Amazing staff always clean and best costa I've used

The two black guys that were on drinks and till this Saturday morning between 11:00-12pm thank you so much. They're very alive, friendly, inviting, they listen and offer extra. Being black myself it’s not something we experience often, so thank you for bringing the energy to not just me but the entire queue. I’m sat writing this as I sit in drinking the best mocha order I’ve had from any Costa and my order stays the same may I add. Customer experience and skill really does make all the difference. Thank you and best wishes in your roles, I’m sure both will do very well in life!

Got served by i think her name is IMRAN So back in the summer I visited this branch and the same girl got my order wrong THREE TIMES, understandably I got frustrated as I said simple order it wasn’t complicated so I don’t understand how she got it wrong three times. The next time I went, she held it against me that I was frustrated and bear in mind, I did not say anything rude to her at all, Nor did I raise my voice, But her interaction has been cold towards me ever since like it’s my fault that she’s incompetent. I decided to change branches just so I can avoid seeing her again, but this time I went this morning thinking that she wouldn’t be there because she don’t usually work on Wednesdays that I’ve noticed as she did the same cold reception again no ‘please’ no ‘thank you’ just dropping my things and then slammed The windows shut. I have filed a complaint since as this is unacceptable & Unprofessional. Why would someone hold it against me that she has two brain cells? To be fair she looks like she should not be handling food, I don’t think she bathes not being funny. I will carry on going to the Pershore Road branch as they seem to be lovely there

Clean and well presented and relaxing place in a busy city, Also the coffee is lovely here.

Had an Asian lady with black hair (Sordy I don’t know their names) make my drink and she was clearly struggling as a man came in and had to tell her to do things now and get another member of staff in. A blonde lady came in and took over and made my boyfriends drink which he tried and it was nice but now he’s too scared to keep drinking incase of health implications. my coffee has a black hair stuck to the lid on the inside and I myself have blonde/ginger hair. Please see photo. Genuinely so upset with the level of care or should I say lack there of from this one staff member as it’s clear the others know what they’re doing. My drunk cost me near £4 and it’s absolutely wasted ? £9 on drinks we can’t even have ??? Furious. Wont be returning to my own local costa. Really disheartening to see the care and quality of our food services have rapidly dropped.

Came through the drive thru at rush hour this morning and server was a lad who was on his own working very hard! He was running the show with great customer service and really brightened my morning after hearing the sad news of Liam Payne! The gentleman is a real credit to your team!

Great coffee shop with cozy seating and a welcoming atmosphere—perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee!

Great service friendly staff! Can get quite busy being in Bham city centre, but the que usually moves along quickly

I really like this place. I've never eaten in, I've just used the drive thru. The staff are always very friendly. So friendly that you really notice it.

Not the most welcoming staff there today. Rushing even though it wasn't busy and the quality of drink wasn't I expected and ordered due not paying attention to service

I been there last week this black woman on drive thru she’s so rude. I was waiting 10 minutes. She’s talking to customer she’s even care about I was waiting long … I will never come back this place

Had ordered some coffees and cakes, coffees were not up to normal standard and very bitter

The lady serving was lovely and made great drinks but what let it done was only 1 toilet that everyone as using even though there is a wheelchair sign and baby changing sign on the door. The toilet seat was up and the toilet edge was covered in wee!

Above average ice tea some Costa locations seem to mess it up but not this one

Service and Atmosphere is spot on, which is why I highly recommend this café, I really enjoy having breakfast there, though having lunch is great, there isn't that many options to choose from.

Went on for a catch up with family on the weekend and it was not busy at this time but every table was dirty with mugs and trays on. With the amount of staff behind the till, there was no excuse all the tables should have been clean it's a disgrace that noone took the initiative to see that there was nowhere to sit for a customer who has just purchased a tray load of items. It would not have taken long at all to clear the tables and the staff seems pretty chilled not rushing around doing anything. Will not be returning

Some of the staff here are really terrible they never smile or ask what you need completely they just go on with completing the order for name sake and the frappe was terrible with only crushed ice and no taste in it the same frappe in other costa are really good with the right proportion and consistency

Very polite and professional staff, nice unusual coffee shop layout with lots of different rooms and levels. Drinks were well made and hot. Panini's and toasties were piping hot!

It's a good environment and the staff are definitely great. The only problem is... why doesn't this Costa have internet? I stopped going due to lack of internet and signal but other than that it's a nice place.

Service is very friendly and approachable here. The atmosphere is calmer than most cafes and most importantly the coffee hits the spot! My go to: an iced oat latte with sugar free syrup! If you're about in the City Centre then be sure to drive thru and grab a Costa coffee!

Came to costa to get some drinks with my friend, Tony was amazing, gave us the time to choose our order and was very friendly. He is so patient and kind!

It's a lovely building and it's a decent option if you need parking. Staff vary from lovely to surly but usually get your order right. Coffee is meh but then it's a Costa. The place itself is usually grotty with a lot of uncleared tables. There's outdoor seating though which is nice, even if it is surrounded by the drive through lane.

Drinks and food are fine but just a bit of feedback. The seating feels really outdated compared to competitors like Starbucks. The bulky chairs often feel boxed in. Also the bathroom is a complete state, no soap, water on the floor and dusty. Would be best to have a more “handsfree” flush too and a lid for the seat so the flush doesn’t spread everywhere.

