This coffee shop used to be one of my favourite places to grab a coffee and quick snack in Armagh. I haven't had the chance to go there for a few months. Staff are lovely, coffee is still great but the chairs are filthy with fabric in holes on them, tables are a mess and the place has got extremely scrappy and dirty looking. I'm afraid I won't be back for a long time.

This place must be the dirtiest in town! It's really filthy! Part of the floor in carpet and you don't even know what was the original colour it's that dirty Soft seats are stained. They are giving spoons to customers - them spoons were not cleaned for ages! I can not believe that place is allowed to be opened to public.

Visited for a coffee and pastry and ordered cafe mocha and carmel square. £ 6.05 .! What a joke. They even have the brass neck to charge you 60 or 70 p extra if you want an aerosol squirt of cream!! Small carmel square £2.50 !, coffee £ 3.55. Greedy rip off merchants. No value for money, slow service always dirty tables in this hole of an excuse of a coffee shop. I said to the girl when paying it was a ridiculous rip off price. Never be back to this substandard rip off cafe. In this day and age where things are dear enough, this crowd of greedy cowboys rip off the local community seeking a coffee and pastry. Pathetic coffee shop and will never ever go back . What is the problem with these people they have to put the arm in all the time and rip people off.!? A place with character, more friendly staff and value for money coffee should be the order of the day . Avoid this hellhole at all costs. !!

Terrible place to get coffee. Everything seemed like it was a hassle to the staff. I ordered a carrot and walnut cake and my friend ordered a bakewell tart, both of which came on the same plate with the second plate stacked underneath it. I was shocked to say the least. Then went looking a table and they where filty and had not been cleaned. Again shocked. My friend ordered a tea and while I lifted the cup of the tray I noticed that it was coffee stained and dirty. I went on to eat the cake and found a hair cooked within the cake. I will not recommend this place at all. And I won't be back. There are far better coffee shops in armagh. Even the filling station coffee can do better than this place.

Hi All, I took the kids to Costa Armagh today as a treat. Whilst waiting for my order, after spending £12 on 3 drinks, I expressed my internet in the syrups and asked which ones where sugar free. Not taking sugar fo personal reasons I was told the blue labelled bottles where all sugar free. I then asked what are the flavours being told they were hazelnut, caramel & ginger bread. Not being familiar with or having tasted gingerbread syrup I asked if I could try it. I was instantly told it was an ‘extra’ and I would have to pay. I explained that I was talking about a drip (on the end of a stirrer stick) and not a serving and I was still told it would be an extra! Where is the Customer service in that? Come on, a drip, a tiny tear. I understand everything has a cost these days but I had just handed over £12 for mainly ice!! Bad attitude too, no “sorry but we have to charge” etc.

Really hungry and needed a fill up. Time 5.30pm. Hut food, toasties finished. Oven off. Pathetic. Ordered a tea cake bot they could not toast it. Ordered americano with cream. Tea cake cold and almost stale. Butter portions melted and oily, Coffee black. I had to go up and get more cream. Young male staff uninterested. Really angry at the experience. 50% off government offer made it palatable.

She restored my faith in you g sales assistants. A credit to cosata. Young girl had long dark hair tied up. Wee tattoo on her arm. Pleasure to visit and great coffee.

Killing a bit of time and popped in for a coffee. I had a cortado which is a blend between expresso and latte. A nice buttered scone, slightly warmed did the trick. Staff are fine. Came to around 4 stg which is ok as some of their offerings can work out dear. Toilet is coded, number from staff. Useful for a pit stop as I said.

Visited this particular Costa one evening with a group of friends. Building seems fairly newly kitted out but the staff were friendly and knew their job. Hard to to be bowled over by a big brand coffee shop but likewise this particular branch seems to be doing everything right so no complaints. And just a general bit of information regarding Costa-if you're hungry but don't want to be hitting the sweet stuff, most of the branches I've asked offer toast but never list it on the menu.

Its nice for a coffee break. I am not the most ardent lover of Costa but when in need of a coffee in the shopping area it is handy. A regular americano and a cheese and ham toastie was over a fiver. You could almost get a full meal or a chinese or a sausage supper for that. But the coffee was large. The toastie was gooey but edible. Staff are always nice here. And it is reasonable clean, though you can often find uncleaned tables. It is what it is.

