Only the hot chocolate for me!! 🥰 They forgot to add my marshmallows and it's not the same now they're using synthetic cream. Bring back the fresh cream 😋.

Went as it opened, lovely warm and friendly staff. Quick service and plenty of space. Enjoyed meeting my friend for a breakfast catch up! Would go again.

My favourite Costa. Lovely atmosphere great range of lunch options. Staff are all lovely. Thanks to Lewis for helping us out today, awesome salted caramel hot chocolate!

A handy place to wait and, grab a bite to eat/drink whilst doing so.

Absolutely horrific. Only 2 members of staff serving..which wasn't their fault. Should've had adequate amount of staff in for the boxing day. Customers queuing to the door. People leaving. Cups, plates and cutlery on nearly every table. I had to tidy and wipe the table myself. Napkins all over the floor. My daughter spent over £20. We wanted to sit in. Got takeaway cups and takeaway sandwich bags. Even though there was cups and plates available. Coffee was luke warm. As I said I don't blame the staff as there was only two members and they have to serve and make meals etc.... costs management at Stockport, you need to be more mindful of your footfall during bank holiday.

Served my take out drinks with a filthy lid from the barista ‘maestros’ mucky chocolate powder covered hands. Watery flat white, clearly they do not conduct regular grind checks in this branch - the espresso was pouring out of the head. Cups and plates left all over tables. Third and last time I’ll be going to this Costa, or any branch. I worked for the company for over 6 years - The standards have clearly dropped since. No more COSTA checks?

Not cheap, but clean and good service. A touch on the small side, so gets busy quickly. Not much room, especially for wheelchairs etc.

The place was extremely busy but the service was good and the staff polite. I also noticed the tables were cleared quickly which is not always the case!

The food was cold due to it being so late. even the coffee was cold.

Extremely kind and amazing staff at this store. I went in an evening and the staff were amazing, and generous.

Really nice environment in this Costa, the big windows flood the building with light, the space is well designed and utilised. The staff were friendly and efficient and the drinks were well made.

Assistant opened the door for me! No queue, so was served straight away!

A car park ain't really the ideal location for a relaxing coffee break! Everything else was rather mediocre.

The chocolate fridge brownie frappe is amazing I always get extra chocolate sauce as it shouldn’t be that nice but it is and I always order the same

Nice little stop before the shopping starts. Most Costas are standard really. The team here seemed really nice on the day I visited. They had a bit of an awkward customer after I was served and they dealt with the person a lot more nicer than they deserved.

Nice clean coffee shop and the coffee was the usual Costa standard so very good. Unfortunately I was served by a rather rude young man called andes. I found him blunt and he frustrated me when I asked if the drink was my cappuccino. Not the service I usually get at this Costa was dissapointeed.

One of the coffees was less than half full. The egg and spinach roll was soggy and inedible. Disappointing waste of money.

I’ve been visiting this costa since a long time as a member and have had great experience everytime but today I have to say my experience was ruined big time. I went ahead and ordered a orange raspberry Victoria sponge and the portion that I got was very very small I mean while looking from the customer’s side the slice looked fair but the one that was served was very small so I asked the barista if he could exchange it for which he said all slices were equal and he can’t change it for me. He explained me how they used to cut the cake in 12 slices earlier and now they make 14 slices of the same sized cake now this is something that I can’t talk about since it’s Costa’s policy but I think my experience could have improved if he’d had just offered me other slice. I don’t know the serving standards here but this is how it was served as well.

Honestly one of the best coffee shop experiences I have had. Went in with my little girl and the staff were phenomenal with her. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Place was clean and tidy. Lovely environment, brilliant service, fantastic staff

Went to Costa for a latte and got to admit it was the worst on I have had for a long time. Normally I enjoy my coffee from Costa but not this one

£4.75 for a take away Flat White (oat milk. The service is really slow, like very. For a big coffee chain knocking out sub-par coffee it is probably slowest I’ve seen. The tables are usually a big grubby. And on top of all that, they’ve increased the prices of already mega marked up drinks - a takeaway flat white with oat will now cost you £4.75. Ridiculous. Round the corner there is a little independent that offers better for far less.

When you sit nobody will bother to come the dirty table and remove previous customers cups or plates The toilets there are the FILTHIEST ones I have seen in Manchester in years!

Great service. Imogen was very kind and makes the best warm milkshakes ever. Tried a salted caramel one today and tasted amazing. Imogen was kind and helpful. Best barista ever!!!

El chico que nos atendió fue muy arrogante y cuándo le pedimos 2 cafés tamaño mediano nos lo puso pequeño! Le dije que esa no era el tamaño que pedí pero él decía que si... Soy clienta habitual de Costa coffee y sé perfectamente cual es el café mediano, También se le olvidó ponernos cuchillos y nos dio muy poca mantequilla para las tostadas, definitivamente no volveré más a este lugar, iré a otro costa coffee.

Friendly and clean lovley food and drinks to perfection

Ordered the new hazel hot chocolate drink, specifically ordered for sit in, they gave it to me in a takeaway cup. I asked if they could give me in a sit in cup, aka the glass cups, they took the takeaway cup back and poured the hot chocolate into a sit in cup. Which is fine if they did it right. The cream on it went crazy and the overall looks of it was very unsatisfactory. I did not enjoy my experience i m afraid. The environment is not friendly. As shown in the picture empty cups are everywhere. I would not try another coffee/drink at this branch unless i have to again because of a meeting. It’s worth nothing that these small things impact visitors and their level of satisfaction. If i ever have to come back, i hope these comments help the staff and managers reach another step in their services, and that i find the place better.

