Ordered a latte, and I have to say it doesn't even taste anything like coffee. Once upon a time, Costa was my pick of the bunch, not any longer.

I called in Friday tea time on my way to the lakes. It must have been very busy as the selection of sandwiches was very limited. As usual with Costa your always guaranteed a good coffee. The area was very quiet at the time of our visit and we were on our own in the seating area.

I go here when charging my car. Great that it is open 24 hours and the lady who served me was very nice. (Most people at 6am are quite taciturn)

I don't normally visit Costa Coffee, and I was left feeling most unimpressed. When we arrived, there was no queue, so we ordered and paid for 4 drinks and waited on one side for them to be prepared. In the meantime, a queue formed behind us, and 2 drinks were placed on the counter. We had to ask if they were ours and then had to ask 5 minutes later where the remainder of our order was. The staff behind the counter did not seem to have a clue as to whose drinks they were serving and to whom they were serving them. The drinks were not labelled as to their contents, and, at the table, we had a lovely time tasting and guessing what each cup contained. We were not given a receipt so had to ask what the pin number was for the toilets. Frankly, I was disappointed with the whole experience, and will not be visiting again.

Very hectic took a while to get my fapp the amercino was cool we had to heat up in mircowave, and we didn't have any food

The usual Costa coffee and light bites, but the woman who served us early this morning (lass with glasses finishing at 7am) made our hard day much much better with her humour and quality service. Thank you very much.

Not the best Costa around. Tables and chairs always dirty. Place needs a proper clean but saying that the whole of the services here aren't great.

Amazing service from Jade at the drive-through, so friendly and helpful. I wish more people gave this level of customer service made us smile despite a 2 hour motorway delay.

AVOID AT ALL COSTa!!! Just called here to pick up a cappuccino and a strawberry lemonade, but now wish I hadn't bothered! No one behind the counter when we got there, shop was empty, (always a bad sign) 2 very young lads appeared (eventually) and I ordered the drinks. My daughter was basically given pink water and had to ask for more syrup to be put in, so she could taste it! I didn't check mine until we were back in the car, on the motorway BIG MISTAKE... HUGE!!! How do i describe what was in my cup? 🤔 Well, it was frothy.. I stirred in my sugar and the froth disolved leaving behind HALF a cup of bitter, watery liquid that was the most disgusting thing I've ever put in my mouth... Yes! It was worse than that!

I only wanted a cup of tea, I waited and waited in the end 32 minuets, I went back to the counter to ask the problem he said there was 16 orders in front of me, there where only 2 tables occupied in the whole place one with 3 people one with 4. I only 2anted a cup of tea, he could have made that anyway but he seemed totally incompatant as did the other 3 staff that where stood around talking I never saw them deliver anything. Never again.....

I ve given £5.00 HGV voucher to pay for goods, and got coffee for £3.50, where is £1.50 gone, never been offered a purchase receipt, hmmm oh well No change given. I will avoid dear motoroway services at all costs. Coffee there is not better from the one prepared at home, l don’t understand weird people who want to drink from those fancy cups. Just polluting the environment. People must be desperate to get a sip of expensive coffee on the go. No more comments £5.00 per a cup of coffee is more expensive then in British airways plane when onboard. Maybe next year it will be £10.00 per cup of coffee and they will still get customers. OMG it is only 400ml coffee, why???? Is it liquid from the Gods or what. In Poland l would buy 4 big 660ml high 6% beers in glass bottles. XD. So no more coffee for me.

Wouldn't serve me 10 mins before closing, I only wanted a coffee for takeaway. I appreciate the staff need time to close down and clean up but surely that should be taken into account and they should be paid the extra half an hour it takes to close down and not turn customers away when the sign says it's open.

I wasn't in Costa . We got food from Greegs which I don't have to say was delicious 😋. All the café are together in this service station. I have had coffee in Costa before here, and it was nice.

What a rip off for a cold cup of dish water

Listing states open 24 hours but its currently 19:20 on a Saturday night and just been told that they're closed. Pretty sure I've been here way later than this as it's our usual stop on the way home from Manchester. Poor.

Despite stating 24hour it does shut for around 30mins opening at 11pm. The lady who served us definitely made up for the wait what a lovely member of staff, a credit to the place she was.

Not the best service I've had at Costa, the staff seemed too busy with their own conversation about how quiet it was rather than serving me. If it was so quiet, you would have thought a customer would have been a little more important. 3 staff one customer. Oh well, better luck next time.

Standard Costa in a motorway services

Who doesn't like a good coffee and a chill out. This is the perfect place to chill out.. even better with friends. Always good service, and you are not pressured to drink n go like some places. Im not saying my favourite sandwich, because they are all good..Oh and cake, well they are the best ..cake and coffee yummy.

Expected a decent Costa coffee ☕ and wasn't disappointed - good quick service, pukka coffee and a sandwich (I save my Costa beans up to counter service uplift charges - little tip to save you money 🤑) Always busy at this service station, but never any huge queues - really well run Moto 🤩🍰☕

Nice tidy little Costa service area outlet for a quick rest, coffee, bite to eat etc. Relaxing atmosphere. We particularly liked our coffee in "proper china cups" too many outlets use paper cups. Staff were fantastically friendly and approachable.

A milk for latte is always overheated. Is so annoying to wait over 15 minutes before is possible to drink... It is so unprofessional....

Never open on time . Turned up at 6:30am on 4/2/22 to find it closed again. The lights or on but unfortunately no coffee ready for about 30mins .

I have been here 3 times now on an evening in the past month. To be told on ALL 3 times that the coffee machine is being cleaned and it'll take 10-15 mins for it to be cleaned and that there is Costa machines inside the Service Station. But that defeats the purpose of a DRIVE THRU! Last night we were there at 6.49pm, previous times I was there at 7pm and at 7.05pm.

Just been to a drive through Costa Coffee at Birch Services M62. simple offer "flat white" when handed over I double checked and was reassured it was. once back on the road I had my first sip ❌ not a flat white.. not even sure what it is. just terrible. I'll never use any Costa drive through again. peddlers of s#1t

Really poor service. I paid for a caramel shot and was not given one. I couldn't go back as I had entered the motorway when I found out. The lady also never accepted my Costa voucher. She explained they don't accept them but her demeanor was awful. Either she didn't like me or she was having a bad day, I don't know but this impacted my customer experience.

There's often limited food options at this drive thru. Today there was no food at all! NOTHING!

I was at this Costa around 730 in the morning on Saturday 12 June the lady serving me was absolutely brilliant she was smiling and that in this day and age is very hard to find .daft has it sounds she made my day start with a laugh. Just wish I got her name

Shopping experience is good, unfortunately while every other supermarket cafe has reopened Sainsburys is still closed which puts me off going as invariably shopping with my elderly mother who liked lunch after her shop. Will not be back til it is opened. Can not see what the problem is!
