Wonderful little place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of shopping. Stopped in for a coffee very close to closing time and the staff were still so friendly and helpful, polite and kind. Cannot express how lovely it was. Well done to the staff who were on, and thank you!

Visited Costa today while shopping Such a lovely welcome from the guys.Service with a smile and friendly, nothing was to much for them taking time to explain the different drinks. I had Popcorn Frappe which was so cool and refreshing and just couldn't resist the Popcorn cake.A wonderful coffee shop will be definitely visit again Thanks 😊

was pleasantly surprised with the variety of cakes, there was so many to chose from. they staff were very kind and welcoming and helped me in choosing which one to try and so i ended up having two as i couldn't decide, lovely atmosphere to relax in and enjoy a break from shopping.

I simply couldn't find the coffee shop. It is supposed to be located in tesco extra, but you don't see it from outside.

Costa has been going downhill since it reopened post-pandemic. Cakes have mostly disappeared - just muffins and tray bakes left, and they're smaller than they used to be. On my last visit to the one in Tesco, tea and Americano coffee were unavailable because the boiler had broken. This just isn't acceptable. I feel sorry for the staff, who are unfailingly polite and capable, but if you can't get coffee in a coffee shop, what's the point?

Love their drinks just a shame they're so expensive

While the food and drinks are lovely, whoever management is here thinks it’s acceptable to leave one barista on her own in a full caffe with no ability to be able to leave to go on her break as it means she would have to close the cafe

Came to Costa for a coffee and cake as we do most weekends in various locations. Ordered extra hot skinny lattes which were tepid…the Rasberry and almond slice was far from fresh so returned to the counter where I was left standing whilst a supervisor was sought who came out and deliberated over paperwork to establish when the cake was put out…eventually agreed to give me another piece of cake from the furthest away end of the tray….I’m not hard up for a £2.00 piece of cake which by the way was only bitten into one end…please have respect for your customers enjoyment of their trip to your establishment without the third degree…I mearly advised for your own benefit as I am sure that you pride yourself in good food and service….oh and by the way the cutlery provided was filthy…a huge fail to this particular Costa an unfortunately will certainly not visit this one again…sorry 😢

I came into costa today with my friend and she asked for a caramel latte as a takeaway, the girl on the till kept asking her questions she already answered, they finally started doing her drink and the girl dong the drink started doing it as a eat in, not takeaway like she asked so we told her and she rolled her eyes and chucked the drink in the takeaway cup spilling it everywhere, including all over the cup and slammed the cup in-front of her. This lady was rude, disrespectful and looked off putting to customers. Both times i have visited here now i have had a bad experience. I will not be returning, the woman should be sacked for the service she gave today. Disgraceful

Good coffee, friendly staff, always busy.

This was my second visit and I found it to be fairly good. I had a toasted sandwich and coffee. Average Costa fayre. Decent staff and cleanliness good.

Talk about waiting a lifetime. no urgency and only 2 people serving with a que of 12 people. Come on guys I don't normally have this issue in other costs. I have wrote this and not even moved one step forward!

Met some friends for early morning coffee. Service was good coffee was good. Lots of noise so difficult to communicate. Amenities were clean.

Served by the rudest man I have ever come across today in Lichfield Tesco branch of Costa. Luckily, the manageress came over to apologise on his behalf. Won’t be hurrying back but the manageress was lovely (and equally mortified!)

The branch is inside Tesco so opening times generally fall in line with the store times. Pleasant staff and usual standard of coffee. Bacon sandwiches are also nice. Plenty of free parking for up to 3 hours.

The coffee was of a poor quality, looked like mud, not as hot as you would expect, very expensive for what it is, staff not atenttative more chatting with each other than customers, not a return anticipated

Called in today for my favourite a decaf coffee with almond milk such a pity though have such a small selection for gluten free

For some people shopping is a wonderous adventure. They are happy to meander the aisles of Tesco in search of tasty food and drink. For those mere mortals, to whom the cacophony of retail is an anathema the fact that there is a branch of Costa in this store is like the oasis to the parched man. The seating area has just been refurbished and is not badly done for a cafe that is intrinsically a mezzanine platform at the back of the super-market. The glass balcony does afford quality views of the zombie masses below. I go first thing in the morning and consume strong coffee. There are a gaggle of us who grunt and nod at around 7-30 or so. Unbridled joy is kept to a minimum although I understand that by 9 or so there is a steady stream of mums and toddlers. Staff are fab and always have a good sense of rapport. It is a shame that you can't just buy and drink at the counter. Coffee is basically Costa-fare but they do it well here and for an instore branch (not a franchise) it has the feels of a proper coffee shop rather than the impersonality of a drive-thru. Would recommend highly. Great staff, decent prices and hot coffee.

Called in today for a swift lunch, we were running rather late for this. Understandably much of the savoury food had been purchased but a few meal deal toasties were till there.Asking the assistant about the meal deal available, a whole combination of items were listed as being available. Being efficient, the assistant was now on top form and in full flow, speaking so quickly that her speech could not be understood. Explaining my difficulty with understanding her, I did feel a marginal anagraphical edge had entered the conversation? Hoping to be helpful and move the order on, I was asked to pay before all required drinks had been ordered. By the time we had got this little matter cleared, payment made, the toasties were being brought from behind the counter by another assistant - before I had reached the seating area, let alone the table!Fortunately other family members were there to receive the food. As usual with Costa, their standard food was lovely. No paper serviettes were available, but being necessary with toasties, I did try find some near the sugar, etc. The counter staff were very alert to this and immediately handed some over to me - thank you. Could they be available with the sugar?Now you try visit a Costa and resist the seasonal mince pie - major superb!!!

Located inside tesco, on second floor right at the corner. Access by lift or stairs. Small place but quite nice to chill out there. Don’t get too busy.

The coffee shop is a great place to get coffee and teas but my gripe with the Costa in-store would be when they decide to close early people go thinking it's open till 8 apart from Sunday but we have been in the week when they have closed at half seven half an hour early which if your coming from burntwood you have a wasted journey so bear in mind if your coming with an hour till closing there are times when you won't get a coffee at all here as they are closed
