Few minutes ago I have ordered oat milk late at the costa Arnos Grove. the barista added regular milk instead of the one I paid for. when I tried the coffee, I immediately returned it to the barista to redo the order. For which I received a mountain of accusations such as: "You should have told me that you are allergic to regular milk"! But, the dear barista should fulfill customer orders, and not change them to his own taste. she spoke to me maliciously with a shrill tone and literally threw mugs. I repeat once again, baristas have to take out the orders that people pay for, it is not allowed to change something at their discretion. and if a mistake was made on her part, then after that she need to apologize. I did not receive an apology! to mine: "Thank you!" I was simply ignored!

They have a habit of delivering items you didn’t order from this particular shop. Bit of feedback, if you cannot fulfil orders, then don’t accept them, very simple logic!

I paid £430 for large coffee . There is no test and it's half phroph . Waste of money

Unprofessional attitude towards customers. it is unacceptable that they solve their personal problems at the workplace in front of customers sitting down to drink their coffee. and how staff allows themselves to sit at a customer's table

Good coffee and food, a bit wierd about walking you back to get toilet access if you buy something.

I recently visited this Costa branch and was pleasantly surprised by the cozy ambiance and welcoming staff. The latte I ordered was rich and flavorful, and the pastries were fresh and delicious. Today, I went to that cafe with my family after a long time and the mother and her daughter working there verbally harassed me. The poor service they gave made me very uncomfortable. I am very sorry as I have been a customer of that place for years. Fighting with the customer is a very wrong behavior. I will never recommend that place to anyone again. I don’t think again

Me and my friends were constant customers as my son's school is near to the coffee shop. I was sitting there yesterday and suddenly the mother and the daughter employees came up to us and verbally assaulted my cousin. The situation was completely personal and it was so disrespectful to me and the other customers. Everyone was staring at us in shock. We had a 3year and a 8 year olds with us and they were stressed and scared. Im sorry but I will tell everyone about this situation and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Since it was not a dog frendly place, I never sat there. I usually when im going to the park sometimes took my coffee from there. The last time I went, all the employees were sullen as usual, but one of them was worse than all of them, as soon as I opened the door, he shouted among all the customers that you can't enter with dogs. I said that I came just a few days ago and just took my coffee and left. He said no, you cannot enter, our boss has changed and the manager has changed, you cannot enter anymore. I am shocked by this disgrace among everyone!! There is almost no coffee shop that is not dog friendly anymore, except Costa. I would never even pass by the door of a place with those rude employees. They couldn't tolerate a small dog for 3 min. disgrace!!!

Also feel like they don’t want to be there. Today 4 staff members were standing about behind the counter chatting with their backs towards the queue. After I paid for my drink it never arrived. At some point I heard a shout “what is she waiting for?” and realised they meant me. Several people had been served before I got my drink, no kind word, no thank you, no see you soon, nothing! The lady left the drink and turned around. Often drinks are boiling hot and unpleasant. This is super surprising as I have been a barista and I know how extensive the training days are. I always regret going to this Costa branch, prefer local small businesses any day. P.S. - The amount of 5-star reviews by people with only 1 review on their profile says a lot. 🙃

A bit silly to put desserts in with the hot food. Arrived completely crushed and melted. Half my drink turned up because it was not packaged tight enough and so it was found spilt on arrival.

I had a drink in this Costa place in Arnos Grove. Michaella is a very smiley person working really hard asking everyone if was everything alright. I would give her 10stars if I could.

