Costa Coffee in Huntingdonshire

We only called in for 2 Coffees and it was extremely busy with a very long queue. However despite having at least 10-12 drinks orders to complete our Barista Olivia did this swift and efficiently keeping a cool head to clear the backlog of orders. I did thank her personally at the time. Service with a smile 😊

Disorganised staff. VERY long wait to be served. Untidy surroundings. No prices shown, for fresh cakes & pastries displayed in the cabinet

I prefer Starbucks but Costa ok

Stopped on the way home from a day out and was served by the friendliest batista, I wish I caught his name! One of our drinks was a mocha made with coconut milk and he reccomened a vanilla latte with coconut milk which I will have to try next time! The batista really made our day, thank you! :)

Just so expensive, it's mad how they charge more for the coffee yet its not as good as greggs

This Costa is a reliable and quick branch perfectly placed at the heart of Peterborough services. It's not remarkable in terms of seating, but there are quite a few options considering many people use it as a take-out space between driving to other places. The seating area is also enclosed so you don't feel like you're in the middle of the 'dome of noise' this service station is known for. Would recommend! Plenty of parking, prompt service, consistent coffee.

One of the better service station costas, reasonably speedy service. Just shame reduced the seats and no plugs for laptops

Reasonable atmosphere, and has an outdoor section which could be good in Summer. Can get very busy during peak times.

Lots of staff but slow on serving. Food and drink were excellent.

Fantastic customer service every time I go in, the staff deal with the queues and customers very well, the shop floor is always clean, the fridges and shelves are always well stocked and plenty of variety of food and the coffee and other drinks are always fantastic. I don’t mind paying a little bit extra for the service I receive at this particular Costa.

The tables needed clearing and wiped down. Our tuna melts weren't hot enough. The trays were stained and disgusting. They should be cleaned on both sides.

Prices are more expensive than usual Costa coffee shops but the coffee was excellent. Could do with one or two members of staff though, as there was a wait of about 5-10 minutes to be served on a Friday morning at about 11 AM. There were only 3 staff working at the time.

Got to use my free cuppa's, girl serving was really nice and helpful.

Usual Costa Coffee place but a very long queue. Staff were doing a valiant job dealing with it. Coffee was good but prices were higher than usual ie in the High Street.

More expensive than ordinary Costa and with long queues at times but that's what you expect at Motorway Services. On the other hand good coffee and more importantly great service.

Excellent range of coffee and other drinks. Also has a great selection of cakes, cookies and other delicacies. Definitely recommend for a visit.

Sandwich choice is still disappointing but sweet selection continues to grow.

Coffee was good but surroundings seemed quite shabby

Very poor. You need to correctly advertise opening hours. Listed as 24 hours we made a special trip with my daughter (to assist with her mental health) only to find it closed. This caused constination and difficulties. Not impressed. Not difficult publish accurate opening hours.

Not very pleasant staff, arrogant and unprofessional. Good quality food, as expected, so would still recommend.

Very rude staff members on more then a few occasions. Looks to me as they don’t want be there. Rarely greet you with a smile.

Costa Coffee is a nice cafe to go in if you fancy a nice hot or warm drink. They do all different drinks including sizes + if you have a Costa Coffee Card you can earn points on every drink you purchase & if you have a smart phone you can scan the Costa Coffee App & see how many points you have earned. There is also a different way of earning points on the Costa Coffee App & that is if you ever go to a Costa Express Machine that can be found in places like Petrol Stations & Various Supermarkets

Great place to stop for a quick coffee.

Been to this Costa a few times. The first time I ordered a hazelnut praline hot chocolate, they had no cream (which was fine) but when I took my drink and returned to the car I found they had instead given me a coffee. The queue was too long for me to go back in and complain. This time I queued for over 10 minutes and once I got to the from I was told (by a barrista with a bit of an attitude) that the had no hot chocolate whatsoever. Small problems but I've never had a good experience

Brilliant service very organised and very helpful freindly staff

Not good. Visited 25th Oct around 8pm and it was disgusting. Empty wrappers on the floor behind counter and barrister's section, counters were dirty. Staff slow and swearing at each other. Very unimpressed by this one, letting down the brand.

Slow, took about 15 - 20 minutes just to get served, the take away coffee counter outside served at least twice as many people in the same time!

Of all the venues here at service station. This is the o oy venue that's inflated prices... I do like costa. But will use that just local to me

No big cups, waited 20minutes for a coffee when the staff were just making drinks for themselves. Then asked me to wait a further 10minutes. Then said I'll have to wait until they have time to do my refund. Shocking.

Tried to use the takeaway gave up very slow asked for refund supervisor unable to access till. Got refund went to adjacent bakery stall severed with similar barista coffee quickly and efficiently. Sad to say costa staff British other store not. The Q at the indoor costa was worse, they need to look at it's manager as it is run by incompetent staff.

Made "barista" pour coffee again and watched as shot ran clear in about 8 seconds. Empty hopper, not really tamping. Water with a hint of colour. I chucked third attempt away and begrudgingly used Nescafé machine as it clearly had more caffeine in. This is a coffee shop, right???

Can't beat the coffee in Costa especially when I've got a £10 voucher to spend

Good experience, friendly staff, very good coffee. Was impressed with the service. It was quite busy but the team still make a good effort to serve everyone effeciently and friendly.

Had queued at the kiosk as thr actual cafe was busy. The queue took an age to go down then when i was next the girl at the counter told me to go inside because the person in front had ordered 7 drinks; i explained that there were more than 7 people in the queue inside so id just wait, her response 'whatever, it's gonna take me ages though' was just rude. She then proceeded to make each drink (7 small takeaway cappuccinos) separately whilst chatting to another member of costa staff who was just stood at the end of the kiosk not doing anything. Appalling service from a normally near faultless brand. Will not be back here.

Peterborough services has always been very very busy and this always applied to the Costa within but lately it has been quite empty...very strange. Coffee is still good, staff good, furniture a bit tatty

The shop is clean and staff attentive but I have no idea what they had done to the medium latte, it was awful 🤔

Flies were crawling over all the cakes. Dirty cups and cutlery were left on the side behind the counter. The preparation area obviously hadn't been cleaned for a while and was littered with crumbs, food and drink spills. The remnants of the last drink was still in the blender and flies were crawling in and out of it. Finally the bin was filled to the top. The staff were nice but I won't be going again. Fortunately there are lots of other locations on the same site that are in a much better condition

I walk into the services and have to really think hard where I am because they are all built to the same plan. This includes the Costa coffee shops. Nothing special, nothing great just a place to sit and have a coffee and a break from driving.

Disgusting. Slow service and the tables are filthy. There was some spilt water on my table so I got a napkin to wipe it off. It also took off a layer of ingrained grime. It's quite clear that someone needs to get a hold of this place. Health hazard?
