Costa Coffee in Cardiff

Excellent place to meet up with friends before the big shop in St. David's 😀

Coffee is nice, it was busy considering it’s Sunday morning. But the lady at the cashier seems very unhappy/annoyed when you order a bit extra (it was only 2 drinks and 2 cake) The shop is in a little mess but there was only 2 staff before 11. (1 cashier 1 barista) Another 2 staff starts at 11 and cleared all table quickly.

Very quick service, no queue although it was lunch (Tuesday). Food was nice. I had a cheese and tomato toastie and an innocent smoothie, both of which were nice.

Cafe was quiet at the time but got busier as I left. Staff were lovely, very happy. The lemon tart was full of flavour and the hot choclate too.

Had a cup of mocha the quality of the drink was very good and this branch is situated in a Tesco store but unfortunately I think it's under staffed as there were lots and lots of cups waiting to be collected on the tables, but I will visit again as it's very convenient and the drink was good

Lovely Costa coffee shop within tescos, nice little stop from the supermarket shopping.

Room for improvement Table grubby and sticky. Needs a clean!! Latte like dishwater , not even hot, blonde girl serving needs more training maybe..... Not very friendly or happy face. # Sunday afternoon cuppa & Cake 🦆 🙈

Drink wasn't bad but plates and cutlery were dirty. Tables also weren't clean - don't think i'd visit again.

Can be potentially good, depending on which staff happen to be on Shift. Can equally be great or terrible, depending.

Popped in before shopping. Nice and relaxing at 0745, plenty of covid secure seating to choose from. Server was friendly, helpful and polite.

It's a shame as I did not find the staff very friendly at llantrisant this time. As we got to the door we saw them throwing the toasties behind the counter, when I asked if we could have one they said no. They did not ask me to scan my app. So I showed them my phone held it to the scanner thought it had scanned until I got to my table. Was not given receipt Atmospher very miserable and unfriendly communication very poor. Won't be going there again for a long time

Great baristas, however there is rarely places to sit during busier times. However the tables are always cleared quickly and staff are well trained 👌🏻

Went to drive through. Requested reusable cups but none available. Asked for sugar sachets and was told they'd been put in the coffee but when we arrived at our destination to drink our coffees , no sugar had been added. Not happy!☹️

Costa coffee is great. I tend to use this store often after the parkrun. It gets to be very busy soon after the parkrun finishes ... so from 9:30 to 11 it is choca with queues and standing room only. I persist as it is the place to be for a catch-up with all my running friends. But here's a thought Costa ... service at this peak period is far too slow so why not also have one of your self-service machines on the go too ... you'll get extra business!

Excellent as usual happy staff and cups and plates cleared away very quickly.

I never drink at costa anywhere in the country way to expensive

Nice Costa, as usual busy but luckily plenty of seating. It's a shame there are no specific toilets associated and you have to use the general Tesco toilets.

Nice coffee nice staff. Not enough big armchairs though.

Not a peaceful place for a coffee but it's not that bad. It's inside tesco so expect a lot of people walking around.

Staff are great. Coffee is always good and toast is great value but I can never give more than 4 stars because of Costas lack of vegan options

Very good parking, great place for a quick coffee and snack whilst shopping. This is part of a Tesco store, so not as quirt and private as a regular Costa.

Staff very friendly, food was great but coffee not as nice as normal (seasonal blend - don't bother!)

Regulars here now and they are always friendly and approachable favourite costa.

Always love Costa and Tesco Extra is the ideal place to go.

Visited costa today to be served by a very rude So called manager, disrespectful attitude and very poor customer service, was really rude to my grandmother will not be returning ever again

Favourite coffee place. Serves hot drinks iced coolers cakes and sandwiches.

Ridiculously overpriced coffee, nice taste but it's still only a cup of coffee. Save a packet daily and make it yourself :)

Asked for a wet latte but got one that definitely was not. The girl did replace it after saying it was fine, which it was not. The replacement was fine. Never happened before but put right. Mum in laws hit chocolate was good. Very handy as in the cinema complex

In general it was fine. Service was friendly n fast, but tables not cleared or cleaned over from previous customers. Could've asked for table to be cleaned but I'd got my food n drink by then.This Costa I'd inside a Tesco Extra nr Cardiff.

Coffee was Luke warm. And by the time the froth was off it was only half a cup!!

Really nice and cosy location. Staff were really friendly and polite. Clean and tidy.
