Nice place around London to get dosa. Dosa could be crispier, but the filling, chutneys and sambal were delicious. Mixed veg uttapam was delicious too.

Great food, lovely service and really nice vibe. Visited for lunch with family and we were very well looked after.

Anish and Jandi were especially helpful and provided a good service. I will be visiting again.

Was struggling to find somewhere to eat on a busy Saturday and stumbled across this restaurant. Great friendly service and atmosphere. Really enjoyed it. Good food at a very reasonable price.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying ghee dosa and nilgiri dosa, and I must say, they were absolutely delicious! The ghee dosa was perfectly crispy and rich in flavor, while the nilgiri dosa had a delightful herbal taste that was refreshing. What truly made the experience memorable was the outstanding service from our server, Nikitha. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. I highly recommend trying these dosas, and if you get the chance, ask for Nikitha—she really enhances the dining experience!

What a delightful experience. The staff was so lovely, especially the young lady who collected all our empty plates with a smile 😊 The food was probably the most authentic tasting food I’ve had in a very long time. Only suggestion is regular checks on the toilets and maintenance. Everything else was lovely!

Nikita was friendly and provided great service to me. Food is great as always and atmosphere is very pleasant.

We always visit this place and has good customer service and food especially their dosas and chutneys. Nikitha is always very nice and lovely and really appreciate her customer service and enjoy talking to her. Looking forward to our next visits. Highly recommend the place if you want to enjoy a South Indian breakfast/lunch/dinner.

The service was very poor. Cutlery was dirty, not enough drinking cups for water and we had to keep making the same request. The starters were poor, but by comparison, the mains were very good. I wouldn't return. I suspect this place is busy as there are so few Indian Vegetarian restaurants in Watford.

We been at 10:28 in the store and the guy said breakfast deal is finished at 10:30 , what does it mean if you have offers till 10:30 you should serve will not visit again

Really bad service. Food too spicy without stating on the menu waiters don’t even clarify. Spoke to the manager who didn’t really care. Avoid at all costs. Bad service bad food. Don’t waste your time.

Got terrible food poisoning from the dossa. Chutneys and daal stale and dossa cold. Potato filling definitely made days ago and served cold. Mogo was yellow and hard. Definitely old. Never again. I suffered a week with cramps, vomiting and diarrhoea...steer away ...you need to be shut down.

Since we moved to watford, me and my sister has been coming to this place frequently. The service is amazing as well as the food. Especially Nikita ❤️ She is an amazing server, she kept on checking on us. She always has a smile on her face.

I had an amazing experience at Crispy Dosa yesterday! I tried the Bombay Thali and it was absolutely delicious. The variety and flavors in each dish were spot on. Our server, Nikita, provided excellent service, making sure we had everything we needed and were satisfied with our meal. Highly recommend this place for authentic and tasty Indian cuisine!

Food came out freezing cold... and I mean freezing, which ment it was obviously remade and just reheated out of the fridge, when I complained and asked for something else they said I couldn't change and had to wait for it to be microwaved while my wife ate her food, terrible customer service.

Very worst. I never expect this from crispy dosa. Urad vada is tasting bitter maybe its made so long before i think, moreover that idly is not in white colour it looks ivery colour, that may due to the rice is not cIeaned properly i think. I am missing the original idly flavours.

Overly rude people no hospitality at all whatsoever. They dont even know english. No smile nothing staff making faces . Even guy at the counter was so rude while taking the payment. Dont go there

I do believe that in any business a welcoming and greetings should be there , today I visited to the place in the morning with my friends 8:30 am as they used to start a breakfast by 9 , however they changed it 10 but I been not aware of it ,and went there and waited almost 30 min , and some one came out of the store and said you can go in and by the time I reached to the door one Asian thin men with glasses and long hair stopped me there with rudely behaviour and he breach my peace in the morning by rude welcome and I felt he didn’t even think of maintaining dignity of the costumer as he sent us out and closed door on our face , I would say this a ridiculous experience of my life . Even he was aware that we used to be a regular costumer of them

I recently visited Crispy Dosa Restaurant (Vegetarian/Indian) for lunch and was thoroughly impressed. The food holds true to authentic South Indian flavors. I ordered the Parotta and Mumbai Thali, and both were exceptional. The taste was rich and satisfying, and the vegetarian biryani was one of the best I've had in and around London. I visited sunday at 8:30 but they didn't have sambar which is ironic for a place called Crispy Dosa. They didn't have other bits which I wanted to order such as Choley Bhatura or Manchurian🤦. In all honesty, I have visited this place before and they got good food.

We ate here on the 9/6/24 and it was a terrible experience. As soon as we arrived (around 9pm) and asked for a table the waitress rolled her eyes at us as if we were inconveniencing her! She was the slightly shorter one of the 2 working that day, the other one was nice. She then gave us 1 menu between 5 people?! There were flies/mosquitos ALL OVER us. All the mysore masala dosas were soggy! The fact the restaurant is called "crispy" dosa is truly ironic. The indo-chinese food was okay. Would not eat here again.

