We travel 30 mins to collect this meat box very friendly staff makes you feel at home we collect it regular the donner meat is really nice chips always fresh and it’s a lot for your money worth the travel to get it worth every penny it’s a full munch box with chicken tikka best donner meat around and kept warm until we get home Josh your best customer

We were looking for local munch boxes in Clacton and couldnt find any but came across Crazy Chef in Colchester.. although it's half an hour drive each way, it's worth it.. the meat is very good quality and the food is very tasty. The staff are very friendly too. We've been back quite a few times now and It's also still hot by the time we get home. Definitely worth a try 💚

First time eating here, had a chicken tikka kebab, they cook everything from fresh and the food was just incredible, even the presentation of it for a kebab was amazing, highly recommend if you haven’t tried this place out please do!

Something for all the family. Quality fish and chips ( you have to try the special salt), loaded pizza's, a whole array of really well made kebabs and wraps, all served with a smile and warm welcome. Crazy Chef is always busy because it's always good. Try the chicken tikka wrap.

Nigel and his team are brilliant. I have been going to Crazy Chef since Nigel has been there which has been 2-3 years and the quality of the service and the standard of the food has always been first class. Lydia is so friendly and such a hard worker and Alex On the grill cooks the meat to perfection. If you have never tried Crazy chef please give them a try and I promise you will never be disappointed!!! Thanks Lee

Very nice welcoming staff, the place is very clean, on ordering your food, they always offer a good hand of chips in a rap of paper, while your order is being cooked in front of you fresh , they was fast organised. The chips were nice & fluffy, the cod was lovely and fresh & moist, cooked well. the rock-eel was melt in your mouth & flavour full , a all around great experience, I will definitely be back.. 10/10

Absolutely brilliant, the food was great and the customer service impeccable. Offered a bag of chips to eat whilst waiting for our food to be prepared, the staff are so friendly, and the chicken tikka shish was unreal.

Was told by a friend of mine about this place and said get the Chef special, it was everything and more. When I arrived there was people inside and outside, waiting for food or to order, I do think that speaks for itself. Thank you from a satisfied customer.

Friendly, great food, large chips portion could have been bigger but we get that things are hard right now so understood :) Really good service, even give you a tiny bag of chips to keep you going if you have to wait for something that's made fresh to order (which lots of stuff is). Definitely recommended!

Just treated myself to a naughty midweek mixed kebab from these guys ..... That was the nicest kebab I have ever eaten !!!! Period. And I'm a food loving fatty but guys you just knocked it out of the park.

First time having pizza’s at Crazy Chef. All i can say is wow.. best pizza base, cooked perfectly, cheese was amazing toppings were lovely. No more Dominos for me. Great price also, and served with a smile. All staff are so friendly. Couldn’t recommend enough

Fantastic place for food! The smell of fish and chips drew me in but I have into temptation for the pizza, which was delicious. Customer service was spot on. Makes the whole difference. I was offered a small serving of spicy chips while I waited and they were lovely. I was allowed to bring my dog in at the door of the shop so he didn't have to wait in the car. Really friendly, lovely people serving scrumptious food. Thank you 😊

GLEAMING!! These guys know how to cook and serve a kebab 100 percent. I have tried various items from the menu and I have to say that it it served to perfection every time. JJ and Nigel work above and beyond to meet the needs and expectations of the customers and this is a MUST GOt to kebab shop. The food is QUALITY and extremely nice . Portions are huge and it is a excellent value for money. I am.a huge fan of Turkish/Kurdish kebab shops and eat at least 3 or 4 weekly and I cant rave about this place enough! The customer service is brilliant as well. Nice one guys 😊

First time I've been to these guys, wish I'd found them when I first moved to the area, but after 3 years of disappointments with various others, finally struck gold. Fresh salad, not over dressed, good quality, well cooked meat, great chips and a chilli sauce that bites but has a slightly fruity (tomato) depth. We will most definitely be back, thanks guys and girl, for taking colchester takeaways to a level they should be 😀👌

This takeaway is second to none in Colchester, it's so good i don't really want to share the knowledge with others in case the queue gets too long! Fantastic service, best chips in Colchester, fantastic fish and amazing Chicken Shish kebabs. They even give you mini sample of chips while you wait.

Every time I walk in I feel incredibly welcomed. Good humoured staff. When I leave I can't wait to get home and and tuck in to the best food in Colchester. If you haven't tried it try it. .. I believe these guys and girls deserve all the luck in the world. Truly great people.

Had a donner and chips, salad very fresh and crisp. Unfortunately the chilli sauce tasted like chilli bolognase sauce and came with chip shop chips which isn't to my preference. Although good chip shop chips if having fish or sausage
