Hi my family and I decided to eat at Nickelodeon, Bentley Bridge Food - appalling my husband had pie and mash. The mash was cold and a huge lump dumped on his plate. My grand daughter and I had a carvey and it was same with the mash, Yorkshire puddings awful My daughter had hallumi again horrible. The service at the till the poor woman was doing several jobs at a time, hence a long wait at the till Atmosphere - dull and not inviting we shall not be returning

Went for a carvery on a Sunday and it was super busy but thats not the pubs fault. Special mention to the young barmaid with black hair tied back, she was polite and friendly.

We were served by a lovely lady called Sam and the service was fast and efficient and she took in consideration about allergy’s and was very friendly

The server sam was lovely, she was really welcoming and chatty, really puts you in a good mood, all round friendly staff!

I would just like to say a massive thank you to Joe and Jake for all the help for making my mother Inlaw & farther in-laws 50th anniversary party go so well I can’t thank these guys enough they were amazing. Would definitely recommend

Ok I went Today with Dad as bit of change,I pre booked our table in Advance for two people, We ended up with four table which i wasn't bothered about.The Atmosphere was good it was very busy the service was good.The food was ok my only thing was the carrots sprouts where slightly underdone i'm not a picky person anyway.Price was a tad expensive but that's the cost of living for you.I think next time if we go again it will be an early visit or a weekday just because of how busy it was.Overall i would give a 6 out of 10.But bear in mind every day is different so you may have a better experience than we did.

This time I decided to take things up a notch, and that’s right, I carved on a Sunday. I’ve recently had too many mixed reviews of the weekday carvery that Greene King provide, so on this day I decided, enough is enough! The Entrance Walking into the premises was as magical as always, the sight of a refreshing golden beer, the smell of the perfectly glazed joint of beef and not to mention the onion gravy. Me alongside my other two carvers located a table and claimed it, whilst ordering a few refreshing non-alcoholic beverages, to help cure the hangxiety from our previous nights antics “out on the piss” as I think people call it. The Meat Drinks on the table, Receipt for a regular carvery in hand, it was time. I joined the short queue of other carvers with my acquaintances and tried to mentally prepare myself for what was about to go down. Glancing over at the meat (freshly brought out btw) it was an obvious choice. I shakily handed over my receipt and firmly told the meat man that my choice of nourishment had to be none other than turkey and beef. He cut some decently girthed cuts from both and loaded my plate well, before asking me the dreaded question that any seasoned carver hates… “Yorkshire Pudding”? He murmured. I stared him down for what felt like an hour before coldly replying “no” and snatching my plate to continue me adventurous endeavour of meat, mash, and as I was about to find out, so so much more… The Veg Now for my favourite part of the experience, the potatoes and veg, the main feature in the meal if you ask me. Glancing over at the pots of heaven under the heat lamps before me was just such a heartwarming and exhilarating sight to see and added to the overall experience. I decided against the carrots this time, as my previous encounter them wasn’t pleasant to say the least. The next pot that caught my eyes were the sprouts, since I’d missed out on the carrots I thought I’d compensate by throwing a mountain of them on my plate, I felt the looks people were giving me as I was doing this, it felt so wrong, yet so right. I skipped the bland, generic looking roasties, as a few pots up from them I spotted the beef dripping ones. It was like a dream come true. The aroma I got from these were nothing short of sensational, and this is where it all got so real for me. I’d not been to a Sunday carvery in so long, and I’d dreamed of the moment I was stood before a fresh pot of beef dripping roast potatoes. Once I’d dropped a few onto my plate I continued on with my expedition and added a mound of mash (lots of it) and a handful of broccoli stems, which was carefully placed on the side of my plate, as space was becoming rather scarce. It was nearly time, moving onto the condiments I didn’t mess around. I messily slapped a teaspoon of mint sauce to the side of my plate adjacent from my recently placed broccoli, then flooded my plate with ‘The Nickelodeons’ signature onion gravy. The Conclusion Yet again, Greene King exceeded expectations and provided nothing short of an amazing and memorable service to me and my fellow carvers. It was an unforgettable experience which I’m so grateful to have shared and cherish forever. Yet again I’ve learned so much from this experience and feel like I’ve grown so much as a person, finally being able to answer that question “Who am I”? I’m Josh. Just Josh. Thank you again Greene King, I’d like to finalise this review with a 10/10 rating and I cannot wait to be a part of another one of their Sunday carvery events. Special thanks to my two other carvers who joined me on this date, hopefully it was as memorable for them as it was for me.