Found out the price of the coffee rises according to the hourly pay at different sites. What a cheek! The airport is the most expensive obs.0

Not sure if the open times need adjusting on the web or if staff just don’t show up for the open. Been here twice at around 9:00am with doors locked and no staff to be seen

Visited Sunday for coffee and cake. Found the floor covered in spilt food and table piled high with used cups and plates. Served with the worst coffee we have ever had, it was like hot milk took them back and was told nothing wrong with the drinks and they have two shots, you will have to pay for another shot. I asked for the manager and was told we don't have one in an off hand manner. If you like coffee Avoid.

Jordan “aparently store manager” I have never come across a RUDER member of staff ever Actually lost my ticket for my drink so was making other customers drinks that was served after me, when i questioned why he lied & another staff member admitted the ticket got lost, then tried to push my drink off the counter with a tray, very strange behaviour by a STORE MANAGER

Long queue but awesome coffee...very worth the queue

NOT FREE PARKING! Stopped here on a work trip with a colleague in separate cars and neither of us noticed the small signs stating this is a pay & display car park. This is a retail area with Hobbycraft, TK Maxx etc. so we weren't expecting a parking charge. £120 in parking 'fines' later - will avoid next time in this area.

Costa is my go to coffee shop. Love the coffee and the food. The staff are usually very busy but always polite.

Long wait, Cold coffee, everywhere needs a good clean

Well we're do I being there was 2 people on doing there vest we waited 15 mins before we got from paying to getting our drinks was not happy at all

This place is understaffed and is like a youth club, tables not cleared and cleaned and workspaces untidy. Must do better!

Terribly dirty (the toilet also smells bad and the tables were sticky.. I have no words for the floor).. Empty, but three people are sitting and talking..they have not washed cups and serve cardboard ones.They make coffee so slowly that the first one is already cold while do the third. Apparently their manager needs to be changed or do work 🤔

Lovely young lady Imogen who served me and a friend, excellent customer service, will definitely be going back.

Bustling coffee shop and friendly staff

One of the nicest Costas I've been to, very open and bright. Tends to be understaffed with how busy it can get but team members are still very polite and helpful. Sometimes the wait time is quite long but the quality of the food and drinks make up for it. The only Costa I'm happy to come to.

Enjoyed hot chocolate and muffins while sheltering from the rain!

On 8th April, at 4:55pm, we were served by a really helpful and lovely member of staff. We waited quietly and politely while she prepared our coffees, and served them to us, and then we immediately headed for the door to leave the shop. Please arrange for her to be promoted to replace the short, mean, rude, harridan who was ‘encouraging’ the handful of customers to leave the shop by shouting at them. This one should never be allowed to be in any customer-facing role. They would be better deployed in an abattoir, screaming instructions at the cattle on death row; or perhaps teaching the use of Tazers to white American police officers. Thank you for the coffee and snacks, the Möbius lesson in kindness to complete strangers, and a reminder of the inherent duality of human existence.

Probably the worst Costa been for a while, tables dirty, staff didn't engage with customers and toilets not clean, also disabled toilet alarm was wrapped round a handle and not connected. So if they needed assistance they wouldn't be able to get anyone..

Good service and very nice cup sizes for large drinks. A good selection of desserts and a wheelchair accessible toilet. Very polite staff and good sitting tables inside and outside

It was really busy today and they had 2 staff in training. The main member of staff called Tom was dealing with it all amazingly. He was polite, friendly and maintained a positive attitude even with the stress of a busy day. All staff were lovely and are a credit to the Costa brand. I hope they all get some well deserved rest tonight. Highly recommend coming here, lovely and welcoming atmosphere with wonderful staff. Drinks were great too!

This costa coffee shop never open in time very day open late and not good service very very bad and slow

The food was good, coffee was nice and staff seemed OK but unfortunately we needed the loo. One was out of order and the other looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned in several months. It wasn't just "used" it wa filthy. Made us wary of the food after witnessing that. Personally, I'd rather pay 20p extra for the coffee and have a clean place

Bought some coffee pod for my tassimo on the shelf the price was £5.29 sat down with my wife and had coffee checked the recipe and I had been charged £5.75 went to the counter and asked why this was young girl said they don't tell us when they have changed the price of things and then she proceeds to serve the next customer no apology I was disappointed a complaint going to head office I think

God overall, service and place, just tables no clean. Maybe they are busy at times and do not come out often

Costa Coffee Peel Centre, Stockport. Diabolical service!!! 4 staff members and only 1 working while 2 disappeared into the back of the shop for 10 minutes even though the shop was full with huge queue!! During our wait to be served the staff managed to burn customer sandwiches, forgot to put customers food into the ovens while they waited for 20 mins, no apology for wait and got several customer orders wrong!! I asked why the staff were not doing their jobs and was told they had been buzzed on several occasions but did not respond!! They should be sacked!! Lazy, ignorant individuals!!!! Shame I couldn’t give zero stars!!

Visited today Costa coffee at the peel centre Stockport and the place was absolutely filthy won't be going again the toilet was disgusting I would not like to have to take children in my there

Nice coffee, but service is becoming awfully slow. 20 mins for a coffee? With hardly any queue. Just painful, slow, excruciating almost agonising service.... And who really redecorated this shop? An 8 years old? It highly resembles NHS waiting areas. I guess given the time you have to wait for a coffee...

Absolutely filthy place, went in just after opening, the fabric chairs are disgustingly stained, the floor looked like it hadn’t been mopped in weeks maybe months, if these are the bits you can see I dread to think what goes on in the back.
