Costa Coffee in Redbridge

I ordered 2 hot drinks and then got just one because she didn't took notice and untill my family finished their coffee ,I was still on the line ,waiting for my latte. 😬

Friendly staff, lovely service. It’s my to go place on my day off or with my other half when we off together. We come here regularly. The Spanish lattes your barista made us was excellent. Thank you and see you again soon.

Only coffee delivered no cake no tiffin

The coffee was hot but the food was warm/cold.

Hot and delicious, driver was very polite and patient.

I have been to this branch of Costa like 3 times I like the customer service and ambience but the coffee doesn’t really hit the spot

Today's order wasn't up to Costa's usual high standard, delivery was slow, food was cold and unappetising, very disappointed in this order today :-(. I know you can do better Costa!

A lot of the drinks on the menu are not available like cappuccino , latte , chai latte and hot chocolate . I’m not sure if there is an error but could you please update this so I can order ? Thank you

Cute little Costa shop on barkingside high street. I like to visit when it's very early for my morning coffee fix Tip if you don't feel like paying for parking just to have coffee sit near the window to watch out for the traffic wardens..

Staff are really rude and feel like they own the shop and they don’t know what menu they sell until we insist which was strange and they speak their own language infront of customers which makes us uncomfortable around .hope manager find this review and make some changes .

The other day I visited my local Costa Coffee after many years. The food and drinks did not disappoint, I had a flat white to takeaway. It was made delicious but the prices have gone up so much in Costa now. They put the price up for everything. The sandwich fridge was a joke, it all starts at around £5. When I went it was not that busy but I was disappointed in the staff, there is no diversity in this store whatsoever. Some can’t speak English fluently and they all speak their own language to each other making us customers uncomfortable and think if they’re speaking about us or something else. The store is awfully dark. There is not much natural light inside and the interior is so outdated, it’s still the same after many years. I expected better visiting after 3 years! The only thing that saves this store is the good quality of drinks.

A very nice place to relax and, have your coffee or hot drink with a sandwich or whatever your choice of food.... Lovely staff.

Every time I order the cake or muffins are unavailable so not so good. When wanting to enjoy a coffee and a treat. In the past they have missed items of the order. Shame as it's my local and I've ordered from Ilford to get everything I wanted.

The order arrived completely different

Poor and toilets not clean. I did post on here but got deleted. Unfortunately everyone has the right to say if they got a good service and if you have an allergy, they should be marking the cup so you know you don’t have to double check and asked twice. No manager on a very busy Saturday. I will be emailing the area manager about this issue

Delicious coffee, but the seating area was in need of some love (it was a bit worn out and not too comfortable).

The Latte and the Cappuccino were fine but the Cortado cup was too small for the cup holder and it had fallen over. Most of it had poured out into the bottom of the bag, barely any left in the cup. And before anyone says anything about the size of a Cortado, I am well aware of its size.

What these guys are doing does not comply with any health and safety regulations. They literally left their basket with floor cleaner chemicals. We are regular customers with two infants. As it's visible from the video the basket is literally next to our table. We had to use one of the buggies to obstruct the path to the basket. That's very unresponsive staff behaviour. It's not something that happens for the first time. I really hope this review will be seen from a manager and the necessary precautions will be taken. Otherwise I will send my photos and videos to HSE.

The place is cozy.. And i loved it.

This review is after being there more than 3 times. Clean, Efficient service. Quality of coffee depends on the person preparing the coffee. Sometimes the coffee is good and sometimes 😭 ... Maybe also depends on the time you visit the place ... Overall I am a big fan of Costa ... Prefer that to Starbucks ... But, not when the quality of coffee is so different at different places and on time of day ... Overall 3 stars ... After being here more than 10 times in the last 1 year. I have to revise my ratings to 5 star. The coffee still is dependent on the Barista making it. But, in the last 1 year. I have seen that the Barista are getting better. The taste of coffee is also much cleaner. The service quality has increased manifolds. The service is now faster, better and more efficient. And I can tell that as my family now wants to go there once or twice a month. And they didn't want to even go there 1 year back.

Popular high street café. Plenty of staff, who seem to be kept busy. Can occasionally be a bit of queue (but no worse than other Costas, locally, and better than some).

Ordered 2 almond croissant. I got just plain ones. This is the 3 rd time. Wont be ordering from here again.

This is the third time Costa has sent an order without checking the security of the order. Coffee cup was half closed and leaked all over the drivers bag. The chocolate twist was substituted for a croissant, which I don't like. And when I called to explain the situation, they hung up the phone rudely. The service has fallen dramatically. I will be taking this matter further.

Downgraded item quality as for the second day in a row the crisps (sea salt and vinegar) were stale, maybe it's a bad batch I don't know but frustrating.

Can’t go wrong with this local costa. Good staff and great menu. Can get busy at times so can take a little longer so order with app if you can.

It's OK. The oat and soya milk are not unsweetened which doesn't help diabetics.

Very fast service with multiple friendly staff. Toilets are available in the store as well if needed. A good selection of different types of food.

Order a large latte extra shot, received latte in a large cup, except it had only been filled to the edge of the T on the side. Never mind an extra shot, the first shot would have been nice. Haven't had hot milk in years. Very disappointed. Also ordered 2 cold drinks, they put the drinks in 2 bags, one containing the hot drink and a cold, then the other bag containing just the cold, brain of Britain they are not!

Every time I order from Costa the hot drinks are always spilt all over the bag.. Don’t bother you’ll only receive 1/2 a cup of coffee and soggy cake!

Wrong item of food sent, ordered a toastie received a panini which was cheaper! Missing the kit kat bunnies, again!

Costa Café, is like my Spiritual Home. Sometimes, this ( Zen-like, state of mind. Gets, interrupted.) When it is busy, I understand that maintaining clean tables can be, tasking. At the time I was there ...it wasn't as busy. I asked a member of staff for their cleaning materials, for me to clean my table? The staff member, cleaned my table for me. I was annoyed by the smell of cigarette smoke wafting in, from outside, seating area, into the seating area, inside. This was due to the front door being left open, I asked a member of staff, if I could close it? I was granted my wish. When it was closed, It got hotter inside the seating area. And it started to feel like a sauna, for me. I opened the front door. The second thing that happened to me on that day was. A young lady, brought her dog inside, to greet her grandmother, who was waiting to use the facility. Her dog, was on, one of those, cassette leads. And she lets her dog, roam around with the lead extending... Her dog, jumped, on the space next to me, and started (((GROWLING.))) I DIDN'T LIKE THIS... She apologised, ....it felt insincere. This was, one of those stupid behaviours. ....Not everyone likes dogs. I thought...the reason for having a dog, on a lead is: to keep them, next to you? I controlled myself. The staff looked on,...they didn't say anything or do anything.

I love this place. It's my favorite place to go when I want to just get out of the house for some good coffee and a chat with friends. The staff is always friendly and I've never had any issues with them. This is definitely the best coffee shop.

There were items missing from my good abs I have no means to retrieve my money back!!

Food and drinks warm and good quality

Visit the barkingside branch almost daily but very recently they seem to have alot of new staff members who are extremely slow so much so that I have often after 20 mins given up queuing and left. The store needs the old staff back wherever they have gone. Pls come back!

Loved by everyone in the family

Ordered flakes with the hot chocolates, only one flake received. Hot chocolates tasted watery, no flavour at all. Was very disappointed, used to missing flakes, but the drink has never been this weak tasting!
