Costa Coffee in Calderdale

This is a decent Costa Coffee situated inside a Tesco. It's usually always busy due to the fact its in a supermarket. Can sometimes be a bit of a wait due to the busyness. Full range of items available!

Excellent service and facility sadly spoiled recently by an increase in constant Tesco tannoy announcements making it more difficult to have conversations or just relax...Time for a change Def cutting back on friend and family meetings here becsuse its absolute nonsense trying to talk over continuous announcements of a caller at the staff door. Is this the best Tesco can do to communicate a simple message staff everywhere have head sets ..pathetic! RECENTLY "3 tannoys close together "re visitor etc" Which makes 6 because every announcement is repeated twice! Terrible

Friendly staff great coffea love the compliments and the perfume was by CAROLINA HERRERA BADBOY to the waitress that had asked.

How ever busy they are standards not dropped, pleasant staff service good excellent coffee what more do you want !

The staff here remember my favourite drink and are lovely to see in a morning. The only downside and this is not the staff's doing, there is very little Gluten free options.

Staff are always so rude here they behave as if they are forced to work there, the customer in front of me ordered a hot sandwich and drink as soon as she moved on the lady serving her really loudly announced “Who comes to Costa and doesn’t even order a coffee” I’ve never had a pleasant experience at this place.

One of the nicest COSTA's locally, can be really busy at weekends. Staff are polite, my Fav Drink is a Chai Latte, with Cinnamon. For some reason COSTA has not stocked in most outlets now (also noticed this with other items not being available). Prices have risen but COSTA charges for extras and these can be eye watering, 2x marshmallows 50p, cream 25p. Overall I do like COSTA, but they need to look at helping their customers with their prices. There is a COST OF LIVING CRISIS and people and families are struggling.

They need a wait to be seated sign, but instead a member of staff was chasing customers around aggressively telling them to wait with the person ordering, there are ways of talking to customers to explain situations without being all out rude.

The staff are really, really good at this Costa.

I recently visited Costa with my sister in law. Her husband, my brother, passed away recently. The staff at Costa knew him as a regular customer and their sympathy, attention and genuine care was exceptional, and also very touching. Their personal service left me speechless. Respect.

Friendly staff.. Great place to sit and relax after a shop in tescos or even worth a visit if you don't need to visit tescos. The tables get cleaned quickly in-between customers.

The coffee shop sits within Tesco's, so it suits on many levels. The staff are friendly and there's plenty of parking.

Good coffee and good service but there is a silly promotion In flow. Twenty five pence extra to try a new roast of latte. Surely to promote you reduce the price not increase it. Perhaps it's in the name costa cost ya. Get it?

Very disappointed at Halifax tesco Costa this morning customer service was appalling.

Lovely place to people watch and meet your friends for a coffee and catch up,highly recommend the salted caramel latte with soya milk.

Was a great place to go after buying replacement pants

Inside Tesco and has lots of seating. Fast friendly service. Hot and cold drinks. Cakes, snacks and sandwiches. Toilets (including disabled) in Tesco

Apathetic unhelpful staff. Hot chocolate with cream is more like hot chocolate with mush on top. Had to ask for knives, serviettes and spoons- thought I had asked them for the earth. Poor used to be a great friendly staff team. Not for me anymore. Won't be returning.

Amazing coffee (From a non-coffee drinker's perspective) and amazing hot chocolate. The Christmas specials; Gingerbread latte and billionaire's hot chocolate are the best! Albeit that Costa is very expensive: 4/5
