Costa Coffee in East Dunbartonshire

Disappointed not allowed proper cup to sit outside, paper cup only. Unable to sit inside as had dog with me

Usual Costa for food and drink. Where this place falls down is idle staff. The tables were left uncleared whilst the staff chattered. Sorry but no time for this.

Orders a caramel frappe and got a frappe that just tasted of milk and cream and not of caramel. When asked if I could have a bit more caramel in it I was told by the member of staff I have already put five in it. Great customer service not.

The staff in this place deserve a pay rise. The 'nothing is a problem' attitude is a breath of fresh air. In particular the 2 guys that were serving and cleaning tables, the only thing they didn't do was eat my food for me! So friendly, willing to bring food to the table and even got us extra napkins without being asked, but most of all I watched & listened to them talk to 2 separate customers of retirement age and made them feel welcome and just to ask if they needed anything.

Service slow , £ 3-50 for a slice of cake very expensive , plus flies all over cakes not covered and that was sitting in

The staff are excellent, this review does not reflect on them. Have visited 3 times in the last 2 weeks as it's the only place in miles that opens at 7.30am. First time, the till wasn't working so cash only (which I luckily had but saw 5-6 people being turned away). Second time, the coffee machine was broken so no hot drinks at all. Just left. Third time, the dishwasher was broken. Ok, I can use a takeaway cup but there was also a terrible fly infestation, I'm not kidding when I say at least 50, even coming over to where I sat and landing on my drink!! I left again. This store has so much potential but it's chronically under-equipped and poorly managed. Feel sorry for the staff in that environment and no point in me going back!

Went in for a large latte for my son and got my self a bap with sausage, not Malloy the staff here are very good but today the member who serve me, think her name was Nico, was more interested in the people who came in after me and giving them a free coffee than my order. The bap was cooked but left for ages beeping and then came out solid. Hopefully area mangers will look back today and see why other customers were more important than a paying customer.

They were understaffed with no air conditioning. Outside space was small, grubby and dark.

The three baristas working behind the counter at Costa in Strathkelvin Retail Park were amazing. They worked efficiently and professionally. In spite of the very busy pace and "detail-oriented" customers, they were friendly and very courteous. Very impressed!

Good coffee shop, staff pleasant and good selection of cakes.

Ordered tropical mango bubble frappe, I got a tropical mango frappe. ZERO BUBBLES IN SIGHT.

Slowest service I've ever had in any coffee place ever and that's not an exaggeration. It's not even busy and I have been here 14 minutes now...

Customer service in the Milngavie store is EXCEPTIONAL 🥰

Once again visit a Costa asxthey advertise m&sGf sandwiches and soup but hey they never have it , out of about a dozen visits to different costas I have only been successful twice so massive thumbs down for Costa

Absolutely filthy inside! Food on the tables, floors and chairs. During my visit I never saw any staff make any attempts to clear/clean the tables. Had to wipe mines before I sat down..and I wasn’t the only customer!!

6pm coffee shop empty staff member almost gave me wrong order hot chocolate which I might add should have been hot I literally could have gave to a newborn it was that cold so which meant tasted sour after 2mins this is not 1st time my drink has been Luke warm & smile from staff member would have been nice....

Can Costa Coffee start improving cleanliness very poor cleaning of tables when I visit this site.and many other Costa Coffee sites the Fort Glasgow very poor. No sign of Covid now too relaxed Hence only 1 star.

Good coffee and service. Would help if tables could be cleared quicker or there was station for customers to return trays etc back to when leaving.

Brilliant service, good quality food

Staff were very helpful and hygiene was no.1 , all tablets were cleared and cleaned within minutes of customers leaving them , service was speedy but staff still managed to be very professional and polite . There's a massive car park so no problems there either , look forward to visiting again .

Kirkintilloch costa very gd service fast efficient only fault could do with bigger cafe as queue nearly out the door but wheel chair friendly , toilets etc.

Person taking orders was way out of her depth did not give the ticket to the guy making the order. poor guy had to ask everyone what there order was. He should get paid more for doing both jobs.

Hot chocolate cold when asked to heat up advised couldn't heat up

Can get busy at peak times and orders will take a bit longer, has an indoor and outdoor seating area.

Good service generally, unfortunately on my last visit, I didn't notice that the barista gave me the wrong free cake for my birthday gift. Only noticed 15 minutes later in Kirkintilloch, daughter was very happy with the cake! 🤔

This is the second time we haven't received our full order. This time it was hot chocolate. I tried to phone Costa but no one answers the phone,I phoned four time and let the phone ring for five/ten minutes,still no answer. Very disappointed

Couldn't get a filter coffee in a coffee shop and with coffee pot on full display was told they don't do filter coffee, my encounter was with the genius staff. It also seemed dirty and untidy. Not a recommended coffee spot from me

Social distancing in place when you go in however, once you've ordered you've no where to stand which distant from other customers and the staff continue to ring up more people up the queue.

waited 20mins just to get served as it seems takeaway orders get prioritised over sit-in!

Costa Coffee at Strathkelvin Retail Park is a lovely, clean Café with friendly staff who are very helpful.

Online orders only, so 2 elderly gents were unable to be served as they didn't have the app, nor did they know how to get it, I ordered for them on this occasion, good to have you open to keep us all refreshed during these tough times costa - thank you

If you're after a luke warm large cappuccino that doesn't even fill half the cup.... this is the place to go!

Friendly baristas. Highly recommend the new oat milk protein latte. Layout of store altered according to Covid guideline.

Staff are very friendly and service and coffee great For last few weeks when we have been in soap dispenser full but not working. Sick of reporting it. Especially during covid virus people should be able to wash hands in a clean environment with reassurance. Even after reporting toilet door handles should be cleaned down to remedy ammount of people before you who left without the use of basic soap.it is a genuine concern and worry

I love going to costa with friends to get drinks and snacks. They make some of the best hot chocolate and a range of different drinks. Costa also supplies really tasty food like muffins, cookies, shortbread and snack bars.

Can't understand you when talking with a mask on and also standing behind a screen. Ordering was a nightmare 😫

Great coffee and food to go with it. Costa has added a vegan toastie to its range. As is often the case in a busy coffee shop it is not as clean as it should be. Lacks attention to detail on service and cleaning.

Dont like the seating arrangement,too noisy and overpriced but the Christmas toastie was delicious.

Friendly staff, consistent quality and standard pricing. Visit here regularly (along with other branches of the chain) with my Dad and it can often be busy as it is very popular! Cakes are delicious and we love the tuna melts 😍

Very noisy, crowded. Ended up with the wrong coffee and left the rest of my lunch as it was claustrophobic.

Very crowded and noisy. Hard to have a conversation. And very much overpriced. Handy as it's easy to tell someone you'll meet them there and it's easy to find. But not somewhere I'd be pushing to go for the place itself.
