I Love Costa Café. My experience there has been very good, for most.

very disappointing...the porridge was disgusting. I arrived at work with it cold and uncooked, in the conditions in which my job is 2 minutes away from Costa, it could not be eaten. I just threw £3 in the bin. Extremely disappointing and annoying

Its a good place to spend time and work

I visit this place almost once a week and I am never disappointed with the service I receive from the workers mainly Sayeed and Lucia, they listen attentively and always greet you with a smile.

Friendly staff and good atmosphere to spend time with your loved ones. There are plenty of options. But they won't clean the tables immediately.

Costa Coffee is the best of the high street chains by a mile. I go there with my son when we have a.break from work during the day. Top drawer.

Multi lingual staff big help if ur from Portugal

During my visit on 23rd July. Qais exhibited extremely rude behavior that left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome. Not only did he display a complete lack of professionalism, but he also made homophobic remarks that were offensive and completely unacceptable.

Nice service and nice atmosphere. I invite you for coffee 😊

Coffee and the cakes are good especially on a Friday when you get 25%off food. And there was a decent enough selection of cakes even at 3pm

I have bought a large Americano with pouring cream and a butter croissant (breakfast deal) for breakfast, from Costa, three times a week for as long as I can remember. However my usual COSTA, Purley Way, was too trafficky so took a different route. Came to this Costa this morning to find coffee is weak and they wouldn’t honour the breakfast deal, even though their signage said the deal was running. Apparently this branch is a franchise so standards are allowed to be poor. That was what I took from the conversation with staff!

Chain coffee shop for a Sunday is really busy and a good place for pick me up

The store was nice and clean, with one friendly staff member at the counter. Since they had a delivery service operating,I think it impacted the service since the staff looked very busy but there were not many people in store. They did really well though, and I was service quite fast. There were plenty of tables and the toilets were clean (no code to get in like some shops!). It was still morning when I went though. I really enjoyed my cheese toastie and my mint tea.

It's a newish Costa in Norbury- it has a fresh look and great indoor seating area and tables outside.

Coffee bitter not as good as it used to be

Clean store. Aircon. Polite staff. Mediocre cappuccino. Mediocre almond croissant- no other croissants today. Wobbly table.

If you want a decent coffee and would like to sit in and maybe read a paper, find somewhere else because this place is more than acustom to allowing a group of 12 per day, buy 1 coffee out of the 12 of them, then bring in there own beaker.. Costa, that needs a major fix.

I had a lovely mint chocolate frappe. I would definitely recommend it. It was so refreshing and cooled me down.

Clean coffee shop with good temperature control. Standard products and services. There are some good comfy chairs and staff don't rush you out. They have recently switched to 02 WiFi which is much more reliable than what the had before. A good place to get some work done, meeting friends or past the time.

I visited Costa Coffee in Norbury and I was disappointed with the service on this occasion.. the lady who served us heated my friends toast and didn't tell us it was ready yet they were talking amongst themselves had we not have asked it would have gone cold I had to ask for basic things I wasn't impressed really.. no eye contact she was serving me but talking to her colleague. It was not busy at all

Worst coffee ever 😭 never again

Lovely place for a catch up with friends. Very clean most of the time toilets can be a bit smelly. Good variety of cakes, sandwich and wrap. All seem to be quite packed.

Quite a disappointment. They have a lot to improve in terms of communication.

I just bought 2 coffee lattes and it taste like water with milk with little amount of coffee.

Website said driver at restaurant for nearly an hour. When turned up they said they only received order 8 mins ago. Ridiculous

They ALWAYS FORGET items when I order from Deliveroo. THEY JUST DO NOT SEEM TO CARE. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS BRANCH..save ur time and money.

I left a note asking the driver to please leave my food by the door because I am self isolating and she did not read it. I had to shout from the other side of the door asking her to do so.

