Costa Coffee in Doncaster

One of the best Costa coffees we have had in a while. Friendly service and well prepared coffee, milk done to perfection.

Will always stop for a coffee and cake when changing trains at Doncaster station and always receive really top service fresh tasting cakes and a hot drink. Staff always friendly.

This is the Herten Triangle Costa, so many other reviews seem to confuse it with the train station Costa. We come here regularly and often get JustEat delivery. Service quality dipped a bit last year but it’s back to excellent again. Food is good and drinks look artistic as shown in the photo.

The guy at Costa was the most helpful best thing about Doncaster station, every train was delayed/cancelled/changed platforms and after serving us (nice food thanks) we were fighting with the faulty touch screen and apps on phones trying to find platform info for our train and he went out of his way to try to help us.

Spot on most of the time. Just stop trying to force vegan cream on me it tastes bloomin awful a d stop telling lies over the cream. Costa is not facing out dairy cream and switching to only vegan as I contacted head office directly and I also asked at lakeside. So stop feeding me rubbish and being lazy. If I want dairy cream then please give me what I ask for instead of telling fibs.

Very friendly staff,nice friendly atmosphere

Very rude woman barista, did not ask for costa card, did not acknowledge the customer and used incorrect standard to remove my toastie from the oven, leaving it charred and ripped.

Nice coffee shop ,free parking outside and close to the cinema and shopping

Came in today. Can never complain about food or drink. However, I am a little upset with how I was treated by Kelly. She was very unpleasant when ordering drinks and food instead of asking if we had anything else to order processed to tell me how much my coffee was (I hadn't finished my order). Later order food from the app as we were curious of the Christmas menu, partner went up to collect and the kind gentlemen behind the counter asked us what we would like so he said we ordered on the app, to which Kelly processed to be quite rude and snapping saying 'yes I'm doing it now'. So overall, I'm not too happy with how rude she was to us. The other 2 staff members were lovely with us and friendly.

Just visited this place I do it all the time as come through Doncaster, the lady who served me was this time clearly pretty unhappy to be at work as she wasn’t very nice when taking the order, after waiting, I received my food not in a proper hot food Costa thing as always but in a white bag which means It’s now just burning me, they also completely forgot to make my coffee even though I was standing right in front of them and she asked me what size I wanted but i was just like oh okay we’ll I need to get on that train now this minute so obviously couldn’t even get a refund, like it’s a train station it wasn’t busy at all either, really weird because normally have such a good will be getting food on the train to avoid being glared at and burnt

Rude rude rude staff. Not a single word to me, no hello, not even to ask me what I wanted, or a thank you at the end. Just turned around and raised an eyebrow at me to prompt my order. She was lucky I'd had nothing to eat all day or I'd have walked away.

The Herten Triangle outlet is a good place to have a coffee. The staff are pleasant and courteous. It's a pleasure to go.

Unless you have about 30 minutes to spare before your train don’t bother with this place. Had to leave without my coffee as they couldn’t keep up with the orders and the train has arrived. Need another machine and more staff preparing drinks as one person can’t cope with the demand.

Update: Still pukka! Getting a bit pricey mind 😕 Always a good pit stop here, can get busy at peak times. Normally plenty of parking available, kids and disabled bays near the front of the store. There is a few electric car charge points and bays also.

Reasonable coffee but expensive, passable food.

We sat inside to eat and it was full of flies, not the staffs fault, they were all lovely, but did affect the atmosphere as we were constantly waving flies away.

Chloe has absolutely no customer skills. Abrupt, 1 word answers. Makes drinks for other customers to then say we have no cream to finish off. 2 customers followed me and were equally badly treated. Very poor service.

Always first class service with top class coffee and their toasted teacakes are excellent

This place never has ice, I travel daily and 9 times out of 10 they don’t have ice. I’m not sure why they even have frappes on the menu at this station.

Would visit again, brill service and drinks!

It was early in the morning, so, not so many people, friendly staff though and good coffee as always.

