Costa Coffee in Hillingdon

Well located with good seats whilst waiting for your arrival. Higher than normal pricing but this is the standard for gouging a captive market.

Very pleasant Costa that is always open. There are also some seats, so you can wait a bit if you pick someone up. I always stock up on coffee here when I arrive before getting on the tube to London. The employees are very nice and extremely fast. There are lots of sandwiches, cakes and also cold drinks. This is my favorite place to go when you arrive at Heathrow because you can get your drink quickly and don't have to take a detour.

Lack of basic customer service and limited English! Bought a flatbread sandwich and a coffee and asked for the flatbread to be toasted. The ladies behind the counter were more interested in talking to each other than serving customers. While waiting for my sandwich I noticed that it had been dropped on the floor when being removed from the toaster. I wasn’t told anything and when I asked when it would be ready, received a response of “two mins”. Another lady had gone to their storage room and returned with another which was just slapped into the microwave and handed to me. It looked absolutely disgusting and nothing like what a toasted one should look like. I asked for a refund which was processed but no sign of an apology or anything. Please teach your staff to be honest and professional. Never again! 😠

Excellent place to have cake and coffee while waiting for your flight. I like the decor. They also had plenty of seating but was crowded, but I was still able to find a seat.. I like the lemon cake and carrot cake

Quite busy place. However, it is not very clean. Earlier , I asked the drinks to be made again and they refused. Extremely disappointed

Rude waitress. No coffee menu at all in the international arrivals after a 12 hour flight so the smart thing to do for the waitress is to read out at a rapid pace the list of coffees and teas as though I am a retard. No points for that I’m afraid. And no Costa for me on my holiday in the UK.

Nice coffee early in the morning at Heathrow T5. The staff are friendly and quick helping the customers. Good team work even in busy times

I saw mice running around peoples feet as they ate last night. How long does this infestation have to carry on for before something is done? I can't imagine what it looks like behind the scenes. Yuk!

I left today (07.29.2024) a bag with my Jacket inside it, I’m calling but nobody answered can you please check if is there so I can go and get it. Is a Beige Woman jacket with gold buttons, you can cinched at the waist and is inside a DutyFree Bag.

Costa coffee in Heathrow airport terminal 5. There are mice running around the place. A health inspection should be in place.

Costa flat white coffee - it's OK but McDonald's is better and less expensive.

Years ago this used to be a good Costa but sadly customer service and product quality is now poor. Ignored at the checkout, served at another with staff more interested in themselves than customers. Plenty of other better options not spoilt by being so well located!

The worst iced coffee I’ve ever had and it cost £4.65. There shouldn’t be much effort to it need a new recipe asap because this is robbery. Tasted like sewage.

Has nice seating and atmosphere. But, Ordered a Hot milkshake while leaving the airport but I think staff wasn't aware of any ingredients. I think might have used the wrong syrup for my drink. Awful taste. Couldn't really go back as after a long flight....tired..... I think staff must be fully aware of what they making for safety and especially at the airport...

Mostly tables are not good condition staff un respectful

Staff is rude I mistakenly went ahead to pick someone’s order which was wrapped so could not figure out it wasn’t mine and person at the counter gave a look. He himself was not sure whose order it was in the first place.

I am normally a regular customer of Costa but the medium cappuccino I just bought from this branch was disgusting. The milk had been overheated to the extent that it smelt burnt and even scalded my mouth, which does not normally happen with a cappuccino. Unfortunately I was rushing for a bus and could not go back and get it changed. Will not buy here again - the baristas are not well trained.

Super friendly service and great coffee and hot chocolate. Was waiting for someone and their drink got cold, and the barista offered to make the drink anew. Greatly appreciated!

One word. Slow! Huge lines and slow service. They need to ramp up the number of staff at an airport location.

