Costa Coffee in Manchester

Tried the new maple latte this morning, was super good and the guy at the front was super cool :)

Need to fix the squeaky door, opens every 10 seconds really annoying to sit in and listen to

The waiter “ellit” was too rude with us she was shouting on my face and i told her relax and she didn’t service us then she fired us from the coffee with out any reason

The accountant, whose name is Ellit, was racist because we are Arabs. She did not serve us and kicked us out without reason.

The closest cafe near the TLS Visa centre. It is comfortable to take a rest when waiting for the booked slot.

Went in for coffee and a sandwich! Great, friendly, personal service! John made us a fantastic giant hot chocolate with sprinkles! Thank you! :)

Travelled 4.5 hours from Edinburgh to Manchester. My daughter had a painful tummy and before ordering drinks I asked if she could go to the bathroom - explaining her pain. There was a trainer Barrista kn the floor saying she couldn’t use the toilet as it was for customers only, I explained I’d be ordering but she was not helpful. I then asked the Barrista behind the counter if my daughter could go to the toilet as I would bee ordering again I was told a code is only produced once the order is made. After ordering and my daughter going to the toilet took this up with the Barrista explaining that I know for a fact that businesses allow people to use the toilet if they have health conditions - she then said I should have told her that (which I did). I was basically lied too she then said in the area they have alot of basically chavs / drug users coming in trying to use the toilets ! I explained and asked if I looked like one ! (Oops no I’m a lawyer !) In then asked the trainee barista why she said my daughter couldn’t use the toilet ! She said it was company policy ! I explain I spend thousands with Costa and have friends and good relationships with management in Edinburgh ! To cut a long story short the behaviour of the trainee barista was disgusting she actually acted like a chav and the type of person who would be barred from a decent coffee shop. Formal complaint being made to Phillipee Costa’s CEO. I’d advise some basic customer service training to the trainee barrista!

Friend asked for a white hot chocolate and got a coffee then had to wait around for it to be redone. Table had not been cleaned. Location was convenient and drinks were ultimately great as you would expect.

Many advertisements of food and drink outside the shop and inside the shop that when I asked for they didn’t have any of it. They only had around 3 options on the cold drink menu.

There was a bit of a rush as I arrived. But the Manager seemed to relish it, giving out a lot of positive energy 👍 Lovely brown toast and bucket of skinny latte. Just a shame about the heavily stained seating. People!

My friends and I ordered 4 cups of coffee but we had our own croissants and one of the staff said you can't eat inside, while out side was cold, in my opinion, this behaviour with a customer is so annoying, if something is a policy in the company you need to put on walls .

The staff didn’t allowed us to eat our own cookies here despite that we ordered coffee, we had to went out to eat our cookies with the coffee. It was a disappointing customer service.

John was absolutely delightful and gave amazing costumer service - even gave me and my mum free cake for our birthday! 100% recommend

There are plenty of Costa Coffee's in Manchester city centre and this is a very good one.the staff are very nice and helpful.the coffer was reasonably priced and tasted good.the store was clean and well presented.it is located on the corner of Portland Street and London Road close to public transport and the shops.it has easy access for the disabled.

Quiet environment to come with your computer to work or study, even to simply have a coffee, I recommend it.

Comfortable cafe with decent coffee. Highly recommend the costa app. Collect beans for free coffee. Use the reusable cups for double the beans. It would be great if customers were encouraged to use reusable cups, especially for having in.

They're not taking scottish pounds!!!!!Apparently many people tried to pay with faked ones. But they should check it, you don't have any rights not to take my real money just out of a measure and I am not obliged to pay by card either. I asked the young lady as a joke, if she takes northern irish pounds. She said whatever that is I am not taking it , strangely in a confident way. I don't think that should be the attitude towards customer. She also claimed that other branches don't take them as well. Well I just paid with scottish banknotes in Manchsster Airport Terminal 3...

First time visiting this branch in Portland Street. Very spacious, busy but clean. Friendly and welcoming staff. I went to claim my birthday treat which was Lemon and Blueberry Ripple cake to takeout. It was delicious and the sweetness was perfect. Thank you for the birthday treat. Will visit again shortly for a proper tea break.

Asked for small latte was served a regular. Asked to stay in. Was given papercup to take out ?. I was the only person being served and the shop virtually empty . How can you get a simple order wrong,?

I asked for a medium americano and I saw the girl put an espresso in a cup of water... So that would be an americano? I did not complain just because I have autism and anxiety disorders.

Came in 10/08/2022 around 3:30pm to get a Costa with my two friends. The lady with blonde hair serving us (I didn’t catch her name) was so polite, friendly and really made us feel welcomed and comfortable even though we were only there for a short while. I want to say thank you to her for adding more joy to our girly trip to Manchester 🥰

Well the coffee was fast and so delicious! But the one problem was that their credit card reader was broken but I think it might be working in one or two days I guess it was my luck!😅

Standard Costa coffee close to piccadilly Gardens. There is one at the other end of piccadilly Gardens aswell. Neither have an outdoor area which is shame. This one however has a work pod, if anyone needs a private work space. I personally would find it claustrophobic but it would definitely suit others.

Would not go this Costa in Manchester again, coffee ok nothing to go back for and toastie falling apart not sealed correctly, no knife or paper napkin with toastie had to ask for them. Yep not a good coffee break before catching the train home.

Adore Costa but the prices are getting abit silly so I've had to cut down which makes me sad because I love all costas, the staff are brilliant 💖 thankyou to all shop workers because it is a hard job no matter what your title is 👍😊🌹😻💕💖

Staff are very friendly and the Hot Chocolate with whipped cream/marshmallows was amazing.

be a more staff on clear up, 11 tables in usable, even customers were clearing the tables and putting them all together. Staff need to more friendlier when customers are talking. Apart from that service was good, drinks were warm, normal Costa Coffee.
