once, twice, more than thrice, these clowns manage to F up orders. last 3 orders, half the order missing? Why? inability to move beyond the first number they see and assume that's the quantum (for the dumb Costa staff - this means number) of items. Instead, the quantum is noted as 2@, 3@ etc. Or a little bit of common sense. Look at the cost and think, does one coffee cost £19? Absolute morons. A shame when serving coffee is a competency step too far.

I am a Costa addict. This branch is usually OK and depending on the staff member my particular order can be fantastic. I like a dry (frothy) cappuccino. The guy making the coffee today couldn't have tried less if he had been asleep! The first cappuccino he made me resembled a flat white, I politely asked him if he could remake it. He did and made me another flat white. I asked for my money back and walked to Cost at the cinema where I had a perfect cappuccino at first time of asking.

Not a place I would ever purchase food, as it is so expensive. Since the opening of an independent coffee approx 100 meters away, with better quality and pricing, I no longer tend to use Costa.

I find it hard to find fault with Costa in Kilmarnock. The coffee is always perfect, the cakes and toasties on offer are delicious. And the staff are always so polite and welcoming.

I visited this branch of Costa Coffee for a very late lunch at 4.00pm on the last Saturday before Christmas. As expected they were very busy but the queue went down quickly and my cappuccino came out almost as soon as I had paid. There was a short delay for my brie and bacon panini but it was brought to my table whilst my coffee was still hot. Top marks to the staff for maintaing a high standard of service and keeping most of the tables clear of used crockery despite the volume of customers. No marks to the father who allowed his youngster to scream incessantly for no apparent reason. If you read this, have some thought for other customers next time.

When in for one off the Christmas specials. Totally let down. Had a lint hot chocolate and honestly was not impressed. Was very sickly and did not taste like lint at all. No presentation thought about as the cream was slapped on top . The servers were unhappy and did not look very approachable. One was texting and the the other very crabby. Will not be back.

Got there 30 mins before closing but was very surprised to see most of the food has already been started to be packed away for the end of the day surely it should have been 9pm as that was the closing time on the door. But on saying this I had the new gingerbread latte mmm amazing.