We visited the Norbury branch on the 31st of December at 13:14hrs and found a table that met the current covid requirements. The table was dirty and wet from spilt coffee, so I asked a blond woman who was behind the till if I could have tissues or a clean cloth to wipe the table. She said she will be there in a few minutes so I waited for 15mins and had to go back to request a cloth or tissues again. She did not come to clean the table and cleaned other tables and ignored us. So much for the service at Costas in Norbury. Will not be visiting that shop anymore.

Very good staff are very respectful and well mannered. Food is brilliant all to gather it is a 5 star coffee shop better then starbukks.

Despite its popularity, Norbury Costa Coffee isn't the largest store I've seen, although it does have seating arrangements that are ideal for social distancing. The service, as well as the staff, are also great.

Wrong milk used, I'm dairy free and asked for coconut milk and sugar free gingerbread syrup latte, I got a latte with normal milk and no syrup, plus I ordered an iced skimmed milk latte with vanilla syrup for my friend and there was no syrup. It is not that difficult to read an order and get it correct, really bad service.

The shop was dirty and coffee was weak and cold, this used to be a good clean busy shop, but hardly any people in there. Won’t be going back

Would have been five stars not long ago but your staff doesn't know how to make your drinks anymore. I can only assume it's down to the training unless you hire people who don't care. No one in there makes cold brew with whipped milk well anymore- they just pour the milk straight in, even when I asked for a correction! The amount of milk always varies like they just eyeball it. My last cold brew was just a latte. Manager said they didn't know how to make an iced americano and the peach iced tea by them is always half warm. Please instill your recipes in them and teach to follow the instructions I'll happily change this to 5stars when they're trained.

I ordered a ceasear salad and a salted caramel Frostino. to my disappointment I received my drink but a bag with a shortbread and a BADLY WRITTEN NOTE saying they've run out so enjoy the shortbread and ask for a refund. shocked and hope this message makes them do better.

They didn't order things how I had ordered the frostino was literally blended ice no caramel sauce, no caramel pieces and no cream even though I'd requested, also no straw!! I also ordered chocolate flapjack which they didn't send. Disappointed!!!

If I could zero for this particular store I would. Went in there asking for a purple one hot chocolate which is being advertised via website and experienced by myself from several other stores over this Festive period. Was greeted with rudeness, all barista had to do was swap the “Terry’s chocolate orange sauce” for the “big purple” the price is exactly the same so no amendments needed there. Instead all I got was a very loud “Sir we don’t do those” at costa”. Despite me showing this person shouting in my direction that contraire to their opinion on their franchise. Costa does indeed do the “Purple One” as a hot chocolate and to make things worse this branch does the “Purple One” as a latte (smh), so why the issue of making it a hot chocolate?. I’ll tell you. Lack of customer trainer and product knowledge. This was a visit today in Norbury just gone 5:20pm. Highly disappointed in my experience.

Went there to relax and charge my phone on my break time when it was pouring rain outside. Great atmosphere and lovely staff.

Very Hard working Staff. Won't even let you finish your coffee. I had more than half of the cup of the coffee and went to use the facilities, came back and couldn't find anything on my table so just had to leave.

Amazing service, the staff are sooooo polite. My first time sitting in without being in a rush and the service was amazing. Hope they didn't think I was being sarcastic when I said " you guys are amazing and so nice deffo coming again".

Friendly staff and felt safe there sitting inside. Drinks were lovely and hot too. A nice relaxing time had, just the girls! Could do with one other person doing drinks when busy.

Nice spot and ambience, and the staff are warm and friendly. However, they need to pay more attention to the store as a whole. There are many instances that I have found where the tables haven't been cleared, or the washroom is out of soap or tissue paper. These are inconveniences that just diminish the overall experience in this branch.

Bad attention, by the shop assistant, Dirty cutlery, they do not put napkins, cutlery is thrown on the tray, very little staff by the way and dirty.

Coffee is OK. Staff not so much

I will say that the lady/manager is hard working person! But the two boys definitely they don't know too make the standard coffee, normal late and a normal cappuccino😡 I don't know how they pass the course 🤣
