Costa Coffee in East Dunbartonshire

Disappointed not allowed proper cup to sit outside, paper cup only. Unable to sit inside as had dog with me

Had a lovely coffee and hot chocolate

Usual Costa for food and drink. Where this place falls down is idle staff. The tables were left uncleared whilst the staff chattered. Sorry but no time for this.

Order incorrect - no warning no contact

The delivery driver was soo sweet!!!!

Orders a caramel frappe and got a frappe that just tasted of milk and cream and not of caramel. When asked if I could have a bit more caramel in it I was told by the member of staff I have already put five in it. Great customer service not.

The staff in this place deserve a pay rise. The 'nothing is a problem' attitude is a breath of fresh air. In particular the 2 guys that were serving and cleaning tables, the only thing they didn't do was eat my food for me! So friendly, willing to bring food to the table and even got us extra napkins without being asked, but most of all I watched & listened to them talk to 2 separate customers of retirement age and made them feel welcome and just to ask if they needed anything.

I placed an order from Costa that included two egg sandwiches. However, they were unavailable. A member of staff very kindly tried to contact me twice to ask about suitable replacements but I didn't hear my phone.  When the order was delivered there was a message on the receipt asking me to contact Just Eat customer services for a refund. I did this as soon as I had time. However, I was advised that as I hadn't contacted them within 24 hours I wouldn't receive a refund. This was the first time I used Just Eat and I checked out as a guest. I was unaware I had to contact them within 24 hours. While £7 is not a huge amount of money, it's the principal of being charged for products that weren't provided (especially as this was lunch for an elderly relative I was visiting). Very disappointing service from Just Eat.

Service slow , £ 3-50 for a slice of cake very expensive , plus flies all over cakes not covered and that was sitting in

The staff are excellent, this review does not reflect on them. Have visited 3 times in the last 2 weeks as it's the only place in miles that opens at 7.30am. First time, the till wasn't working so cash only (which I luckily had but saw 5-6 people being turned away). Second time, the coffee machine was broken so no hot drinks at all. Just left. Third time, the dishwasher was broken. Ok, I can use a takeaway cup but there was also a terrible fly infestation, I'm not kidding when I say at least 50, even coming over to where I sat and landing on my drink!! I left again. This store has so much potential but it's chronically under-equipped and poorly managed. Feel sorry for the staff in that environment and no point in me going back!

Went in for a large latte for my son and got my self a bap with sausage, not Malloy the staff here are very good but today the member who serve me, think her name was Nico, was more interested in the people who came in after me and giving them a free coffee than my order. The bap was cooked but left for ages beeping and then came out solid. Hopefully area mangers will look back today and see why other customers were more important than a paying customer.

They were understaffed with no air conditioning. Outside space was small, grubby and dark.

The three baristas working behind the counter at Costa in Strathkelvin Retail Park were amazing. They worked efficiently and professionally. In spite of the very busy pace and "detail-oriented" customers, they were friendly and very courteous. Very impressed!

Good coffee shop, staff pleasant and good selection of cakes.

Every time we have ordered delivery from Costa, we've had missing items. Such a shame as the food is great but generally at least one person goes hungry!!

Ordered tropical mango bubble frappe, I got a tropical mango frappe. ZERO BUBBLES IN SIGHT.

Slowest service I've ever had in any coffee place ever and that's not an exaggeration. It's not even busy and I have been here 14 minutes now...

Customer service in the Milngavie store is EXCEPTIONAL 🥰

Shop Was Empty As Z Funeral Directors

Once again visit a Costa asxthey advertise m&sGf sandwiches and soup but hey they never have it , out of about a dozen visits to different costas I have only been successful twice so massive thumbs down for Costa

Absolutely filthy inside! Food on the tables, floors and chairs. During my visit I never saw any staff make any attempts to clear/clean the tables. Had to wipe mines before I sat down..and I wasn’t the only customer!!

