Costa Coffee in Bury

Still very dear, then again you get what you pay for these days.

I used to work as a delivery driver and I had to pass this Costa so more often than not I’d pull in and get 2 drinks one was a custom drink never a problem, the staff there are all so polite and friendly never got to know any names but they were all fantastic one lady in particular, I’ll miss seeing them as I’ve moved jobs. Keep up the good work xx Fiona

I dont think I've ever had a bad experience here, only great products and friendly staff. I visit this branch fairly frequently, both through the drive-thru and indoors and I believe the service and the staff are amazing! They have great balance of proffesionalism and personality, which makes you feel welcome and valued as a customer. A massive thankyou :)

Over 1 hour and 20 mins to deliver shocking

What a joke. My toastie was stone cold and my cold drink was no lukewarm due to being in the same bag together! My ‘caramel latte macchiato’ is not caramel whatsoever. And the iced latte I ordered is not even mixed. Terrible service I won’t bother again

This place can't get an order right. Last time I ordered a Chicken wrap and got Houmous instesd. This time I ordered two toasties and a chicken wrap and only got 1 toastie. Do you guy even look at the order??

Met a friend there for a coffee and catch up and thought my coffee was tasteless. Shop and toilets were very clean. Might just have been my latte choice to be fair.

What can l say, it is my go to coffee shop. I love the coffee and usually have either the tuna panini or the tomato and cheese toasties. We probably go every week and always enjoy it.

Great service! A smaller Costa inside which was quiet and relaxed.

The ham & cheese toastie was terrible…. The sausage roll was bland… The biscuits were good and the coconut latte was tasty.. won’t be ordering from this Costa again

Second time I've been through the drive through and service is ridiculous! My companion couldn't decide if he wanted latte or cappuccino....(he has learning disabilities) the barista was quite impatient. I asked for a receipt and it was although I'd asked for the contents of the till. No offer of sugar for coffee, which I only realised after I'd collected our order, so I had to park up and run in! Don't be so rude next time!

Wend there once, not busy but still waited 20 min in the drive through, if i could get out of it i would have but there was no option. Took forever to take the order, took forever to get to the window as the guy was serving and taking orders from inside and the drive through. Never going there again. Thought drive thoughs were meant to be fast this was anything but fast and then on top of all that he took my order wrong.

This should be one main part of people’s job who works there. EMPTY the bins outside it’s not that hard to keep on top of the rubbish outside in the car parks bins around the restaurant. It would make the area look cleaner and prevent rubbish from flying around the car park. Please just get one person to empty them every few days!!!

Went in this afternoon, sat down and moved tables twice then left. Food on floor, tables and chairs - it was disgusting. Needs more staff or decent cleaners. Totally different to the Costas' in Bury.

Great little Costa with drive thru available. Note the store itself does not open the door until 8am, but the drive thru is available from 6am. The store was nice and clean 🫧 the coffee ☕ was great 👍 and the toilet 🚽 was clean. Free WiFi available Good access ♿ for all abilities 🚀 Thanks for the flat white, toasted teacake, and cortado ❤️

Popped in for a tea and coffee about 4.40 didnt realise they close at 5 so we had them to takeaway both very nice! Staff are very nice aswel, all clean and tidy ideal located on the retail park will call in again as we are staying nearby

A fine coffee outlet without doubt and great staff but.....! The prices of coffee have seen yet another increase, a large cappuccino £3.90...! A special treat is now unaffordable, your to expensive despite being the best. My visits will be from weekly to never....

Strange opening hours. Says it's open but doors locked and drivethrough chained. Happened on multiple occasions over the past 6 months. Must either have a staffing issue or staff ARE the issue....

The staff are fabulous and nothing is too much for them. Bonus knowing it opens at 8am on a Sunday! 😁

Been twice… twice they have charged me for something I haven’t received. Not good. Thought it was only McDonalds that do that. Also, they do not answer their phone to be able to tell them.

Far too eager to close, arrive well before 4.30, takes 10 minutes to acknowledge you then they say we are shutting in half an hour, but then take another 20 minutes to get your drinks ready, are they having a laugh (well yes, usually between themselves) witnessed a whole group of people turned away as they said it was drive thru only, this Costa is letting the team down (company) and In my opinion a better management, if indeed there is one here. Not a good experience for the customer, plus, always generally dirty.

I recently visited the drive through at Costa Pilsworth, and was served by the best customer service person ever. He was polite, friendly and an absolute pleasure to be served by. Thank you.

Just ridiculous, states online and at location "opens at 6am" arrived, waited an hour, still not open. 1 person on site dawdling. New staff needed.

Visited yesterday, drive through closed and only take out available. This isn't the first time advertised timings are not adhered to. Management need to ensure sufficient staff employed to meet advertised hours. On the plus side coffee was lovely.

The opening hours seem totally random and not reflecting the advertised times or hours at all in my experience, more than once we have arrived to find the inside seating not available at all. If it is due to staff shortage, as has been suggested, then they need to be a better place to work could be a good start. No problems - when it is open - with the coffee or snacks or staff but after repeatedly being let down with no inside seating because it is closed I give up.

Google says its open until 6 you get there shuts at 5 are they making this up?

Very friendly staff . Always do extra hot when asked . Except last week I was going on a long drive and I asked for extra hot and it was very very cold . I don't know If it was because I had annoyed them by nicely asking for extra hot or because they were new.