I used to be a regular here, despite the shortcomings I thought they would improve over time but I cannot bring myself to come here anymore. My patience is gone with this place. My last few visits here were unpleasant. Every other week or so there are new staff who don't know what they are doing or don't understand English. What part of "Decafinated" do you not understand?! I had to repeat my order to the staff several times and still they keep getting it wrong. The last time I ordered a decafinated latte, I don't know what they put in it but there was a high dose of caffeine in it. As a result I couldn't sleep for 2 days, this lack of sleep impacted my performance at work which reduced my productivity. This could have been avoided if the staff were trained properly and understood English. This is caused by the manager's bad decision making. The staff keep giving me a takeaway when I specifically tell them I am "eating in". I regularly eat in, but they still insist on giving me my hot drink in a paper cup which is for takeouts. When I remind them I am drinking in, the rude staff always get annoyed at me as if I'm the problem. They sigh and roll their eyes and reluctantly pour my drink into a proper cup. They never apologise for their mistakes. Why do they bother asking "eating in or takeaway" when they don't even listen to their customers? If you cannot communicate with with customers properly you shouldn't be dealing with customers at all. The manager should not have hired these people in the first place. On top of that, the staff are always miserable. In my last visit I ordered a sausage roll, the member of staff did not know how to use the cooker in order to heat it. The queue kept getting longer and longer due to her incompetence. Eventually she had to ask another member of staff for help. Again this is due to poorly trained staff because the manager is too lazy to do it. The only positive thing I can think of is the food. No complaints there. They come pre-packaged anyway. The sandwiches are tasty and filling. The atmosphere here is dull compared to all the other Costa branches I've been to. The lighting is dim. The music is loud. Every time I come here I see tables that need cleaning, this goes back to overworked staff who cannot keep up with a huge workload due to a staff shortage. All of this is the manager's fault because there is a pattern of untrained staff and poor quality service. The manager is never present nor on duty. If I am expected to pay an extortionate amount of money for something as simple as a latte or a hot chocolate I can at least expect the service to be better. I will no longer be giving my money to this franchise anymore. From now on I go to Gina's bakery down the road instead where the service is more humane, they understand English, and the atmosphere is much better, and the quality of the food is better too. I support local cafes now.

Very cosy and warm neighbourhood feel, the staff are very friendly and make excellent coffee. Especially Shaila and Krishna. When they are here I am sure I am safe hands 😊👍

I would have given no star if I had the choice. In a not busy coffee shop I've been served my espresso in a take away cup without being asked if I'm having it in. Then when I asked would I have it in a drink in cup the batista told me that the dishwasher is not working for 3 days, which is not an excuse to me as a customer when they could wash the cup by hand. When I suggest it that, I've been told "rude" for saying that it could be washed by hand. I wouldn't be going there again

You could put up a sign stating CASH ONLY so we wouldn't wait in the queue for 10 mins only for you to say it at the till.

Got a drink on the way to the station, this is meant to be a summer berry cooler but was foamy and split. It was unbearably sweet and ultimately ended up in the bin.

The slowest service in the world this halil guy wont stop talking!!! The queue is out the door he just doesnt care!!!

Highly recommended this coffee shop. Every time I went there I was really happy with the service and the coffee it’s really good.

The guys here are very good: Costa provided a ramp for a wheelchair which they happily put out for us whenever we visit 😁

Wonderful Costa Coffe shop located in close proximity to Arnos Grove Station, always been a go to before a commute. Beautifully prepared coffees that give you a nice lift in the morning/afternoon, preparing you for the rest of the day. Offers plenty of seating inside and a few tables outside. Customer service is lovely as always. 5* Would recommend on overall experience 👍🏼

Friendly staff and atmosphere. Buyana (not sure I spelt it right) was very friendly and attentive. She greeted me with a smile (which was there throughout my transaction period till I left). She was cleaning and immediately stopped her work to come serve me and make sure I was alright. She made me a beautiful latte with the ever so specific measurement of chocolate that I asked for. This is definitely my new go-to-every-morning coffee place. I was having a bad day and the little thing that Buyana did made my day. Thank you to her :)

Did not to wait long. It was a take away, but I noticed that you could not sit in.

I went there with my dad to have coffee and enjoy the time with him but unfortunately under the table that we sat it was full with bread crumbs so we ask the barista to wipe the crumbles away but no response, very dirty store and not a friendly service poor quality for Costa Coffee in this store