Miserable staff. Poor service. Just terrible. Good decor though. When you go specially somewhere for a dosa, you expect some decorum, especially with the overpriced approach Crispy Dosa has now taken. This place used to be so reasonable when in Greenford. But to serve a soggy Mysore Masala dosa with the sambar dumped on top and with zero care to just slap the thali on the table is pathetic. It's called Crispy Dosa, and it got sent back as it looked like the sambar had vomited over the dosa. And then, because of the way the staff reacted to my surprise of the delivery, I actually thanked them but asked not to be sent a replacement. Separately, think it's an absolute mockery to charge customers £7 for a falooda. To compound the whole terrible experience they actually tried charging me for a dosa I didn't even have. And They don't give service charge to the staff. It's just a terrible place. I've been to the Harrow one a few times, too, and not really noticed how overpriced it's become. This whole experience and the overpriced approach...I'll pass and go Saravana Bhavan

Ordered dry baby corn manchuria but they brought wet sauce baby corn manchuria , ordered veg noodles take away which is 7.99£ and quantity is not even half box like seriously?? No spice, no taste nothing worst experience

I recently visited this restaurant and had a delightful experience. The food was absolutely lovely, with a wide range of delicious options to choose from. My family came in from Leeds and were looking forward to have some dosas. We all enjoyed food here. Lovely fusion starters. My vote for chilly idli and paneer 65. Fusion dosa manchurian dosa was also a new taste for us. Will be coming back for more.

Too expensive for food quality. It’s located at the centre of Watford Town Centre and right front of the mall. Seems quite busy as there’s no other choice. Staff were good and helpful though Weekend it was busy. They have generous seating places. Bit disappointed with food quality. Ordered plain dosa to try for first time and if liked I was planning to order more other dishes but it was not authentic. The chutneys tasted like they were old. Sambar was very bald in taste. I didn’t order any further even though I was hungry. There’s much room for improvement if they take it seriously.

Ordered chole bhature came like puri. I don't know if they have seen real chole bhature all the dishes I ordered, the quantity was soo small compared to the price.I ordered bombay thali the panner fry they gave you will be shocked to see. I think the restaurant is just for non indian people so that they don't know real indian foods so make money out of it.. I have been to crispy dosa Milton keynes way too better.

My new favourite place. Thought I would give this place a try on a recommendation, so I came for lunch. The food was outstanding, so much flavour. Staff were really friendly. I even got a takeout to have for dinner that evening. The mushroom manchurian dosa and the onion masala dosa. So much flavour. Not expensive either. Looking forward to coming back

I recently dined here and found the experience to be average overall. We usually have a very good experience at the restaurant, their food is very good. However on our most recent visit we were disturbed by the amount of fruit flies were flying around our table and our food. There were so many to the point they were all over our food and we had to constantly wave them away. We brought this up to the manager and staff but they said there is nothing they can do, yet they still seat people amongst the thousands of flies! Just a heads up. May be a problem in the summer only.

Only took away stars for the lack of service otherwise the restaurant was nice, we enjoyed the south Indian music and the food was amazing! The manager who took our order was really nice and recommended good options and the right quantity. However the rest of the staff needed to be constantly asked for basic cutlery and glasses for water. They kept bringing one spoon and we were 5 people so it was a bit of a mission and had to request tissues multiple times. They forgot one of the mains and didn't bring it until we asked for it twice and had finished the rest of the food and almost cancelled it.

Went for the first time today for dinner. I tripped over a raised flooring bridge when being seated and a child fell on the floor after tripping on the same raised flooring. A fire alarm went off multiple times during our dinner that was so irritating we were tempted to leave before we got our food. We found the food acceptable but nothing special that we would return.

Shocking! We come here very often and usually food is good. But this time we were shocked at how bad the food was. Ordered paneer tikka (our usual) the first time it was cold and chewy. Second time around a little better but still terrible. Pani puri was terrible too. No taste. Honestly I’m shocked how bad the food was. Will not be returning for sure.

Unfortunately the place didn't live upto my expectations after all the recommendations. Firstly, parking in the area in the evening is tight with all the restaurants there. The idly manchurian was very tasty and highly recommended. The manchurian mushrooms in the dosa were soggy and ruined the dish. The other dosas and all the condiments lacked flavours like it should. The service was okay. Main course were served before we finished our starters. Some drinks arrived much later than the starters. The serving of the dish was not as requested.

We ordered bombay and madras thali from Uber eats. Only paneer was good, most of the curries were stale. Would never recommend and hygiene is a very big concern. Most of the food went to the bin.

Disappointed with the level of customer service. Lied and said all tables are reserved when asked for bigger table during time when restaurant was almost empty in afternoon. When refused and walking out suddenly bigger table got available. Why to lie and say tables are reserved when clearly its not reserved

Been here a few times. Food is very average. Location is the only thing going for them. Staff need training because I’ve had poor service on multiple visits with varied wait staff. The waitress on this occasion was well mannered but had no idea how to talk to customers or how to do her job.