In this shop you do not get coffee/drinks at the general costa standard. The hot chocolates are extremely milky with no taste. Disappointed with what you get when you think you will get the standard of drinks advertised.

This place was chosen by me to meet a friend. Costa seem to be targeting out of town shopping centre places with stand alone purpose built cafes. No doubt they are all built from the one design.

Called in for a quick coffee yesterday afternoon 12/09/2017 approx 2.40pm to find the cafe so untidy and totally uninviting. Numerous tables both inside and outside the promises had not been cleared. Food and napkins left laying on the floor and the daily papers left open on the seating areas. Once I was eventually served I found great difficulty in finding a presentable table to sit at. The toilet area was also unpresentable with used tissues on the floor- sadly it was not a good experience and will not be back.

Costa Coffee is, in my opinion, the best of the coffee shop chains and for me their Flat White is the best. Highly recommended if you like smooth strong coffee with milk. The snack and food stuff served is good also. Staff in this Armagh coffee shop are friendly and efficient.

I called here with my partner reluctantly as visited here before found the 2 girls behind the counter unfriendly to say the least!!! Partner went in I did not tell her of my previous experience she came out saying exactly the same!! I am a business owner myself and would not get a way treating my customers in this way !!! To the management you are very lucky you don't have competitors out there as they could teach you a thing or two!!! Won't say I won't be back as I'm a coffee addict !! But will do so only as last resort!! Now just to clarify this is the one beside Argos !!

I tend to find with Costa it's hit+miss but this place is awful every time I go. The staff clearly not trained in how to master the art and it doesn't seem to change anytime

Stopped here as we were leaving Armagh, we had some great warm drinks. Cleanliness was a bit of an issue as tables weren't being cleaned, seating is also a bit of an issue because we had to move seats so we could sit together at a table. May return in future.

I went into Costa with my children to meet my sister for a coffee and chat. The alarm system is situated on the right side as you enter, it's within reach to allow my 3 year old to access it. Unfortunately I did not see it when I entered, and only became aware when my child put the alarm system off. Once it had stopped, she went over again as any curious child will! The manger approached me, and made it very clear that she was watching my child running over to it and she was not happy. I felt completely embarrassed, as other customers could hear. Before leaving I spoke to the manger and told her I didn't appreciate how she spoke to me, and they should think about where the alarm system is placed. This was my first time at Costa, and I doubt I'll be back.

I was a regular Costa customer until they put their prices up (again) last year. They are quite expensive for the quality of coffee, and the food isn't very exciting. I go to the Armagh branch for convenience. A couple of the staff are very good, but one in particular (dark haired girl) is awful - she makes it seem it is causing her actual pain to serve you...

Sorry to say but very average coffee at to me very costly prices. Stood for fifteen minutes waiting to be served. Three staff members and six customers in shop with two in front of me. Was not worth the wait.

We thought we would give this a second chance as we thought we had been unlucky on our first visit. It would appear that the staff have either been poorly trained both in managing the coffee machine and in general manners or they simply don't want to work there.

This Costa outlet stands out in a small retail park. Clearly needed and popular it is typical of this franchise especially in respect of the slowness of service which is partly due to the layout of the servery. Apart from that a nice place to relax and enjoy a coffee.

It was pouring rain on a Monday morning when we arrived here In Poyntzpass on a recommendation. We didn’t know this independent place existed. This is a small village about 8 miles from Newry and this cafe is almost adjacent to the old canal towpath, which is part of the Ulster Way so hikers, bikers and walkers are a mainstay of their business. Like many places they currently offer the current government eat out to help out deal that ends at the end of August 2020. It’s about the only popular thing this lousy government has done in its first year in power. So we sat in and it was really cosy and homely. We were captivated by the sophisticated and shiny coffee machine - apparently it was only installed yesterday. The owner explained the inner workings of this contraption and I was impressed with the technology behind our coffee. We ordered large cappuccinos, one toasted chicken & pineapple toastie with side salad and one poached eggs (2) with avocado mash on sourdough with chilli flakes. All in all £8.5 for two. The service was ace and it’s really worth a visit or several.