The drinks and food didn’t arrive at all. When checked the Driver was around 15 miles in the wrong direction?

6pm coffee shop empty staff member almost gave me wrong order hot chocolate which I might add should have been hot I literally could have gave to a newborn it was that cold so which meant tasted sour after 2mins this is not 1st time my drink has been Luke warm & smile from staff member would have been nice....

The delivery driver claims he is at the restaurant and says he is there for 25 minutes when he is lying. It is the same delivery driver that does this on a continuous bases and the food always arrives cold. I have contacted the restaurant before and they are also annoyed at him for doing this every time.

Love everything about costa. Bit pricey though.

I ordered a white hot chocolate with whipped cream and paid extra for marshmallows, didn’t get either of those and also my cup was half full. I also ordered a £5 Mac and cheese and it was in a tiny (near empty) box definitely is not worth the price! I usually do like Costa and I hate leaving bad reviews but this one was just not the greatest experience

Can Costa Coffee start improving cleanliness very poor cleaning of tables when I visit this site.and many other Costa Coffee sites the Fort Glasgow very poor. No sign of Covid now too relaxed Hence only 1 star.

I asked for whole milk and the coffee was made with skimmed milk. This isn't the first time this has happened therefore I am now highlighting this!

Delivery was late and food came freezing

Always miss items in ur order wld advise making sure ur staff are at least competent 3 times now wnt be ordering again

There was an item missing from my order.

Staff were very helpful and hygiene was no.1 , all tablets were cleared and cleaned within minutes of customers leaving them , service was speedy but staff still managed to be very professional and polite . There's a massive car park so no problems there either , look forward to visiting again .

The food was fab and coffee was amazing but the driver just left in on the doorstep and the app didn't alert me it was there 🤦🏽‍♀️

Have only recently stopped eating red meat and didn't expect the vegan bac'n bap to taste anywhere near as good as bacon, but it was better.

Kirkintilloch costa very gd service fast efficient only fault could do with bigger cafe as queue nearly out the door but wheel chair friendly , toilets etc.

Person taking orders was way out of her depth did not give the ticket to the guy making the order. poor guy had to ask everyone what there order was. He should get paid more for doing both jobs.

Can get busy at peak times and orders will take a bit longer, has an indoor and outdoor seating area.

Good service generally, unfortunately on my last visit, I didn't notice that the barista gave me the wrong free cake for my birthday gift. Only noticed 15 minutes later in Kirkintilloch, daughter was very happy with the cake! 🤔

This is the second time we haven't received our full order. This time it was hot chocolate. I tried to phone Costa but no one answers the phone,I phoned four time and let the phone ring for five/ten minutes,still no answer. Very disappointed

Ordered and paid for mediums received smalls.

Stuff I ordered tasted great but the driver somehow ended up taking 30 minutes to deliver. The coffee was cold and the iced smoothie had melted entirely

Ordered 6 things and received only 3 - didn’t receive any of the food ordered. Tried to contact by phone many times - with no answer - shocking service - does no one ever check an order before it is dispatched

Every time I order I get a phone call back saying oh we haven't got this would u want something else. Then u get the delivery and its wrong. What's up can't u read the order. Latte extra shot and what do I get an iced latte.

Ordered the spinach, mushroom breakfast roll and got what I think was meant to be a ham and cheese toastie? It was brick hard, cold and had no ham in it. Basically stale bread with a bit of cheese. Absolutely barking, coffee is lovely though

Couldn't get a filter coffee in a coffee shop and with coffee pot on full display was told they don't do filter coffee, my encounter was with the genius staff. It also seemed dirty and untidy. Not a recommended coffee spot from me

Working from home has meant missing out on Costa trips, so happy it's on JustEat. Delivery really good, and very covid safe.

Nice place to go with decent seating inside and out. Nothing particularly special though.

I have no issues with Costa quality etc but today I never received one of my items. This is the 2nd time items have been missing from order.
