10 times better service, can see new management has really taken effect and has service running more efficiently. Pleasant atmosphere and kind servers. Thanks again for the hot choccie & special thanks to Alex who i think was the manager!

Shockingly poor service on Saturday 16th December at 6.45pm. The store has closing times shown on entrance with advertised closing time of 7pm on Saturdays. When we entered the store, there were no staff present, yet all goods were on display and coffee machines still on. We waited in the store for 10 minutes for service, calling out for staff to attend to us. We gave up at 6.55pm and walked towards the ticket barriers of the station, when I heard the door of Costa closing and a female staff member running away so she could not be seen.

Went at 8am this morning for a coffee and there was one girl behind the counter serving. As someone who works in hospitality myself I understand it can be stressful especially when dealing with everything alone. However, the server (Katy from her badge), who I was shocked to see was a store manager, was so rude. The way she spoke to me was so belittling, but she was fine with previous customers and to my mother who I was with. Again, I understand the stress, but the way she spoke was disrespectful, especially when considering I am a paying customer. I never write reviews but felt I had to verbalise this as I was so shocked at her attitude I didn’t say anything there and then.

Had the unhappy experience of stopping here yesterday on my way to an appointment. First of all positives, the staff were friendly enough...but that's about it, the toastie I had was barely cooked, the coffee was disgusting....there were boxes all over empty tables.....I usually avoid these chains wherever I can, but was searching for a coffee as no hot water on the train down from Cardiff.....This place is appalling...and I'll be sticking to the lovely independent coffee shops I usually seek out in future.

I visited this Costa on the morning of Oct 17th. I was extremely upset for personal reasons and went to have a soothing hot drink and some space for a while to collect my thoughts. The young woman who served me was very attentive and extremely kind to me. It was very touching and really helped. Thank you.

I waited over 20mins for a coffee - had to leave to catch my train without it. Never got a refund. Staff were sarcastic and immature and confused up the orders. . Shall get a coffee on the train next time.

So I had to go to Cardiff to attend the Apple store, before jumping on the train I decided to grab a mocha. The young woman who served me was very welcoming, bubbly and served me with a huge smile. The barista was also a great buy, chatty and polite. The welcome was great, service was spot on and noting about my experience today could have been improved. Amazing team work and outstanding customer service!

Nice that they have other options of milk coconut milk is definitely a must especially when you can’t have milk service is ok
