I had an amazing experience with the customer service at Costa Coffee. During my visit, I accidentally spilled my coffee, and one of the staff members was incredibly kind and understanding. She calmly told me that it was absolutely fine , cleaned up quickly, and even offered me a fresh coffee at no extra charge. Her kindness and professionalism turned an embarrassing moment into a positive experience. This level of service truly sets Costa apart. I’m very grateful and will definitely be coming back soon!!!!!Thanks Costa for having a such a great staff

Ordered medium festive coffee. Couldn't taste much coffee, very watery & sweet.

Had a good selection of baked goods And a cup washer which would have been great if it had worked

This Costa serves the same great menu and coffee as all the other cafe’s in this chain. The staff are always friendly and efficient. I’ve visited several times and the service has always been excellent.

Halloumi and roasted vegetables! Should have had the bread listed first, then vegetables, then halloumi. Was approximately 1mm thick. Extortionate price for the amount of halloumi on there. Not impressed. Porridge was OK.

Popped in for a quick brew. With a friend. Early Sunday morning, so still fairly quiet. Quick service and usual standard americano.

A nice, clean and friendly Costa. Very busy place but service was prompt and everything was served well. The facilities were nice and clean even on a very busy Saturday afternoon. Nice Costa to visit if in the area!

My first visit to this Costa, which is very modern with a lovely, light and pleasantly decorated interior. The reason for the 5 stars was the really cheerful, friendly young lady barista, who went out of her way to be welcoming. She also made the coffee hot - hooray! Not tepid, like so many cafés. I'll certainly call in again when next working in Ashton.

Ordered a Kit-Kat Frappe, for takeout. Already tried a Kit-Kat Mocha, in Manchester, so wanted to try one of the other beverages. It was simple, but it was good.

store was dirty , the toilets had no toilet paper in , the staff were just talking or on their phones , at least 6 tables full of empty cups, plates and rubbish

From the initial greeting I knew it was going to be a poor service. Instead of being polite and saying hi. Instantly asking sit in or take away. Not very welcoming. I then explained my order. Mocha take away. I asked for it to be made with two scoops of chocolate powder. An then guy making my drink clearly put three in. I asked him why when I'd said I want specifically two scoops so it wasn't as sweet. His reply I did small scoop so just making it up. I was like I asked for two and for less. Begrudgingly made a new jug but really really poor service from start to finish. Costa is seriously lacking recently. Prices gone up. Service has gone out the window.

Usual Costa, but service was rather slow.

One of the worst Costas I have ever been to. Service was awful - one star is pushing it. No napkins or cutlery provided, told us to sit down and they'd bring the hot food over, but instead sent another customer to tell us it was ready. Coffee was fine - no spoons provided however which is usually standard. Staff member also missed off 2 parts of my (simple) order so I had to ask for cream on the hot chocolate and request the muffin I had ordered to be added to my tray. I frequent many a Costa but will not return to this one! Would expect all training and processes to be aligned across stores - providing a spoon with a coffee, a napkin with food etc is common sense. I did check and these items were not available to help yourself to. It wasn't particularly busy in there either (neither was the drive thru) so that can't be an excuse. Avoid!

Turned up based on times on the Internet that had been verified by the business the week before only for it not to be open.

The breakfast and drinks there are brilliant and they have the best toast in world. The service was great fast and the staff were friendly. The chairs were extremely comfy and there was an inviting atmosphere the moment I entered the building.

What a change from the last time. Staff were really friendly and the service was excellent from 1 star to five stars well deserved.

Unreliable timings - so often we pull up well before 7pm but it's shut

Place was clean and inviting however the drink was absolutely horrible. They don't know how to make a chai latte here.

🤔 left confused and slightly annoyed. Ordered my drink but was then told I couldn't pay by cash and HAD to pay by card. Luckily I did have my card on me. It would have been better service to inform people at the point of ordering? The drink was perfect.

Just had coffee. It was empty around 4pm. You can sit outside but the environs are uninteresting. The whole place (restaurant park) is uninspired. People come to eat vist the cinema and eat. You know the sort of thing. Industrialised leisure.

Did not have ANY milk alternatives !! I found that unbelievable

Went in today for a quiet drink with a couple of others was told they didn't have straws so couldn't do the drinks we want and there was an engineer doing maintenance on one of the fridges and had an hoover going which was really loud so we couldn't even talk very disappointed for what we spent in there

I found the attitude of a member of staff awful. Her badge said Holly. Costa is expensive and as such I expect a decent customer service, not to be treated like I'm an inconvenience. I think more training is needed at least for this member of staff

Staff are a bit abrupt these days, it was much friendlier a year ago.