Shocking service as I was waiting in a queue with others 15 minutes before my train, got served in 5 minutes for my order of a single large Americano and had to leave before I received it as my train arrived. Four people who had ordered after me got served before me, as the staff had no Idea how to arrange orders in their correct sequence. Not happy and money wasted

Needs a good clean! Missed my order so wanstood waiting and tables covered in empty mugs etc. Staff niceand friendly

Terrible experience, long queue, then told there was no oven so no food but no sign out so i waited about 15mins only to find that out. My friend was nearly late for work and got no food before shift. Apparently i could tell because 'the liggts werent on in the counter', the ciunter that was being perfectly well lit by the ambient lighting in the branch... it was all just a bit shoddy.

Picked up a cortado this morning. Quick service and great taste.

Decent coffee at best, nothing special. Best employees, service was great and big smiles all around. But the coffee, being the reason for the establishment, was quite middle of the road. I expected better.

Nice coffee always is but would definitely never recommend food from any costa the food absolutely stink especially the bacon always raw dont know why people eat from costa especially how the food is cooked the toast is like bread and not one food looks nice not one bit I wouldnt recommend even if u are very hungry unless u want to be I'll coffee always very nice as I believe best coffee in the world spot on with the coffee keep up the good work but for jesus christ get rid of all the food it is grose all off it doesnt even cook properly wouldnt even feed the food to a dog

Guaranteed 5 Stars if Costa would start doing a White Mocha...doesn't have to be for everyone, just for me will do. Still great though.

I come here to do uni work often and always feel so welcome and looked after by the staff. Everyone is lovely and chatty, but also considerate when I'm working. Special shout-out to the manager, Dan. He does an amazing job at making sure the staff and customers are happy. Love it here!

The house was cold and there was a queue to be served. Coffee good though and staff friendly.

Regular visit this Costa. Staff are really friendly. Great atmosphere. Coffee is always spot on and always hot. Special mention to Dan that is managing the place. He is so friendly, very chatty and makes you feel very welcome.

Convenient and always the same standard

Called in after doing a couple of laps of the lake , had a hot chocolate and a millionaire shortbread - both were great. The staff were attentive , the seating area was clean and comfy.

Visit this costa on a regular basis as it's a chilled out place to be, which is down to the great staff!! Its the only place that's always cleaned regularly and your coffee served to your table. Credit to all the staff👍👍

Another fine branch of my favourite coffee chain, located alongside several other eateries/take away facilities, it offers the usual selection of drinks and range of snacks, and is handily placed when visiting the local cinema, leisure centre or major supermarket if you need a caffeine pick-me-up

It's your regular coffee shop offering takeaway, sit in or outside. Attracts regular immigrants who paid no respect to Covid19 guidlines when they were required to do so.

Had a flat white in a proper cup this morning, it was bueatifully presented by the lady and tasted very nice. Staff always polite .

Give this man a raise. Went today (19th May, 2021 at 4pm). The gentleman who served me was very friendly, smile on his face, with fast and efficient service. He was everything you could as for. For someone with disabilities, he made me feel very comfortable and at ease.

Coffee Is good but just recently it has been unpleasant arriving for a drink early in the morning, the bin outside is always full and overflowing, there's rubbish all over the car park and one bin has been vandalised. Whoever is responsible for the upkeep of the car park is doing a very poor job and many customers are complaining about it.

This review is for the Costa Coffee inside the main station, rather than on the platform. The barista was really delightful, friendly and knowledgable, I enjoyed my iced latte

Still open not sure if you can sit in but you can certainly take away staff are brilliant very fast and efficient, my favorite at the moment is the purple one absolutely gorgeous, enjoy and stay safe.

Really nice environment and kind, helpfull staff respecting the circumstances. Realised i was given the wrong drink too late however im sure it was a one off mistake we all make some times.

A lovely place for a coffee. Went earlier today and it was quiet a few people in all abiding by social distancing. The cashier was lovely and polite and helped a young boy find something to have within the amount he had. Great job guys
