Costa Coffee Altrincham in Trafford

I visit costa in Altrincham every Saturday with my daughter and we always have very positive experiences. I love the team working on that day, they are nice, polite, always smiling and they know how to prepare food and drinks the best (I have been in different Costas, where food was burned amd stuff not very pleasant), so well done to Altrincham team!

Great customer service experience today with a staff member named (Ricky). He was very helpful and friendly, and they went above and beyond to serve my food/beverage efficiency whilst i had my hands full with a small child.

The service was excellent and all the staff were friendly but Paul made my day. He was so friendly and put a smile on both of our faces. He deserves a raise!!

So, I enter, ready, after a long walk, to enjoy some nice coffee and maybe some food too. The queues are confusing but I find my way in and I am appalled to see such food with *flies* all over it. Is that a health and safety violation? Not just this, but there was a bit of a false advertising going on when something was advertised as being cheese and tomato in a bag when it was actually bread. I got to the area where I get my drink when I see that an employee can't even get a lid on a blender! They waste paper by printing receipts and throwing them away 5 seconds later, there are receipts all over the counters at the same time, and I was just shocked. No friendly service either, just a whole bunch of yelling. I take my drink and head out to sit on a calm chair when I suddenly sit down, feel something weird, and stand up to find chewing gum on my trousers!! EWWW!! Drink was good, marshmallows okay (I decided to try that instead of the horrendous, fly-covered food). Overall, pretty bad experience. May recommend, but only due to the drinks and not the overall quality of the area.

Food came relatively quick and the barista didn’t blend my boba this time! (A different Costa blended my boba so I had 1) The food was great, would recommend.

Was visiting Altrincham for a sporting event. I had time so went to the lovely town centre and Costa. The coffee was excellent and my toasted sandwich was cooked well. There is no clear way to queue so missed out a little on speed of being served, but the service itself was personable, friendly polite and efficient. The cafe itself feels like it could do with a bit of a spruce up but that didn't detract from a really pleasureable lunch in a Costa I hadn't previously visited.

Service today was wonderful. I did leave a review, and some pictures, about the dog hair on the sofa and the tables not being cleared after over an hour. As I got up to leave, a member of staff started clearing my table and cleaning the sofa as best he could. I thought I would speak to someone about it anyway. The supervisor was very attentive and was very apologetic, explaining that the dog was a service dog. I understood, anyway, and explained that I know they are incredibly busy with so many orders coming from different sources. I just wanted to highlight something that could possibly be improved. So much is put on staff at these kinds of places and my heart goes out to them.

Shout out to Paul who served us today! Wouldn’t normally leave a review, and do often visit Costa but needed to give Paul a mention. As soon as we got in the shop, he greeted us with a smile, was happy to serve us and overall he seemed really happy and put a smile on our faces. Paul is a credit to Costa !!

The dirtiest Costa I’ve ever been !!, toilet shocking, dirty tiles looks like it’s never been cleaned smells awful. Couldn’t wait to get out of there never came to clear the table sat in there for nearly 2 hours

I visited today and was served by a lovely man, im not sure I caught his name but it could be Paul. I would never usually write a review, I’ve been to many a costa in my lifetime, I spend most days enjoying coffee in one but this man deserves a review. He brightened my day, he looked to be so happy doing his job and enjoyed serving every customer. He’s a credit to costa coffee altrincham.

i came in today and got the new whipped vanilla iced latte, it was delicious but i just want to say the person who served me called Paul really did cheer me up he came across so bubbly and happy i just wanted to say thank you very much Paul for being the ray of positivity in my day! x

Costa Coffee Altrincham is located at George Street, close to Altrincham station, WA15 8EJ. Excellent customer services, helpful staff, warm welcoming experience. Freshly breaded pastry. Highly recommended.

Been here a few times, always fast service, always up to Costa standards. Staff are usually friendly, helpful and efficient.

Dirty tables with pots/rubbish left on them both downstairs/upstairs. On the upstairs bit, where they've got the glass barrier overlooking the street, there was some kind of grease on it and some writing that said somebody was here then couldn't make out the rest. Not as bad as last time when I visited my additional needs daughter only likes costa so had to come in for a drink as she needed the bathroom

Fantastic coffee Costa coffee is the best coffee round I always have barista style coffee I'm a food and the staff are always friendly and helpful as well

Fantastic it is my every day routine to get a cup of coffee from this brand. Staff are very helpful.

This place definately needs a shake up. Staff have as much life as a packet of cheese. Customers left waiting while they decide who is going to serve. Tables with used cups and saucers, no one clearing. Welcome to Altrincham Costa!

