Costa Coffee in Redbridge

Staff should know there Costa rules and no manger about is poor on a busy Saturday. I would give them a zero. I won’t come in here again. Toilets are poor too.

Delicious coffee, but the seating area was in need of some love (it was a bit worn out and not too comfortable).

Brilliant place to eat and the staff are friendly and hard working,the service is very quick. Truly recommend! ✨🥰🥰🥰

Good service and freshly served .

What these guys are doing does not comply with any health and safety regulations. They literally left their basket with floor cleaner chemicals. We are regular customers with two infants. As it's visible from the video the basket is literally next to our table. We had to use one of the buggies to obstruct the path to the basket. That's very unresponsive staff behaviour. It's not something that happens for the first time. I really hope this review will be seen from a manager and the necessary precautions will be taken. Otherwise I will send my photos and videos to HSE.

This review is after being there more than 3 times. Clean, Efficient service. Quality of coffee depends on the person preparing the coffee. Sometimes the coffee is good and sometimes 😭 ... Maybe also depends on the time you visit the place ... Overall I am a big fan of Costa ... Prefer that to Starbucks ... But, not when the quality of coffee is so different at different places and on time of day ... Overall 3 stars ... After being here more than 10 times in the last 1 year. I have to revise my ratings to 5 star. The coffee still is dependent on the Barista making it. But, in the last 1 year. I have seen that the Barista are getting better. The taste of coffee is also much cleaner. The service quality has increased manifolds. The service is now faster, better and more efficient. And I can tell that as my family now wants to go there once or twice a month. And they didn't want to even go there 1 year back.

Popular high street café. Plenty of staff, who seem to be kept busy. Can occasionally be a bit of queue (but no worse than other Costas, locally, and better than some).

Can’t go wrong with this local costa. Good staff and great menu. Can get busy at times so can take a little longer so order with app if you can.

It's OK. The oat and soya milk are not unsweetened which doesn't help diabetics.

Costa Café, is like my Spiritual Home. Sometimes, this ( Zen-like, state of mind. Gets, interrupted.) When it is busy, I understand that maintaining clean tables can be, tasking. At the time I was there ...it wasn't as busy. I asked a member of staff for their cleaning materials, for me to clean my table? The staff member, cleaned my table for me. I was annoyed by the smell of cigarette smoke wafting in, from outside, seating area, into the seating area, inside. This was due to the front door being left open, I asked a member of staff, if I could close it? I was granted my wish. When it was closed, It got hotter inside the seating area. And it started to feel like a sauna, for me. I opened the front door. The second thing that happened to me on that day was. A young lady, brought her dog inside, to greet her grandmother, who was waiting to use the facility. Her dog, was on, one of those, cassette leads. And she lets her dog, roam around with the lead extending... Her dog, jumped, on the space next to me, and started (((GROWLING.))) I DIDN'T LIKE THIS... She apologised, ....it felt insincere. This was, one of those stupid behaviours. ....Not everyone likes dogs. I thought...the reason for having a dog, on a lead is: to keep them, next to you? I controlled myself. The staff looked on,...they didn't say anything or do anything.

Our coffee taste so good! We love our coffee. I always enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning.

I love this place. It's my favorite place to go when I want to just get out of the house for some good coffee and a chat with friends. The staff is always friendly and I've never had any issues with them. This is definitely the best coffee shop.

Visit the barkingside branch almost daily but very recently they seem to have alot of new staff members who are extremely slow so much so that I have often after 20 mins given up queuing and left. The store needs the old staff back wherever they have gone. Pls come back!

Never had a well made coffee from there, always taste like nothing.

It's very bad service they have no clue about coffee or how to make it .always very slow service ,after four pm They star serving only takeaway and charge full price as in .the lady work Thier her name zinab she was the second times she been very rude and unprofessional whatever . arguing a lot .with customers she like to say her last say. Note :every day new staff.

Rudi has been amazing. Her customer service levels were exceptional and she was so helpful in finding an alternative drink for us! I really appreciate her and this place is so lucky to have her!

We now avoid using this Costa, the staff are so slow, they could do with drinking some coffee to speed up the service! If you order a coffee and toasted sandwich you'll be standing at the counter for 20 mins. Upstairs Costa is alot quicker on service but they're cups smell weird, like wet dog. Get it together Costa, your losing customers.

Costa has always been our safe go to place for a quick drink. The staff are friendly, the food and drink are great. It’s just a really good place to sit and have a chat. My favourite is their emmental and mushroom sandwich and the hot chocolate. Their desserts are nice too. I never have any complaints about costa. It’s always a good experience.

Popped in to get out of the rain and deal with something I needed to write. Staff were so friendly and helpful, as being disabled it is awkward to carry my drink, so they did this for me. Have been back several times since.

The women who work here are an absolute treat to be served by. I was a little intrigued of some of the ingredients in the cakes and they very kindly presented me with the ingredients on the back of the boxes without making any faces or grunts for the excess trouble i was putting them through. They are very smiley which is very nice. I usually come here as I’m a local customer and I can guarantee that everytime I have come here I have received the same good customer service from the staff here. The drinks are always 10/10, the cakes however are sometimes dry which is a shame. For improvement I think it would be nicer if sometimes the girls didn’t come to the forum and start speaking in their language when customers are sitting and trying to enjoy their drinks.

This branch is probably one of the best. The girls are very polite and serve the customers as quick as possible. I highly recommended a visit. Frank Woolf.

This Costa store is expertly run by Alina and her amazing team. They are without exception and most importantly expert baristas. The coffee is consistently high quality and perfectly made without fail. Next the staff are outstanding. Friendly, happy, personable. We are regulars and they treat us like royalty! As for the store itself it was recently extended to double in size with a full refurbishment. Money very well spent as it is comfortable and lots of seating available inside and outside. Always clean too which is great. Scoffs Group who own this store should be very proud. This is coffee and service without fault.

First time I went to Costa Coffee in the Exchange Ilford, after I had paid for my coffee and waited to collect my coffee, I noticed a large number of flies mainly in the area of the cups and where the coffee was made. Landing on the apparatus that the coffee was coming out of, and the cups they were serving to customers. As I looked around this area it was dirty with exposed rubbish and dirty counters, I asked the the lady serving why are there so many flies and got a reply because it's hot! I did stay to drink the coffee from a chipped cup as she had already made my drink. My advise a visit from environmental health is needed this is absolutely appalling representation of Costa Coffee and should be closed down.

Popped in here for a quick cup of coffee. They were attentive & cleaing tables very quickly once someone had left which is unusual Full marks

This location is awful. The staffer cleans and mops like a demon---moving and shuffling chairs, screeching them across the floor every 4 minutes! Poor management. Excessive noise. Anti-reader environment. Terrible!