Here with a 13 hour layover at terminal 5 all the restaurants closed to take a cab to a nearby Cafe is nearly 50 us dollars so here we wait drinking coffee and coco wait for breakfast at the terminal restaurants which open around 5 and 6 am

Very careless and rude staff member overnight: the young lady hit my foot passing by with her trolley, never apologised, later hit my elbow with her trolley, never even noticed! Wow!

Where do you find the useful idiots you employ at this location who while having 4 tills tell customers that they must line in two ques. There is no sign but very rude sales staff which does what ever the hell they want. Had to go to Nero to get a coffee without nuts heads talking some nonsense.

There were flies in the food display cabinet, the Asian staff who was serving me was unfriendly and impatient even when there was no que, I was tired from my flight and needed a coffee but I wasn't sure about the cup sizes and he wasn't happy when I asked him to show me the difference. 27 Aug 2023, evening.

Dirtiest airport cafe I have ever seen (in the world)! I saw many little flies walking, wandering or playing🤢🤮 on their cake. Coffee is ok and service is great. But you can run a cafe like this!

Really nice, lots of space and if you get tea to have in they serve you a pot of tea. There’s a view of the fountains outside from some tables as well.

It’s just like any other. Enjoyed the drink and food, then I looked up at the prep area and all over you see dust dangling off the beams over the counters. How are they getting away with that.

The nearest coffee outlet to the international arrivals exit at Terminal 5, so it is very busy, but you can usually find a seat as the turnover is high. Costa has the best coffee, in my opinion, plus their food is better than most other similar outlets. Try the Muffins they are a highlight for me!

Seats are totally disgusting and costs more then a Starbucks as in airport. What a disgrace, welcome to the UK.

Tables and chairs are disgusting and embarrassing way to greet foreigners and welcome back family. Shame on you Costa and Heathrow Airport for allowing such low standards.

Slowest Costa ever. No sense of urgency, given this is an airport that's not customer oriented

A rather deflating experience by staff that were uncommitted to their roles. Multiple communication issues, team members who placed social distraction above customer service, failure to appreciate people in the queue are time limited due to the airport environment. Alas our order was both incomplete and wrong, Costa seems to be fine outside of Heathrow but they appear to have hired the first person that came through the door rather than the best person. Sorry to say but that’s the reality.

It’s Costa coffee, so you know what you are getting. Only reason for the 5 stars is the extremely cheerful and friendly member of staff who helped us. She brightened a pretty full and very early morning!

Costa is costa, but u fortunately this is one of the slowest I’ve ever visited, and I can say that as I visit this costa quite often when travelling. If perhaps the staff could reserve a little of the effort they put in to having a laugh with each other and put that in to serving the massive queue it would improve dramatically.

Save your money and spend it somewhere else. Went in and got two coffee and two sandwiches, got billed 70 £. Was sure he said 17, but he was creative and gave no reciept. An e-mail to Costa has not been replied to, so I guess they accept this way og making business. I recommend you spend your money elsewhere.

Seats are completely worn to pieces with rotting food and mould inside the seats from spilt drinks. It impossible to clean inside a foam seat so obviously very dirty and unhygienic. Not a good look for visiting coats in the UK at the airport. Definitely an extremely bad advertisement and probably costing the company far more than the cost of new materials.

DISGUSTING SEATS - RIPPED AND STAINED !!! What on earth is COSTA doing ? God knows what kind of impression this must give to overseas visitors to our flagship airport. Really not impressed, they are an embarrassment to Costa and a huge embarrassment to Heathrow. Shame on Costa for not spending money to improve

I had US dollars, and I bought 12 pounds worth of stuff I only had 100 US dollars and when the girl at the checkout changed it she gave me back 58 pounds... he charged me 30 dollars just for changing the currency. and when I asked her why the money she kept was so much, she told me that this is how the store does it. unacceptable that they keep so much money for changing the currency

Costa coffee is pretty reliable with their quality of beverages, cakes and so on, but ... considering the amount of customers they have daily at terminal 5, and the money that is going through the tills, the time for an upgrade is grossly overdue. The seats are ripped and very stained, in fact i didn't dare sit on them in my white trousers. Come on Costa, treat your customers to a pleasant experience. You are the first impression of Britain a lot of travellers have.

