Not the greatest kebab But due to how busy they were, this is understandable.

Excellent service and food is delicious.The staff are really friendly and welcoming. This is the best indian food in County Durham without a doubt.

The BEST Indian take away. Book your food in advance as this place is popular because the food is that awesome. Never had a bad meal, get a takeaway from here weekly, staff are always proper friendly and the food is consistently amazing. They do an amazing chicken tikka and korma and the onion bhajis are the best I’ve ever eaten. Parking is an absolute pain but it’s worth it for the food. My favourite takeaway for sure. 👌

Always busy , always fresh . Has sorted me out with my really awkward picky tastes . Gent on the desk always a legend . Highly reccomended. Always smells amazing when we drive past everyday.

The food is to die for, so full of flavour and very tasty! we have had ordered a few times now after being recommended by a work colleague and now don't go anywhere else for our Indian Takeaway we usually variety of items from the menu and not had a bad meal yet! Food is collection only also only take cash but it is definitely worth the collection parking can be a bit awkward sometimes but usually able to get parked on the front street (i usually order Sundays so all local businesses are closed) and walk up. When the food is prepared it's steaming hot (still very hot by time I get back to spennymoor) and packaged up great, the prices are also very reasonable! Would definitely recommend Coxhoe Corner with out a doubt.

Fabulous food quite unexpected as the place looks quite stark and dull. 5 star hygeine rating always my first priority but this is best induan food we've had. Recommend the meat thali. Only problem is..book ahead because they are always very busy and booked up before it even opens. Also parking is tricky

WOW ! Now I know why it's recommended so much . Made an order , on the phone . Lovely fella on the line .. told will be ready in an hour . On a Saturday. Somewhere to sit comfortably when you get there . Food on time , and hot ! Everything was perfect , mixed platter was gorgeous best Sheesh I have had . Not oily or greasy at all ... Would also highly recommend, we will definitely make this our stop for an Indian meal when the taste for it hits again ! Thank you !

Best food in County Durham. Quite easily tops nearly every Indian restaurant I’ve been to (which is a lot). Kebabs are better than the kebab shop. Highly recommended. 10/10

I was away for the weekend with my family and we decided to try Coxhoe Corner for our takeaway night. The gentleman who took our order over the phone sounded so happy and friendly. When my dad finished the call, I even commented on how nice he was! My husband and I went to collect our food and the gentleman had made sure all of our orders were in separate bags. I could tell it was him who took our order over the phone as he was just smiling away and super pleasant to talk to. When we sat down to our meals, we were all very impressed. It is one of the best Indian's I have had in a very LONG TIME. I had a mixed plain curry with keema rice and a cheese naan. The flavours were beautiful and the meat was so tender and tasty. We are prepared to travel the half an hour just to get another one, one night!

We are just visiting for the weekend. Coxhoe corner Indian was recommended and we were not disappointed. Food was 1st class.

Divine! 😋 long wait but well worth it. I can't imagine another Indian out doing this one. Very fresh, flavoursome and meat tender. If you haven't been you're missing out.

Since opening approx 3 years ago I’ve had many meals from them and everyone has been superb. Their meals are of restaurant quality and always made for the time you asked for. Finest Asian meals I’ve had.

Well after hearing how lovely this takeaway is I thought I’d give it a try, there is no delivery service available and pick up times vary from 1-2 hrs depending; I got lamb jalfrezy and was ok nice and fresh, but the chicken masala was super sweet and all the cartons were only 3/4 full , the veg rice was lovely but the chips were so dry we couldn’t eat them; all in all iv tried all the Indian takeouts around this area this one was ok ish but wouldn’t return,and I still think that shotton tandoori wins hands down .