Sometimes the drive thru is closed, & you then don't have sufficient members of staff.

Brilliant coffee and nice environment to sit and relax. Warning a large latte is HUGE. Great value!

Closes at 5pm,but cleaning up at 4.50 vacuum wire all over the floor, dangerous when I use crutches! Cleaning should begin after closing.

Ordered 2 cappuccinos at 6.50pm,drove off,only to find,both were undrinkable. They tasted very very bitter,not at all what we are used to from Costa. He didn't make them in sight of us,so I don't know if they were even fresh I now realise,the shop was about to close,so wonder where are coffees were even from. Will definitely never use this branch again.

Drive through cannot cope with too much traffic, otherwise fine.

I ordered a full fat coffee and skinny coffee only to see the server make the full fat one then just add a drop of skinny milk to the leftover full fat and serve that. Its expensive coffee and the staff really should give a care. I wonder if they are even trained to consider allergies!

Plenty of space and lots of seating. Quick polite service.

Despite the fact there were 5 staff on and I was the only one at the till I still had to wait over 3 minutes (yes that's 180 seconds) to be served. Drink was made by an inexperienced person who didn't read what I wanted and didn't add any syrup I paid for. Again, despite the number of staff in the building with only 1 order to do the shop was very untidy with many tables left with plates and cups etc. Not a good place to go

Staff was pleasant but place had lots of tables with rubbish on them as shop was fairly empty people's trays and tables should be clean.

Costa is always a little expensive for what it is, but this is a nice little stop & rest at the Snipe retail park, a little shy of B&Q, limited indoor seating of a few tables & some comfy couches. A bit of a squeeze with a wheelchair but do-able 🌸 The downside is the screens behind the counter advertising & listing the drinks available could be better, they rotate advertising to fast, so you don't know what's actually available to order 🌸

One of the better Costas decent layout and though three staff down you would have never known as the team worked hard to cover the gaps.

Quick service. Clean and tidy. Staff friendly and helpful. Will visit again.

Doors were locked when I tried going in. Opening times was hours before I arrived. Staff just looked blankly at me and walked away

Supposed to open at 7am, 7.33 and still not open.

Worst ever, ordered & paid through the app to collect and the store was closed when I got there 6 minutes later. Should've been open for another 1 3/4 hours. I've put in an official complaint to try and get refunded through Costa UK and had nothing nearly a week on other that the initial auto response with a case ref! I'll likely be switching to another coffee franchise after several years of constant purchases.

More frequent cleaning of tables chairs and floors, unfortunately some customers leave a mess, not the staffs fault, but more frequent checks would be good. Not just this shop but all Costas,

Came at 5:40pm. Went to walk in and they locked the door? It’s says shuts at 9pm? But drive through still active. Place needs to put the right closing times online.

Had energiser coffee which was really good! Recommend to have an app to collect points and to get free coffees! Quick service 👌

Nice hazelnut latte, although I couldn't taste hazelnut. (Wifey could though 🤷🏻) Nice raspberry almond cake too.

I have been to several Costas before, but none have been as terrible as this one. I have been to this Costa twice, and each time I have had terrible service. Primarily, the coffee I have ordered has been disgusting each time. The first time, I ordered a mint choc chip frostino. I have had this before at Tameside hospital's Costa and it was delicious. This time, it unfortunately wasn't. The second time, I ordered a Salted Caramel Frappé. I have, once again, had this before. It is disappointing that a place with Coffee in the name, cannot make a good coffee. When you pay so much for a drink, you expect it to be good. In this Costa's case, that is not true. Secondly, I waited 10 minutes for 2 cups of iced coffee. The first cup was made immediately with the whipped cream, but the salted caramel pieces weren't put on yet. They were put on 9 minutes later and the whipped cream (which was very sparingly applied) had melted and the second cup was warm even though the ice was in the cup! Third, the coffee collection point is at the opposite end to the till. This a, doesnt make sense and b, blocks off customers from accessing the ordering point if people stand there. Finally, the workers there were rude and gave terrible service. If you want a cheap and delicious cup of coffee with good service, go to the McDonalds across the road.

We were served by a lovely lady called Ellie today at the costa drive-thu, so friendly and polite. Nothing was too much trouble.People like you make the world a nicer place

Great for morning coffee and every other time of day

Nice relaxed atmosphere inside. New modern decor with good seating. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The drinks were of a very good quality. We did not do the drive through.