Im so surprised at some of the negative comments.I am a regular and sat here now listening to the young woman dealing with a busy queue whilst being very pleasant and chatty with the customers.She works in perfect harmony with the barista and the other lady server.She is even politely doing her corporate duty and pushing the cake for a pound offer with great sucess.The same team are always bantering with each other and are clearly a great team.What a credit to your business in difficult trading circumstances.Well done team.Keep up the good work.

Friendly staff. sService pretty fast. Coffee was very nice.. But porridge wasn't nice.. I would suggest to give customers option with water or with milk as with water it was not good at all absolutely tasteless even if it was golden syrup flavour.. Just my own opinion 😁

Absolutely filthy coffee shop. Whole place needs a refurb and a deep clean

The Altrincham branch feels like it's being "wound down". Slower and slower service, coffee machines and dishwashers not working, 2 of 3 bathrooms out of order and the one that is functional has no toilet paper and looks like it hasn't been cleaned for days. The staff do their best but they seem not to have any obvious management to help organise things.

Everyone who works here is so friendly. Paul is so upbeat, I walk in early in the morning like 😑💤 and he’s like 😃and then I’m like 😃

Excellent coffee (cappuccino) with a super creamy top, polite young lady serving, polite - and incredibly efficient - barrista. Watching the young man make my coffee, I became exhausted at his efficiency. Puts others to shame. 😊😊

My partner and myself recently started going to Costa Coffee in the Stamford Quarter on Altrincham, we go there a couple of times a week now because the staff are always pleasant and helpful,I would recommend Costa Coffee to anyone .

At least these guys pay tax in the UK make them slightly more acceptable than other generic coffee shop chains currently homogenising uk high streets

The manager paul cannot cope with preparing coffees..cold flat cappuchinos. Had a coffee today prepared by a girl who is not capable of preparing a decent drink. This place needs a competent manager with competent staff. I personally have moved to cafe nero round the corner. Very professional

Extremely friendly staff but there are a number of sockets that still need to fixed also needs more attention with the cleaning aspect upstairs the RSJ needs attention and also other areas surrounding the window

Staff is nice, could get rid of the sceeens now as it's hard to hear, you end up having to bend down to the window with the cashier being very close to them what makes it even worse if the screens weren't there in the first place.

Good Costa, can sometimes be a little slow getting coffee as there are sometimes not enough staff to cope with the extra customers. Staff are super friendly and not flustered.

Not very impressed with this shop. Unfriendly staff. Hot chocolate wad luke warm. Were more interested talking amongst themselves intead of serving customers. I won't be going to this Costa coffee shop.

It's ok. Atmosphere not great. Service was good but food bit basic.

Definitely a nice... But I didn't find that warm and welcoming smile from the servers. When asked about the coffee weather it just black and nothing else added in... (Because I'm on the keto)... I got this look as if should have know the answer. A bit more effort and a bit more friendliness would have been nice... This was my first visit.

Lady who was in charge today was extremely rude and has no empathy. She also didn't know the anything about actually covid restriction. After she asked me to wear a mask I told her that I was exempt. Then I cover my face by my shirt but still sge refuse to serve me.

Ginger bread latte (takeaway,) was delicious today.

I didn't actually go there and will never support Costa or Cafe Nero or Starbucks or Tim Hortons. I rarely buy coffee away from home and when I do it is always from an independent shop not a chain.

Oh dear went in for coffee and sandwich only tables available were upstairs, the floor was dirty and the tables hadn't been cleared. Will not be returning. Such a shame.

Sat down with a friend & family, had chocolate drink and chocolate cake, warm place in winter months, it's not a cheap place to eat & drink sorry to say, but good as a meeting place, it has outside tables, better inside in winter months,

Lovely staff and good coffee. The only downside to this place is the inability to clean the tables after clearing the crockery etc. Not very appealing and a shame.

Asked for one of those fancy summer drinks, salted caramel crunch for £3.45 The barista recommended that I have it hot, as it was raining I thought it'd be nice to have a warm drink. Then she made something completely different, a simple small latte, nothing fancy, no cream or crunch and I had to pay 50p more because it was a hot drink? Okay 😐 maybe next time just make the drink what the customer asks for and charge them what it says on the board.

It's got a great selection of drinks and food to chose from. The view over town is very pleasing and the glass wall gives a sense of nature. There's nothing extremely notable about this place, but I'd recommend it. Peace out. It's been ya boy.

Felt like staff were very rude today. We were under charged for our order so we were honest and pointed it out, staff were quite snappy with us for pointing it out. Ordinarily have good service in here but today I was very disappointed- it felt very disorganised even though it was quiet.