Had to leave this review as people only tend to review when unhappy, major busy at work today as Good Friday, drove straight past the order point unwittingly got to the window and ordered my drinks, the black guy serving smiled and said you forgot to order didn't you? I was mortified! He says no worries I'll sort it and even set me up on the App. This guy is what customer service is all about if there were more people like him the world would run silky smooth, an absolute pleasure and so polite, I just wish I'd of got his name, will find it next time and give him a shout out, well done Costa 5* 👍

Went through the drive thru today at 3:15 and asked for a sugar free caramel latte. Turned up at the window and heard the manager make a comment to the girl making the drinks about speed and being quicker. Took my drink and drove off. Five mins in, tasted my drink and it was a hot chocolate to which I'm severely allergic too. More care is definitely needed to ensure the correct drinks are handed out. Nobody is going to drive back after driving for five mins to get what they ordered not should anybody be out in danger because of a lack of duty if care to the customers

Pretty much like any other Costa. I didn't see much in the way of drive-through customers, though.

For convenient reasons one of my go to costas compared to harborne as parking is easier, I also find the staff straight forward and nice but I try to walk in to shop and do my order in as I’ve noticed pesky errors when ordering at drive thru like not adding in syrup ,wrong size or plain warm milk for hot chocolate. For trust reasons I enjoy watching my order being made but that is a testament to my experiences with fast food chains as a whole. If it wasn’t for the occasional errors I would have put 5*.

It was great. There are various seating areas for meetings or studies 📚. Great customer service. And quick delivery of orders.

Love the unique building but the staff are just miserable. Perhaps they should try drinking more coffee.

Quick drinks and easy&fast service!

Refurbished building with extension. Cosy in both sides. Near the bus stops from Harborne, Moseley and Edgbaston. Close to the cinemas and Broad Street. Was closed for a period in 2022 before reopening. Doesn't look too different inside.

Charming location for a Costa. Somehow surrounded by busyness but manages to be a little bit of quiet (mostly). Staff are usually busy but friendly. Space can be a little cramped inside but if it's a nice day the outside is spacious.

Djali , my sister from another mister,served me today as I popped in the store though its a drive thru.... She was warm welcoming knowledgeable and made my time in Costa a joy. I ended up buying a selection of cakes after her and her colleagues advised me on what tastes the best. My cortado was also on point! Thank you for fantastic customer service and I hope to see you soon Best wishes Update *** Arrived at the drive-thru for a visit inside the coffee shop when I looked on Google it told me that the the coffee shop would be closing at 8 I arrived at 6:50 to be told that I could only stay for 10 minutes and that the drive-thru was open for another hour we were offered drinks in takeaway Cup and we accepted this offer the colleague known to me as RAS was extremely professional and friendly throughout my visit he did not rush me out the door despite telling me what the rules wear and I thoroughly enjoyed my cortado despite being told it would be in a takeaway Cup he managed to put it in some glassware for me I appreciate the customer service received today day on the 25th of August 20-22 so you guys again soon please excuse any errors in spelling this message has been voice typed

It wasn't that quick as you want, especially Drive Through Cafe..

come regularly on a Monday and Tuesday evenings. For a cortado that hits the spot!!! Secondly the friendly service from the staff especially Tony and Imaan!! keep up the good work!!

Had a dilemma of ordering via the app and it being sent to the wrong costa, the staff in today were kind enough to resolve the issue and make my order with haste. Will be returning for sure!!

4 times I have now tried to stop and been unable to park so have given up. Couldn't give more than one star as haven't been able to get out of car and into shop

Had the best customer service today by a lady with the curly hair! She was amazing love this costa friendly quick service . There is a tall Asian worker there too is also super friendly and this is my go to costa because of the friendly staff. V happy !

0* if I could!!! Absolutely ridiculous! Seeing as some people need a refreshers course on how to communicate with customers with respect and manners, by all means here we go. Walked in to get a drink on the go and RANDOMLY a tall chubby caucasian accused me to be a 'threat' I have ordered a medium sized hot chocolate by which I did get with a cheeky reply of 'if you going to be a threat don't come back' I have asked for his name not ONCE not TWICE but THREE times, but he walked off! Accusing customers is highly unprofessional especially if you are at the FRONT REPRESENTING THE SHOP.

Busy little Costa in Birmingham, but the service was excellent- helpful, welcoming and happy baristas. Very good coffee and toast.

Everyone knows Costa, but this Costa, based in a gerogian building with a modern rear extension, offering lots of side rooms and lounges which are ideal for getting some work done or a quit conversation. Outdoor seating in summer is available, but facing a very busy island so I'd stay indoors. Drive through also available

Me and my brother have been coming to this Costa for a long while, everytime we order any drinks off the menu either one or both of the drinks have been made poorly, no coffee , no flavour, lack of effort, poorly made. Choc mint latte:- the barrista dropped half the ice on the floor & blended the remaining ice with out the syrup she added it after & it was too much syrup, it tasted like toothpaste with all the syrup at the bottom, Not blended correctly & was served half full

Attended costa at birmingham five ways. Genuinely the worst coffee I have ever tasted. I cant emphasise how burnt the coffee was. Was such a shame, but hey. WIll never be returning here.

I come here a lot, great environment to work in, not too crowded and chairs are all spaced out.

Beautiful venue located in the middle of an Ireland

The staff were somewhat friendly but they got multiple orders wrong and took their time as they didn't know how to work the till. My mum ordered a frostino and got a decaf coffee, I don't know how you mishear frostino and she's quite loud speaking too. Very disappointed and won't be rushing back to this costa.

It isn't my nearest Costa but the staff are extremely friendly and professional.

Quick service even when you're not using the drive thru.

Came for the mac and cheese and a fruit cooler and was disappointed when we were told that they have stopped selling cold beverages and hot food because they close in 15 minutes. I didn't realise that you stopped selling certain items off your menu at a certain time before you've closed, and I think it should be made a lot clearer on the website, because we waited half an hour in the drive thru just to be told no you're too late for that now.

Courteous server, order completed exactly as I requested. Had an extra hot vanilla latte and blueberry muffin - delicious
