I quite often go here for a good catch up over a nice large Latte. The staff are always polite and the place is clean and quiet. Perfect for conversation

It could be really nice and I'm sure they'd get more loyal customers if it was. Staff usually have a gob on, and can't be arsed, no personal touches, not even a 'hello' and 'thank you' from the girl serving me on this visit. Genuinely felt like having a word with her to at least look like she wanted to work there. Tables were untidy with dishes and empty cups. There's always a staff member (presumably manager) sat by the toilet working on a laptop. They need to lift their head up and look around the store at what needs doing. Stronger leadership needed and could be a lovely little venue

Good covid measures and very good service

The staff work really hard here and are really nice and attentive. The drive through staff are pleasant and friendly too. Atmosphere is nice and it's always nice and clean. Last time I was there some of the armchairs were threadbare on the arms, which detracts a little from an otherwise good place to meet.

Since when have there been parking charges for here. I always have coffee with friends and i have recently been hit with a parking charge of £100

Just your average Costa... Nothing wrong with it

Great drinks and food , not very wheelchair accessible as high chairs are stacked up outside the disabled toilets making it quite hard to get to the toilet in a wheelchair luckily I had a friend with me to move the highchairs out the way but would have been very hard if I was on my own other than that absolutely love it here.

We just had a quick tea and coffee with a chocolate muffin and pecan slice with our granddaughter. Quick, efficient service . Friendly staff . All very clean .

Lovely it was my second visit here I usually go.to the one in church square I know everyone there can recommend nothing beats a hot chocolate 🫕

The best service you will ever find anywhere. They serve you with such speed that it's impossible not to be impressed. Costa as an organisation aren't great, but the people who work in this Costa are amazing 👏 👌

It's Costa, init. Staff like to build obstacle courses a couple hours before closing. Probably to try keep some areas tidy, however it just creates a trip hazard when it is the only way out the shop, without going back the wrong way through the queue! Perfect 5*'s if you're into CrossFit or similar though. Have that coffee burnt off in no time with their course.

Great place for a catch up with friends, service was excellent and so was food, 3 hour limit on carpark very good so there is no rush to leave! Unlike Starbucks at windle island where you only get 1 hour!! Will be back soon at costa

Plenty of seating space and always a pleasant atmosphere. Lots of parking space.

1st time using this Costa in St Helen's. Wasn't to overcrowded, friendly staff and speedy service. Tables was all clean inside and same on outside seating area. To say it's a small unit it had 3 toilets 1 being disabled access, pleasantly surprised as bigger Costa stores I frequently use only have 1 or 2 very small toilets. Will definitely call in again when I'm near there.

You need to update your closing time. I was there at 8:20 and you were closed, despite it saying clearly on the door you close at 9:00

Good service, good coffee & atmosphere. Can't rate the food as I didn't eat in the establishment, less busy than the other coffee shop in the centre of the town centre which is a bonus. Would recommend.

Nice place to stop off for a drink after shopping. Can get busy on weekends but nice and clean.

Weekly visitor when doing my weekly shop the staff are lovely always happy to help.... Toilets are mostly clean obviously depends on what animal uses it before you but the staff do keep on top of them.... My only pet peev is that it could do with some new furniture it's looking a little worse for wear now

Great place to meet friends, even when it's busy there's usually always a seat available. Staff have always been fab and drinks are made to a good standard both sit in and take away.

This is quite a small Costa considering it is in the centre of St. Helens. Although we visited during the week we still struggle for a seat. The coffee was good as normal and the food was equally good. Really friend staff that made the visit. Overall it was a pleasant visit, although a little crowded...

Very kind and welcoming staff. I'm always welcomed with a smile and a genuine greeting. When I explained my deafness to the staff they were very kind and once they were made aware of this they really made an effort to communicate with me despite the obvious mask issues owing to covid. It is nice to be treated in such a way were upon you do not feel like a hindrance, and you are made to feel as welcome and as accepted as everyone else. 💜🙏

Quite busy but service was prompt with only short waiting times

My husband ordered me a decaf almond cappuccino about 6:30pm last night from the drive thru. I have a medical condition hence the reason for decaf. I drank the coffee only to start with palpitations about 30 minutes later. I was awake until almost 3 this morning and then awake at 5:30. Have tried to call the number but it says its incorrect. This is totally dangerous as was clearly given caffeine when decaf was ordered.

Excellent service and friendly staff as usual for Costa. Very clean with tables cleared quickly. Would have been 5 stars, but the sandwich selection was very limited, with more empty space than sandwiches, including the lack of the sandwich I wanted.

After them changing to the new bean system when I get my drinks I was told I get so many toppings with my drinks and I order them with my drink and yet still nothing on or even in my drink and tried to call them to ask what had gone on to be ignored on the phone. This is the 3rd time they have mucked my drinks up. Won’t me going here again

I have used both drive thru and sat in. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming. Place is lovely and clean. Really love all the drinks and snacks, I also have the reward card. I know some people don't like chains but I feel like costa have got it right, especially this branch.