Staff are very fast at what they do. They are on it all the time. Very nice place to eat in at. They have an upstairs and downstairs in their store and also a place to sit outside. Place is always nice and tidy too.

Good coffee but a little overpriced.

Place was very nice but the coffee was not hot enough. you have to ask for them to make it hot I thought coffee Was supposed to be made hot🤔

Google states it’s open at 8am on a Sunday driveway says 7am and the front door says 9am but none of them are right. as the guy said they don’t open till. 9:30 what’s all this about update your opening hours or get staff that start work on time. I’m never one to moan but this is a joke people just want quick reliable services with the right information.

The Costa shop was clean and the staff were well presented. The drinks were to the high standard of Costa as I would expect. I would be visiting this branch again. A great layout of the store with a modern look.

No dine-in! It’s been like this for months now!! And Costa Coffee, a big company is too lazy to put that on their google map location!! Had to walk there under the rain to find it closed at 3 pm!! Thank God Starbucks is just around the corner!

Always closed early... Waste of time coming here, they close without any notice earlier than they should. Seems to be run like an independent small business and not a corporate chain, staff go home at their own will, management are an utter joke.

Never been before and didn't have anything to eat but it was very pleasant and really enjoyed my skinny latte.

Why is this place never bloody open?!

This used to be the best place and during the first pandemic lockdown it was the first, and only place we felt safe visiting. Staff were friendly, helpful and it was a great cuppa. Fast forward to today and the staff are miserable, if they have any staff at all. It’s always closed. And the quality of the food and drink is suspect. RIP Costa. We miss you. Someone please save this franchise!

Convenient if you like costa coffee and are going to the cinema. Could have done with more staff to clear tables as seating is really nice, clean and comfortable.

Worn out and needing refurbishment

This is the second visits here in as many weeks. Once again today 20 jan 22 @ 930 am they have no food. Both occations I wait in the cue at the drive through. All advertising boards showing food. Ask for a latte and sausage nap to be told we have no food. So I say why dont you put a sign up to say as much so we dont have to cue for 15mins. They young girls attitude at this point was DISCUSTING and rude. We do not put signs up its company policy, what do you want me to do she says. How Unprofessional and rude. I wont ever use this costa again. A simple sign saying we have no food and then you dont have to sit and wait for your breakfast when you once again have no food. There's a mc Donalds right next to it. Went here, drive through speedy, nice bacon sandwich and coffe. Cheaper and better service. Just saying

Closed more than its open 12 noon on a Sunday it's all locked up they should just knock the place down

For some reason drive thru was shut I'd imagine staff illness as hit them too as there was only a skeleton crew so we actually went in It was clean and they looked organised covid is affecting everything

Gotta love a drivethrough gingerbread latte when it's cold outside and Costa's don't disappoint

First time I've visited here. Coffee etc good. However, I was extremely unimpressed with the service ( particularly with the young woman on the till). The service was slow and, in particular, her attitude was very poor. She was rude to one of the customers who brought back uncooked food. Walked away from the till several times between serving a customer without any explanation. Then pulled faces/ had surly expression at various requests made by customers. They ran out of clean plate. This was because the tables had not been emptied or wiped clean. There appeared to be no management present and this was very evident! Several other customers were equally disatisfied and were expressing their unhappiness about the situation. At least 4 other groups of people sat at tables near by me were complaining. The final straw came when a couple had just purchased their drinks and sat down when the person on the till came around to say the place was closing at 1.30. There is sympathy and understanding for early closures on christmas eve. However, there was no notices around to highlight this intention and nobody was alerted to this possibility when purchasing there products.

I’m here at 6:15 and it’s still not open so I think you need to update what times you open instead of having people stand around waiting for use to be open in the freezing weather.

Three years gap I have this store 4 stars out of 5 and commented, "Nice food and selection but expensive!" Things have changed since then, and certainly not for the better! The opening hours seem to change almost weekly. A fortnight ago I visited to find it closed due to staffing issues, last week it closed early due to stock and, they must have run out of excuses now, as the store was just closed with no explanation! 6.35pm and, as the picture shows, the hours say it should be open but no... It's a shame as this was a really good store but what good is having tasty coffee if you're never open? Sorry, I've downgraded my review to 1 star (and this is generous-it's difficult to award even a single star if I can't actually get up order a drink!)

Excellent location for Costa Coffee Beautiful new building with a drive-through as well outside seating here as well and free parking too.

Disappointed in Costa today no hand gel even after alerting staff it was empty as I entered and after leaving over 2.30 hours later still no hand sanitiser oh dear. Good job I had my own.
