and my family were enjoying a crossword while one of us was waiting for a bagel. The grumpy staff one kicked us out into the pouring rain even though other than us the place was empty.

This little cafe was spotlessly clean, and produced fresh, healthy food options. The sandwiches were made exactly to our specifications and the food was really delicious. This is not a pretentious place with a lot of seating, but it is a warm, friendly spot to get the kind of food you might make at home -- but here, you don't do the making! The servers were also extremely friendly -- made our day!