Absolutely shocking , popped in at lunch today arrived just after 12 so not busy strait to front to order our drinks passing 2 members of staff stood chatting and laughing ( great happy work place ) ! But then I have to go and clear a table myself before I Can sit down as it hadn’t been cleared ( I did clear my table before I left as I always do ) . Orders a pot of tea but had to point out the cup she gave me was bigger then the tea pot and requested a more manageable one .. Then while sat having my drink a member of staff was having an issue with there uniform and his jeans didn’t seem to cover backside and his t-shirt seemed a bit short so was showing more then I wanted to see ..

If you Hot chocolate or coffee I bet you love costa I went to it and it was fantastic because the staff were very helpful and honest

Went here yesterday to order a coffee on the way back from my lunch break. The chap serving on the counter didn't smile, greet me or even acknowledge my existence. I politely waited, the only customer in the queue, and waited.... and waited, but nothing, not even a friendly "I'll be with you in a moment". I don't know if he was having a bad day or whether he just didn't like my face but he seemed to blatantly ignore me and carried on tidying up his counter whilst I strolled the length of the queue area trying to make eye contact. After 3 or 4 minutes of standing there having my time wasted, I walked out. From where he was stood it would've been impossible for him not to have seen me, and he made ZERO effort to even try and fulfill his job in serving me as a customer. I didn't catch his name but he had one of those long metal bars in his right ear. Perhaps management might want to give him a reminder that friendliness and a sense of urgency is always welcome when patrons come to your establishment to spend their hard-earned wages. Thanks.

Coffees used to be brilliant from here last year, nice and hot, just enough froth to make those mustaches, This year, they're cold and just done wrong.

It's a nice Costa, just what you would expect from any Costa really. I like to visit here with friends / family members or sometimes use the drive-thru after shopping nearby as a treat.

Service extremely slow. Customer in front of me ordered 3 coffees and they took a lifetime to make. After waiting 10 minutes to be served by someone else (the 3 coffees were still being made) I was told they had no decaf coffee.

Disappointing visit, I’ve not used this branch before and doubt I will call in again. The disabled scanner at the entrance door wasn’t working. I ordered my usual drink - medium decaf skinny cappuccino but no decaf available. No offer to bring my order to a table until I was seen trying to balance my drink and use my crutches at the same time. Vacant tables needed wiping down and dirty crockery removing. Not the usual standard of service and hygiene I’m use to from other branches of Costa.

Went through the drive through and ordered 2 ham and cheese paninis after being told they didn’t have what we originally wanted. Arrived at the window to pay and staff were too busy chatting amongst themselves to even say a word to me. Received our food to find that we had been given ham and cheese toasties rather than paninis which were then not toasted on both sides and were a soggy mess. Very disappointed with the service of this costa and will not be returning

Really nice fast service both drive thru and collection. The girl Leah with short curly hair and Meg who is a tall queen went above and beyond and just provided a pleasant and excellent service throughout! Credits to the store!

Got served by Leah, was absolutely lovely! Made me a very nice hot chocolate just perfect and also a mango cooler! Shop is very clean! And can see they are listening to the covid rules.

Happy 50th Birthday. Pleasant branch of Costa. Plenty of parking. It’s amazing to be in store after such a long time. Waiting over 5 minutes just to place an order. Hopefully it will pick up as it goes on once as it used to be.

Good pricing, great selection of food and drink, brilliant Vegan section (I'm not Vegan but my girlfriend is) and always a friendly person serving too.

Been 4 times,ordering with the app and 3 times something was missing from the order.once the staff alerted me to but as I paid thru the app I had to go thru a rigmarole to claim it back, wasn't worth it so a pound out of pocket. Once I noticed the.missing drink so asked for it and once I left without noticing a missing cake-really annoying.must try harder.

Poor coffee this morning. Asked for a large, when I drank it, it was only 3/4 full and tasted burnt. However, I come here daily and this has been my only bad experience.

Usually good, can get very busy at times and service seems to suffer, otherwise very good.

Usually great customer service however today we went and the lady on the speaker and window was very abrupt and seemed to be talking down to my elderly father. She also messed the order up and didnt bother to make sure safety precautions was taken ie putting the lids on instead they were just flung on. Went back in to get the correct order and the man was lovely and very helpful. The young lady needs to revisit the customer service attitude again. Very disappointed

Outside seating area means you can sit outdoors if its busy inside. Great coffee and staff (and cake).

The only efficient store we have been to recently

Went to drive through, speaker is stuck together with tape and cups over it got to window they didn't hear me had to repeat. Waited a while so slow overall not good the store isn't that old to be this bad and have things stuck together with tape already.

Well organized, clean and notices on tables to only sit when they have been cleared and cleaned.

Two days together 21st and 22nd July at approximately 12 noon no Tuna melt panin left, when going through the drive thru and still having to wait in line to be able to get out makes for a frustrating experience 🙄.

I have been coming to costa Pilsworth drive thru since it opened.. I always see the regularly staff who welcome us with a smile when giving our drinks. In the last few occasions we were not happy with 2 young ladies called Alison & Rachel they didn’t greet you with a smile and kept remind you of the total whilst you getting your card . It was annoying that they kept repeating the total ..

Gave me a coffee with slash in the cup which left a mess in my car. Not happy