How dirty is this place? Sitting here with a cuppa waiting for my husbands flight to arrive. I seem to have lots of company in the form of rodents. I told a member of staff he acknowledged it by thanks for letting me know. I suppose it’s not a big deal.

I had my coffee and I was chilling and all of sudden I saw a mouse running up and down, when a guy sut to the table where the mouse was, I saw it going to the kitchen. Actually there is also a video ,Google Heathrow mouse and you will see what I mean. It's rediculous I asked one of the staf and he said yes I know there is a mouse and he was laughing. How come a coffee shop with a famous branch located in thr airport ignoring this and not taking any measurements?

Heathrow T5 Costa needs to be shut down seats and tables are filthy

Yesterday I had the worst coffee at this Costa. I like Costa in general and am a regular customer so I know how their latte should look and taste like. What I received was a white americano. When I complained the staff said that this is how latte should be. When I challenged again all they did instead of making a new coffee was removing some coffee and adding a bit of hot milk and froth on top. It was boiling hot, the milk was burnt it was undrinkable. I binned it and left. I also fancied a cinnamon bun for the road but then saw it was full of flies as per picture taken.

Extremely slow. Considering we are in the airport, they should be way faster… very disappointed.

This is a really nice cafe, the coffee is excellent. Unfortunately the Chocolate Twist was as dry as bones.

Absolutely lovely staff at this really important Costa. The staff make it what it is. Unfortunately some of the infrastructure needs refurbishment. With a customer footfall rate as high as this place gets, the management ought to realise the need for constant replacement of the parts of the seating that wear out, get torn, or get coffee dropped on. It's not rocket science. You are letting your staff down.

The experience with the staff was extremely poor. The young man on the team is Ill tempered. That was surprisingly shocking for me since I’ve visited many branches of costa. Appalled to have met with him.

Wait there on a comfy sofa/chair while waiting. Same price as high Street Costa, same high quality coffee.

I'm here now. Frankly this place is so unclean and dirty I cannot understand why its open. The seating is stained and dirty and I had to ask a member of staff to clean one of the filthy ,marked tables. Had I first seen the filthy place I wouldn't have come here I feel very unhappy about this experience. No one would have filthy torn seating at home like this. Shame on You Costa!!

Staff are very friendly and helpful, drinks are standard but dear lord the place needs a spruce up. It looks like they rescued half the furniture from a fire at the local primary school. The other half have stains so ingrained you could conduct Rorschach tests using them. Seems all the money's been spent on the overhead light show which thrilled a nearby child for a few seconds. Come on Costa, let your staff work in a dignified environment.

Need a coffee? The independent coffee house you would usually frequent is an hour away or it’s not open? In Terminal 5 arrivals, where can you get your coffee fix? Costa Coffee, step forwards. I could use this review as a board to put these chain cafes down. I won’t. They serve a purpose. Service isn’t warm and personable. Coffee isn’t bursting with flavour. but at least it is consistent. I’m missing Birmingham’s independent artisan coffee shops already :(

Costa product and food are good as usual, the servers behind the counter were very helpful, the only thing is the state of the seats and tables, they were very dirty and torn, it only takes a visit from the area manager to find out 😱

Asked for iced coffee was given a cup with instead coffee cold milk and about 20 ice cubes floating on the top. Worst coffee ever and over priced I would have taken it back but there were too many people in front of me . Thank you Costa Coffee

Amazing service!!! I had a problem and they were extremely helpful. I'll always buy food from there when I'm in the airport from now on. Thank you for helping me out, some day I'll pass it on. The coffee warmed my heart.

Expected the shop to be open as it says 24h/24, but the employee told me it was closed ( 2h15 am) so I guess it s because of the pandemic but please change the times on the page. Also, I saw a rat running through the place so I probably wouldn't have gotten my coffee there anyway...
