Costa Coffee in Thurrock

It's in the wrong location, according to Google Maps. It's actually next to the shopping centre.... Quite a nice size coffee shop and fast service for a Sunday afternoon.

Went here for breakfast as I live close by. Got my usual Fudge Brownie Frappuccino and food bits and when I went to the till I was greeted by a cheerful young lady who was keen to take my order. Once I had sat down and tried my drink, I realised this was the best version of my favourite drink I'd ever had...perfect amount of everything and wonderful presentation too. Super happy experience, lovely customer service and exceptional drink-making...what more could you need from a Costa?! Huge thank you and well done to Lashana.

Stopped for brunch and coffee and to do some work whilst waiting for a meeting. Staff were friendly, Wifi was ok and they served my go to Costa food of porridge and a latte so I was happy. Toilets need a code from your receipt to open the door which I was a bit surprised at.

Toilets out of order for more the 6 months, staff extremely rude about the situation when confronted! Total disappointment !

Worst staffs in Grays high street costa. . Costa lakeside has very pleasant staffs and clean. Grays high street costa one of the staff was standing doing nothing inside the till. There was long queue. When we are running in the lunch break time, if they are not fast it’s difficult. When I asked the lady to warm up the sandwich while I’m waiting in the queue to pay, she stilll wanted to chill and stand there doing nothing. In addition the costa in grays feels stuffy with horrible smell. I won’t be surprised if they have lazy staffs

Always love Costa but the person serving can always change the Atmosphere. Today me and my daughter were served by Hyde who from the start was smiling and engaging in small talk with us, she has lovely people skills and was happy to answer questions making us feel comfortable and heard when ordering. She is Credit to the company.

I didn't get my Terry's chocolate muffin everything else was here other than the muffin. Got a upset little girl now

Too noisy, can't hear yourself talking, pots and cups seem to be clean, chesee sandwich was ok, nothing special, tissues are extremely poor quality doesn't adjust the prices They're charging for what they serve, toilets are out of order which is not acceptable, serving food without toilet facilities mustn't be allowed, won't be visiting again to eat but may visit for a cup of coffee 🙄

Despite the delivery instructions being very clear, the driver still went to the wrong school and the he was visibly annoyed at me because I wasn't there! Coffee's were cold and had to be heated in the microwave.

Frustrating and lost my hope with just eat

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere & music. Air con is always on which helps in the summer. Most importantly the coffee is consistently excellent where as other costas in the area are inconsistent. The only negative is the toilets are always closed. Overall the staff deserve a big pat on there backs 😊

If you are looking for a coffee place in town, then Costa is one of the best. Good service, food, and coffee. Nice atmosphere in this particular branch. Always clean and tidy.

Costa, in Grays, Essex, makes the best Caramel Latte. Piping hot (at my request) not warm and super frothy and tasty. The lemon curd tart is also such a naughty treat. Staff friendly and nice to see how efficient they are cleaning tables

9 times out of 10 I do go in Costa for my coffee and tost ..staff lovely(hence the stars) and food not bad. But I go in three today when it opens to order my coffee and toast only to find the machine is still in the order of warming up still and will take 20 minutes before my tost will be put through ???? I work around Costa them shall I ?...Ive got nothing better to do.. ??? ..this has never happened to when Costa has open the doors ... And I e being go there for about a year .

Toastie was stone cold when it came.. I only live 5 minutes away from the store so it shouldn't have been cold at all. I also asked for cream on my frozen drink and I didnt receive that either.

The coffee was just what I needed after a busy morning. The smiley welcome from the lady staff was warming and the speed of my coffee being on my table by the male staff member was the quickest I have ever been served. Well done to Costa

The ambience is still pretty good. It was nice to know there are new additions to the menu for the winter season. Despite ordering to eat-in, I had to suddenly leave. The staff were so helpful in giving me a cup and lid to empty my half finished drink into. Edit: I change my mind. I give it a 5* for their longevity in good customer service.

They had lots of discounted sandwishes,so we saved a lot of money..the staff was very pleasant and as it was early,we really enjoyed the visit.

Stopped at the half way point of a ride. Allowed to take bikes inside to drink and eat cake! Helpful staff.

I went today afternoon time around 12.30pm for tuna toast and Mozilla and tomato toast, 3 people working there, 2 girls and one guy, one white girl served me, I was surprised when I saw she is cutting toast with same knife where she used for cutting tuna!!! As far as I know vegetables and fish and meat always need to use separate knife or cutter. Worst experience...:(

It’s nice to have a Costa in Grays. Nice atmosphere whenever I have visited. Following COVID cleanliness guidelines with hand sanitiser, someone constantly cleaning and glass shields up at counter. Fast service and kind staff.

Worst customer service ever! Two girls at the counter... no hello... one looked like she is about to punch me... felt so unwelcome!

I love the understated quality environment. Smart, friendly and professional staff. Great service and refreshment.

2 stars is for customer service. Staff member unfortunately didn't speak English that well and no receipt was issued as seems to be the norm these days. Only later was it discovered that the points weren't added by the staff member. Coffee was fine, the missing points are lost forever!

The male staff is so rude and has an attitude and as soon as I started to order the female staff was on her phone but did apologise for being on her phone. However, the attitude just put me off and he is just purely rude and obnoxious when I kindly asked him where I can find the sugars and everything else. The atmosphere however is very nice.

What to say. A nice standard Costa.

The spiced apple tea was lovely. The temporary season vegan mince pie was not bad. However this was all they had for vegans. Since there are alot more vegans now, you'd think that we would be catered for. Not even a salad wrap.
