We had a wonderful experience at Crispy Dosa in Watford. Janviben was very attentive, taking our order and serving our food. I want to commend Janviben for her attention to detail in ensuring that my Dosa, curry, and all sambhar were prepared in accordance with Jain dietary restrictions.

Food is full of flavours, from chutneys to sambhar and everything is super delicious. The servers are attentive and polite. Special mention the uttapam was cooked to perfection, it was not raw from the centre as you may find at some places. Thanks much for delicious food

Food was amazing, we ordered masala dosa, chole bhature, gulab jamun and tea. Everything was delicious and made us feel like we are eating in India. Crispy dosa are having good staffs, cooperative and helpful. I met one of the staff named Sanskriti, she was very humble and polite and made our visit worth full.

I recently visited Crispy Dosa to satisfy my craving for South Indian food, and it exceeded all expectations! The dishes were delicious and authentic. Special thanks to Sanskriti, who made my experience even better with her warm and attentive service. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the amazing staff!

They provide good vegetarian options, including South Indian dishes, but the wait time can be quite long, and you may have to wait even longer for your order to arrive.

Second visit on 5/10/2024 - no improvement on dosa and vada . Dosa was cold and masala was hot 🙁vada the batter was over fermented .. I think they are better in other dishes but not on ethnic South Indian dishes .. £29.98 for poor quality Below review from 2 yrs ago I’m amazed to see 4.5 rating. Being born and bought up in south india, I don’t think the food tastes exactly the same. I had two encounters when I visited once they served coffee which was pre-prepared(just heated and given) when I pointed it out, they give me freshly made one. Second incident the dosa was same(pre prepared) dosa was not crispy, was a lily soggy, but the masala inside was so hot. I think they need to really work the quality side and recipes. This is best for North Indians, who don’t know the real taste of sambhar, chutney and real filter coffee.

We recently visited Crispy Dosa in Watford and had an excellent experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious. Despite it being a busy Sunday lunchtime, we were fortunate to be seated right away. The restaurant is spotless, well-maintained, and offers a comfortable dining atmosphere. The dishes are reasonably priced, providing great value for money. Additionally, there are plenty of paid parking spaces nearby. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic South Indian vegetarian cuisine.

I just visited Crispy Dosa and had the vada puri along with the chef special gobi Manchurian dosa. Both dishes were flavorful and unique totally loved it

When I visited first I was unsure but the moment I tasted the food I just fell in love with the place, and the people. Everything was fantastic. It is the best food I have tasted in london. Everything had its own special perfect taste and flavour and then I decided to celebrate my first marriage anniversary here and I will always remember the beautiful day. The staff is so sweet and friendly and they all just made my day a most wonderful memory.

Place seems to have gone downhill already. My dosa had grit in it and when I complained I was told some of the flour must not have mixed properly. There was also a lot of fruit flies buzzing around inside the restaurant which indicated lack of hygiene. Hand dryer inside the restaurant also spoiled the ambience.

Had dosa,badam halva and chai,sansriti was very sweet to serve us with a smile and the food was aammmmaaazzing

Crispy Dosa, One of my favourite restaurant in Watford. Mostly, I used to order Bhatura and paneer butter masala which is really delicious. Staff whoever is working there is so friendly especially Aneesh. Food serving is excellent and the quality of food is amazing. The Interior space is unique and attractive.

We went there for lunch an I found flying bug in my drink I tell them they changed the drink but again I found another flying bug on Ice that I order I show them they told me that happens because of masala and give me rubbish excuses even they told me that this is not their fault I mean really!!!! Didn’t expect the answer that it’s happens they are not responsible!! If you are not taking responsibility what you serve that who take it ??

We found Crispy Dosa restaurant via Google on our stay in Watford. Have to say one of the best places we have had South Indian food in the UK. As the name goes, the Dosa was Crispy and delicious. We also returned the morning after again for the breakfast buffet and it was lovely, topped by the awesome Masala Tea. Special thanks to the staff Anish, Janvi and Abi. They were extremely welcoming, polite and professional. I will highly recommend Crispy Dosa to anyone visiting Watford! :)

The ghee dosa was perfectly crispy and rich in flavor, while the nilgiri dosa had a delightful herbal taste that was refreshing. What truly made the experience memorable was the outstanding service from our server, Nikitha. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. I highly recommend trying these dosas, and if you get the chance, ask for Nikitha—she really enhances the dining experience!

What a delightful experience. The staff was so lovely, especially the young lady who collected all our empty plates with a smile 😊 The food was probably the most authentic tasting food I’ve had in a very long time. Only suggestion is regular checks on the toilets and maintenance. Everything else was lovely!

We always visit this place and has good customer service and food especially their dosas and chutneys. Nikitha is always very nice and lovely and really appreciate her customer service and enjoy talking to her. Looking forward to our next visits. Highly recommend the place if you want to enjoy a South Indian breakfast/lunch/dinner.

The service was very poor. Cutlery was dirty, not enough drinking cups for water and we had to keep making the same request. The starters were poor, but by comparison, the mains were very good. I wouldn't return. I suspect this place is busy as there are so few Indian Vegetarian restaurants in Watford.