Great food and atmosphere.hsve been coming here for years and never changes.my granddaughter loves going outside to see the ducks/ boats too.

Food was nice, had to send back however they was apologetic and replaced with complementary drink due to the mistake! The service lady Sam was amazing so helpful and pleasant and very welcoming made our meal a pleasure need more staff like Sam 💙

Just got back from nickelodeon which my granddaughter had her son's birthday meal there, I had a carvery and it was on the verge of being cold, the best part of the meal was the turkey, beef was not good very tough and vegetables weren't the best, the onion gravy had no onions in it. Overall very disappointed with the meal

Staff were lovely can't fault them at all. Really disappointed with the carvery mash was packet mash sloppy and cold, carrots and parsnips cold and hard, meat ok, few of us had the carvery and all said the same.

Went there a few weeks ago on a Sunday and was served by Jake , he was really welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for him , spoke to the kids and made them feel welcome too. He went out his way to make it a memorable visit. Amazing customer service Thankyou Jake!

We picked up some friends from the airport. They were hungry, and so asked where we could eat, and I suggested the Nickelodeon as one liked the vegetarian option, and the other could manage the small carvery while the rest of us had the medium. Thet staff are always friendly, even if the carver can be a little slow to respond to the bell and serve at times.

Popped in on Saturday for lunch. Had a carvery and was served by Jamie. I just have to say, the food was fantastic, the service from Jamie was great. Choices were great and the quality of the food was fantastic. We will definitely be coming back.

I attended the Nickelodeon Wolverhampton with my friend for drinks. We were served by the lovely Sam who was welcoming and ensured we had an amazing experience with lots of laughs. I would recommend coming here if you want a relaxed but fun time with friends.

What a lovely atmosphere. We didn't have food but it smells very tantalising and we would love to come back and dine. Your staff were so busy and the bar filled up 2x but it went down so quick. You guys provide the best service thanks so much Kiya Matt and Jodie were amazing. Matts hilarious and a big style people person GET HIM ON THE BAR! You'll make a fortune top seller! Most of people in the group enjoyed their food, my burger was a little over cooked and not what I expected from the description. Other than that it came quickly and all together. Food seemed good value for money and portion size was good.

Went between christmas and it was busy but food arrived on time. I had halloumi, gorgeous. Catered for us all. Didn't move us either we were there 3 hrs. Enjoyable

I recently visited your pub, and while I found the food to be generally good, there are a couple of suggestions I believe could help improve the overall experience moving forward. Carvery Suggestions When the carvery isn’t in use, it would be helpful to cover the food to prevent it from drying out. I understand this might be inconvenient at times, but it would help maintain the quality and freshness of the food. Additionally, having someone assigned to regularly refresh the vegetables would ensure everything stays appealing for customers throughout service. Front-of-House Service The main concern during my visit was the wait to get served upon arrival. At times, the queue to place orders at the bar was quite long 10 to 15 minutes in some cases. Despite having plenty of staff visible on the floor, it seemed like only one or two people were handling orders behind the bar. On occasions, when staff on the floor were asked if they could assist, the response was often, “That’s for the bar staff to handle,” which added to the frustration of waiting. A suggestion would be to have spare staff temporarily assist on tills during peak times when the queue builds up. Even if it’s just for a short period, this would significantly reduce wait times and create a better impression for customers. When customers see plenty of staff on the floor but have to wait in a long queue, it can lead to frustration. A little flexibility in assigning roles during busy times would go a long way in improving the experience for everyone. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and believe these small changes could make a big difference.

