Beautifully decorated and made for a refreshing breakfast.

I bought a cup of iced lattie， but it look like sb drunk a bit.

Bought 2 white hot chocolate and one ordinary hot chocolate . White hot chocolate just tasted like sweet milk no taste at all very disappointing .

Went for a coffee and cake. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Carrot and walnut cake was delicious.

The ladies who were working were really nice with great service. Cafe itself was clean but looked unloved. Lovely coffee as always.

Visited this Costa around 9.30am on 9th Jan and got 2 coffees which were fine. The tables were sticky, so i asked if it could be wiped. The toilet door looked like it needed a new one and the toilet was filthy to which I reported to a member of staff as we were leaving

Usual costs. Very good staff. Tables cleared. A good Costa to go to.

Older woman who works there with dyed red/purple hair has been rude and condescending many times.

Polite, friendly and attentive staff. This Costa (Prince Bishops, Durham) is looking a bit tired now though compared to others in my opinion would benefit from a bit of a renovation

I went to ask the staff about it and showed them my app. The manager said it was because I had qualified for a free drink. I said i qualified yesterday and showed her the date. She reluctantly added my bean on. No apology. Made me feel like i was diddling them, which I wasn't. Ive had it happen before, thats why i now check. Never had that reaction from a staff member before. Make sure you check your beans!

Called into Costa this morning on my way back from dropping my car off for its MOT. Costa products were high quality as always but barista was brilliant. Friendly, informative and insanely chirpy given how early it was. Really inviting place to visit. Thank you!

Told by staff that we weren't allowed to take an empty table for 2 including a 12 month child in small pram as there existed a queue (3 people! and one of these was a takeaway), the staff a young man was quite abrupt in his manner, very poor management skills. Looking around, there were 4 tables of 3-4 chairs occupied by a single student on each table! all these students had finished their drinks - no cups and not waiting for any refreshments, appeared to be just using laptops and getting a warm! As a regular Costa Coffee customer we will not be returning to this Durham site, there are better coffee shops in Durham ..Neros, Flat White to name but a few!

Friendly staff, clean cafe, handy location for the city centre, plenty of seating available. Quality of coffee was good.

Fast service, pleasant staff and a good range of snacks.

A toddler was running all over the shop (which is surely a health and safety hazard) and screaming so loud that I could hear it despite having headphones in and my music at top volume. Neither management nor the lazy and inconsiderate "parents" did anything to corral this child, despite the fact that many other customers were visibly annoyed. Very poor customer experience for everyone except perhaps the "parents." Was intending to eat in but got my food and drink to go because of the chaos and will not be returning.

We called into this coffee shop today ,the girl with purple hair was very rude and have no customer service,the coffee which we had many times at other Costa cafe was absolutely awful.we won’t be going back .

Visited at 4:32. Told straight away that they would be shutting at 5. Nice friendly welcome, there. Latte far too hot. Like an old fashioned transport cafe milky coffee that skins when you are not looking at it. Not great. Won't go back.

Waited almost 10 minutes for a Frappe while other customers’ orders were made straightaway including my friend’s. No clear reason for the delay and staff were unnecessarily unfriendly, not a pleasant experience.

Getting served was easy but Getting my order was a disaster as people who were behind me were served 1st so when I asked I was told he didn't have my order I said really well you do have my money

Good food and drinks at a decent price. Only spare table was next to the toilet door and it opens onto the back of one of our chairs.

Winters day in Durham so stopped off for a latte and a hot chocolate to take out. 3 staff serving so served quickly. Pleasant staff member.

What lovely staff in Costa Durham at the moment. One member of staff I think had Sam on her badge especially lovely, very helpful to all the customers without even being asked. Seemed so efficient too. Thanks Costa.

2 hours for two hot chocolates, had warmer pi***s...

My order took nearly two hours to arrived. It normally takes 30/40 minutes.

Very disappointing poor customer service. I have been to may Costas throughout UK This one is definitely at the bottom of my list,never again.

Sausage nap isn’t very big for £4 I expected a bit more to be honest. Probably won’t be back. But everything else was good.

I was working in this branch today and the staff where amazing really friendly and so helpful and understanding. All this while serving a steady stream of customers. Total thumbs up for me 👍👍👍

The new Adez Oat milk has ruined Costa coffee for me and my husband. We left our drinks yesterday as they were near to undrinkable, too sweet and makes the coffee taste awful. The hot chocolate tasted like an instant drink from a packet and the sweetness of the Adez milk just made it sickly sweet. Such a shame as we have drank Costa Coffee for years and really liked the Alpro Barista dairy alternative drinks. Oh and it also isn't gluten free anymore!

Christmas coffees and cakes, what's not to love? Popped in for coffee on way back for bus; needed cheering up after loosing "bunny" from handbag!!( ps if anybody finds....). Good to visit a Costa at this time of year.

Walking down High Street in Prince Bishops Shopping Centre my twin brother Stephen and I chanced upon this Costa Coffee outlet and I must say it was quite good. A neat and tidy interior, light and airy, a glass fronted serving bar showcases the goodies on offer and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this cafe both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling shopping streets, this is were we chose to sit. We ordered a flat white coffee each, served steaming hot, we just kicked back and planned out the day ahead while sipping our coffee's. I am a big fan of the coffee served in Costa Coffee, its consistant in all their outlets and their flat white coffee is a particular favourite of mine. We both really enjoyed our coffee's in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit to this particular Costa Coffee outlet we were totally impressed. This Costa Coffee is easy to locate along High Street in Prince Bishops Shopping Centre, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Very impressed with Costa-there was a problem with Just Eat delivery but Costa took time to ring and inform me that the food hadn't been picked up and I was able to get a refund from Just Eat and reorder. They even sent some of the things from the order which wasn't picked up when I placed a second order. Thank you Costa

Ordered a cheese and bean toastie and when I bit into it I’ve been given a Cumberland sausage and caramelised onion chutney toastie, it would of been nice to of been told about this as I’m allergic to onions

Considering the size of Durham the fact that this closes at 4pm is ridiculous. Starbucks is open until 7:30, for comparison.

wish i could gice zero. they phoned to sayn they couldnt deliever but they couldnt contact just eat and i had to organise my refund. just eat is saying tbey need to investigate as it says it was delievered but it wasnt. have to wait 3 days for a refund. very unhappy

Costa is my favourite coffee shop but this one was awful. The lady on the door was very curt bordering on rude. Our order took ages even though it was quiet and it was the worst coffee I've had at costa, my husband had a hot chocolate and he wasn't satisfied with his drink either. Think they need to pull their socks up!

Brilliant service will use again!

I went into this Costa to escape the oppressive heat of the independent coffee shops I usually prefer. And I’ll be back! The staff were the most friendly I’ve met in any Costa, they even bring ones heated meals to one’s table. Never happens down south! Plus it’s clean, wasp free, cool, fresh food, a winner all round with outside seating if wanted.
