Use to love the food there but last time we had food from there it was lacking flavour and undercooked

Tasteless! Even the onions had no flavour. Disappointed!

I was always a regular here, but the last couple of deliveries were disappointing to say the least. My food arrived lukewarm, not so tasty and it’s really turned my stomach. Also our home is clearly signposted, with the address plaque on the door, but yet the delivery driver shouts at me down the phone as he couldn’t find the address…? Very unprofessional, I’m sad to say but I will not be returning after years of being a regular.

We have ordered from here many of times not had any problems until tonight Ordered our usual £35+ 2 hours waiting for delivery phoned up twice to be lied to saying they tried to contact us they have not tried to contact me liers they know where we live Don’t bother ordering from here waste of time

Credit when it's due, the nicest meal I have had here in 10 years, thought I'd give them a chance, glad I did, lovely keena nan, perfect rice, I can't remember the name of the curry as I told them my preference and they cooked it, like they actually listened, it was lovely! Fair play

Please please don't slate diplu and his staff as the service you all have been receiving is from new owners and not diplu whustad or shumon . As due to family commitments they have left the business after 15 years . They are however still working in diplus restaurant in Port talbot which is beautiful I may add . And so far the takeaway won't remove diplus name which is a damn shame as its his name being slated and it isn't him or his staff working there ..... New owners

Called in as I'd just dropped my son off at the Bridgend Inn, never been here before, so give them a go. The shop itself needs some attention, but hey, the menu seemed cheap. Ordered my food and while waiting had the pleasure of watching a ten-year old child fill containers with salad with his bare hands...mmmm. Got my food, and home we go to dish it out. Chicken Pathia not very good, Massala sauce was absent of any flavour, and the Keema Nan must have stuck to the side of the clay oven, it was in bits. The chips and rice were okay'ish. As they say 'Been there, Done it', but that will be it, definitely not returning.

Absolutely terrible! Ordered a chicken tikka kebab my normal but it's now changed from a kebab to a wrap with little chicken and presented in a brown bag wrapped up. Never again

Ordered a chicken korma and a chicken pasanda. Each had 3 lumps of dried chicken in what seemed like soup, not sauce. Hygiene rating is only 3, which is poor. They also only take cash. Read into that what you will, but I pay tax on all my wages.

Had a curry from here twice was awful very watery and bland wouldn't recommend

Been coming here for 13 years+ always beautiful food and not afraid to add extra spice when asked . Spotlessly clean . Always very chatty and polite. And can't fault the food . Think over the years our family has tried everything on the menu lol . And ones that diplu has personally made . 5+ for us everytime :)

Gutted. My first meal was great, went back and the meal was different. Explained what I wanted ( after he started to speak to me then took a call ) ordered a korma for my wife and it was so watery and 4 bits of chicken lol. Staff are crazy rude and just can’t be bothered to do the job. Only one guy there is super nice. The rest need to learn a thing or two in customer service. Will not be going there again.

Disspointed! We found an obscene amount of fine hairs (not human looking) in the tikka sauce!! One or 2 i could let it slide but this was a vile amount! Deffo won't order again!

Doesn’t even warrant one star. Food absolutely terrible, no flavour, no taste. Poor quality meat. Even the naan bread wasn’t nice! Can’t actually find the words to express my disgust. Avoid!

Regularly have a meal for 2 or tikka kebab meal, great value for money and I disagree with others comments. Food is always great and piping hot! What baffles me is that its always ready in ten minutes! Great service!

Good starter but 2 poor mains in the special exactly the same recipe but so bad. How on earth you getting away with selling such bad food? What chicken is this ..tough old meat. Never again. Finally sort yourself out .. you should be ashamed of you product.

It was OK....delivery prompt, food hot, poppadoms nice. The rice and mains were pretty average in terms of texture/flavour. There's better options in area I'd say.

Worst curry ever! Don't go there, tasteless, yesterday's nan bread watery curry, and I think there was an onion bahji but not sure was hard to tell since it was so bad.... waste of time and money, do yourself a favour and skip past this place and buy a microwave curry from CKs.

Worst take away I’ve used this place for 5years but noticed it Slip over the last 12 months Food tonight wast terrible extremely Watery and BLAND and probably 1 of the Worst Curry’s we have had in 20 years Wot Evers gone Wrong they need to Sort it ASAP . Will Avoid.

We Just ordered a Take Away from here tonight and WOW it was Awful in my 30 years of buying Indian food this is at the bottom of my Recommendations we’ve stayed away for 6 months as wasn’t impressed with our last meal. But give them another try. But Gosh Food was terrible No taste and full of water.!why?? Everyone’s food was extremely Watery. Wouldn’t Recommend This Indian as would Only rate a 2 out of 5 Such a shame this place has gone down hill over the last year.

This was the most disgusting curry I and my partner have ever eaten, we put it in the bin ! Watery rice and chewy, Buna and jalfrezi Tasteless made better at home from a jar ! Nan bread was doughy and the pompadoms were salty 🤷‍♀️ Really bad We are Appalled at this meal and will definitely not be returning! 😡

Curry was tasteless, rice was tasteless, chicking was rock hard,sauce was tasteless, poppadoms was soft the sauce was a carton of warm water no flavour or spice ,first and definitely the last time

Always order 2 I person kebab meal deals with extra nan and it’s enough to feed 2 adults and 2 children. Always prompt with delivery and tastes delicious.

Very good food and plenty of it. One of the nicest Indians I have tasted and was very reasonable. Definitely recommend the lamb pattia!

Been going here for years ask and they will make you anything being a veggy I've had some nice dishes made for me by the chefs not many places will customise like these also fast and efficient best round town for takeaway ..

Standard fare but really enjoyed it. Particularly liked the naan breads. The serving staff were helpful and friendly and the food was prepared quickly. Would have liked something more original for vegetarians than the usual onion bhaji and sag aloo. "Vegetable curry" doesn't sound like any effort went into it.

Really disappointed with the poor standard of food I went for the set meal and I had prawn corma and chicken vindaloo with chicken tikka starter pilau rice and onion bhaji The prawn korma sauce was like dish water the prawns was solid the vindaloo was very harsh I’ve eaten a lot of vindaloo’s but this was the worst I’ve ever had ,again I was really disappointed return visit maybe not 🤬

Very disappointed with diplu after ordering from them for years. Had a hard day in work and didn't fancy cooking. I had my son and gf and baby round so a takeaway seems a good option. Diplu took the order and delivered I tipped the driver as I always do. However on checking my order. Half of it missing which included food for the baby. I immediately phoned diplus was told they would drop down the rest of the order. They never did. I ended up cooking for the baby which defeated the object of the takeaway. I will never use this shower again

Absolutley vile! Ordered a meal deal, to be told id be charged £1 to change a curry! & what meal deal doesnt come with chips? The curry was watery & tasteless, everything was awful! Would not recommend!

Excellent meal for 15 people (kids and adults) delivered in 20 mins. Very impressed with standard of food and service will dedicatedly use again.

Great food at good prices delivered quickly.

The rice was like couscous. If they can't get pilau rice right what can they get right. Had an awful takeaway 2 years ago, don't know why I tried them again. Meal delivered within 10 minutes, that included delivery, what does that say. Never again.

Warm and welcoming atmosphere with attentive friendly staff. Fantastic food that offers a few more unusual dishes, at sensible prices. Well worth a visit. Highly recommend Diplus to anyone who wants good sized portions of high quality food!
