Costa Coffee in Wolverhampton

Lovely cafe, lovely staff and great coffee 😉. A very clean Costa selling everything one expects from this chain, from Panini's to your favourite beverage and pastry. All tucked into Next on the first floor. There is a lift if you are a Mum with a pushchair, or disabled. There is an elevator taking you up to the first floor too, but not one taking you down, so the lift is a god send. There are also plenty of disabled spaces outside, if they aren't being abused by lazy individuals with no disability, which happens a lot. The food/ snacks are very good here and reasonably priced as are the deserts. Soooo good 😋. It is a busy Costa, so be prepared to wait. There are toilets too, next to Costa, including disabled. Not the cleanest I've visited, but certainly not the worst. A lovely Costa and a great Next store. I'll be back 😁👍🏼👍🏼

Costa is too expensive to have regularly and they gave increased tge number of beans ypu have to collect for a free one . Very mean .Rarely go these days much cheaper places around and Coffee is just as good fir 75p-£1.00 less .

Lovely breakfast experience at Costa Coffee this morning with my daughter, excellent staff, especially Zoe who served multiple customers with her multi-tasking skills! Brilliant service, will definitely visit again soon

Comfortable surroundings and tasty coffee. On the app solway adding that extra bean. They now have a book stand if you want a relaxing read or want to swap paperbacks.

Thanks. ☕🤗. 13th April 2024, A bit of a mixed review today Good Good, Drinks Good, so all in all a Good Visit however that's when it goes Downhill what has happened to the Cleaning, Glasswork Sticky marks all over Tables & Chairs Dirty Food Stains on the Swade type Chairs Food & Drink stains on the walls Not a pleasant place to sit ina little bit of Soap and Warm Water Should Do the Trick, When it's Closed Get a Deep Clean Team In other Than That I Still love The Place But Would Be A Shame To Have To Go Somewhere Else. ☕👍

Three of the staff members at this store are incredibly rude - this store is in dire need of staff requiring customer service refresher training, particularly the woman with the pink hair. Truly dreadful customer service! This is a shame as some of the staff are great & the drinks and location are good.

Very rude service. Drinks have been made incorrectly on multiple occasions, staff members near enough shout and tell you off if you point this out. If you dine in, staff members speak to you in a condescending manner. Do not go here.

The service at this costa is abysmal, the staff have made my orders wrong on multiple occasions. The lady with pink hair almost shouts at customers and is so rude, never going back. Also, the bigger lad has a real attitude.

This used to be a really good Costa but something has gone drastically wrong over the last twelve months, it used to be ran and managed quite well, Liam i think the guys name was who ran it left and so did some staff members and since then new staff has come in and standards have dropped, lots of plates and cups left on tables, drinks served in take away cups sometimes in wrong sizes as well eg medium drink in large take away cups , also staff seem to wear there own clothes and not wear work clothes eg one was wearing a Barcelona football shirt and also the store closes at 7pm yet i turned up at 5pm so still two hours until closing time and i was told it was take away only and cant sit in even though still had two hours until it closed, it seems like they just do whatever they want and make their own rules up for the shop. its very sad to see how much this store has declined

Today's, 6/2/24 someone decided to close at 6.45pm. Really disappointed ...

Great coffee shop on next and the staff are always so friendly and accommodating. They changed a drink for me when I felt the cream was not right without any fuss and helped in finding a seat when it was busy.

What a dreadful costa. I'd comment on the coffee or service if I could, but instead, on a Sunday at 2 p.m., they've closed. I only chose to grab a coffee from here because the other local costa is appalling in its standard of service and quality of drinks and food. Still at least Starbucks are open.

Huge thanks to Matt! I came in for a Hot Chocolate and tuna toastie. On top of that my daughter had an art project and needed to paint a hot chocolate and cream with all the works. I asked if he minded presenting my drink in a certain way, so I could take numerous photos to send to my Yr 10 student daughter. He went above and beyond. We also had a giggle. Thankyou so much. Lovely toastie too.

Thank you to the lovely lady who served me this morning (apologies I don’t know her name, but she had pink hair). It was really nice to be greeted so kindly and to be made feel welcome in the store. A really nice example of great customer service.

Staff is extremely rude and unwelcoming! Something has really gone wrong in this place and it should be addressed! Just have a look at the lowest rating they have => All dated from under 1 year ago!

I Told staff please give me extra hot chai Latte. The way of replying is very rude. And still got warm drink.not good.

The staff were not good and asked for a glass coup. They give disposal one. Not recommended

Dishwasher broken again! coffee served in take away cups, no medium take away cups available so everything in the large ones.. no plates for the food, so served in paper bags, 2 of the staff were ok but 1 was very rude and in needs some customer service training! , will not be going back there again .

Lovely coffee especially the maple Hazel latte.and also the biscoff cheesecake is amazing!!

I don’t know how people can come t work with shorts. We came here and receive burned coffee… na these employees do t know how to do proper Costa coffee..

Hazel Ice Latte...Waste of Money, 5 ice cubes in a glass of milk with some Coffee and Syrup....I supposed a smile would be to much to ask...mind you, I did get a Straw...

Despite getting a parking ticket here last time I came, even though I have a blue badge, this is my favourite Costa because of the staff, all just lovely people who go the extra mile.

Always good! This is our local cafe so use it fairly regularly. The drinks are always top notch and the staff are absolutely great! Can't fault it!

After a very traumatic day, following a hospital appointment and cancer diagnosis, we went for a much needed coffee at Costa, inside the Next store at St Johns Retail Park in Wolverhampton. On Tuesday 8/9/20, I was served by a very friendly man who asked me how my day was going while he was preparing the coffees and food I had ordered (perhaps he had picked up on our shocked/slightly stricken faces!) His enquiry seemed genuine rather than a throwaway comment, so I told him very briefly, that in all honesty it wasn't great, having just come away from cancer hospital. He was so thoughtful and kind, insisted on bringing our drinks and food to us, he even brought some slices of cake to brighten our day. At which point, despite being normally reserved folk, we both promptly burst into tears at the kindness of strangers. His fellow (female) employee was also extremely kind and caring, seeing our distress she made a point of asking what she could do to help. To get such genuine empathy and kindness, not to mention fantastic customer service is becoming increasingly rare these days. We just want to acknowledge it and say thank you so much to the two lovely people who shed a little light on a dark day. Costa, I hope you realise the value of your employees, we will certainly go back again because this is what makes for loyalty to a branch, or brand, good people. We know this is not an isolated instance of good Costa employee attitudes either, Star City branch staff gave very friendly and efficient service last Sunday too. Bless you all.