The staff were all really friendly. They interacted with my grandchildren and took their time to chat with them about their christmas. Chloe in particular went out of her way to get paper and crayons for the youngest when she saw she was getting a little fidgety waiting for the food to arrive. The food was hot and plentiful and the grandkids enjoyed the sharing dessert. I will be back with the grandkids again as they all enjoyed their time in there.

Booked for my nans birthday on boxing day was a bug party of 35 people including adults and children. Was set tables in the conservatory area and was happy with our service. Nothing is ever to much for Danni Anne and Jake they are always welcoming. We are always made me feel welcome. See you all new years eve

We had an excellent Christmas Day lunch and was so pleased with all the staff and service. They really couldn’t do enough and although it was their Christmas too they enjoyed the occasion with us. The food was good and the wait times reasonable given the day. Thank you

Booked the festive menu last night for me, my partner and 2 children. Got seated at 10 to 5 with no corespondance how we ordered food as it was all pre-ordered. Childrens garlic bread starters were overcooked as was my brie wedges. Then waited 40 minutes for mains what a joke. Partner had the festive smothered steak. Steak looked like it been sat on a bbq for a week it was that overcooked, childrens chips were un edable and the carvery well I was hoping for turkey but when I got there the turkey was sat there for god knows how long it was dry and turning brown. I opted for Gammon and it was saltier than salty. Veg was left under the lamp for so long it was dry and turning brown and the roast potatoes were burnt. I couldnt eat it. Had to wait another 30 minuits for desserts, Childrens brownies came out absolutely boiling and my daughter burnt her mouth as we werent told by waitress they were hot. 2 hours altogether we were sat there. No atmosphere, Staff were not polite and food was a total let down. Paid £60 for it all to be wasted. Won't be returning.

We visited the Nickelodeon on Christmas eve, for their festive menu. We were a party of 6, and we reserved the table in advance. Up on arriving, the table was ready and decorated for us, and it was in my requested location. We had the loveliest man, called Matt, assist us throughout our visit, and literally he was amazing!!! Nothing was too much for Matt, despite him being dressed as a giant candy cane for the occasion!! He really did make our visit special!! The food was amazing, courses were brought out on time and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The overall price was brilliant, £109 for 6 of us to have a 3 course meal and drinks. We're definitely booking again for next Christmas!!

We spent altogether £40, the food was undercooked, the service from the carvery man who cuts the meat, he was rude and unpleasant because I had asked for the fresh batch of roast potatoes as there were only a few left. I did tell a member of staff but really we should have had our money back as it was awful, and whoever the chef is they need replacing, we visited 21st December 2024. Please go somewhere better as you are just wasting your money. Even macdonalds would have been better. Never again.

Good value carvery. Beef was quite chewy though so think they are using Namibian beef. Good carvery if you avoid the beef though.

Made to feel as if had done something wrong, when didn't receive an email asking for prebooking off the festive menu. Had to wait, what felt like an entire life time to be served. Upon receiving our carvey tickets, the food itself was good and the carver was lovely and helpful. The gluten free gravy took that long to be prepared our food was cold, although complimentary drinks were offered the service got worse. After finally collecting our empty plates we had to hunt down the waiters to get our desserts, after waiting for over 45 minutes. Desserts were then brought out promptly.

The Nickelodeon is a cosy and kid friendly pub, ideal 7 days a week. It is very reasonable on price with a great choice of beverages.

Had looked forward to fish and chips all day . Told on arrival there was no fish , no pies and numerous other items of the menu not available... on a Tuesday ? Settled for the chicken curry which came with rice poppadoms and naan bread . Food was luke warm and the nan bread could have been used to re- sole a boot . My wife plumbed for the carvery which was OK , service was good enough , but the staff seemed disheartened bless them , understandable with the atmosphere which was bleak .
