Costa Coffee in Dudley

Maxine was super smiley! I think she was a manager as she seemed to be delegating to her other colleague. It's so nice to see a manager being supportive, kind and informative towards other staff. I'd like to work for Maxine 😊

Next Costa : Short blonde haired lady was found quiet rude when there was a mess up on there side with the order. The trainee was lovely tho!

The one upstairs by the food court is by far the worst Costa in the UK. Snail-pace service and so many errors with the order, I thought I might be secretly being filmed for You’ve Been Framed or something.

Went here to grab some hot drinks with the family after lunch around 1:30pm today 5/11/23, the counter staff seems like not so happy to serve us today, and need to add extra for a smile. My large black americano got more headspace than usual, and the ginger spiced latte is as weak as the smile from the person, the hot chocolate is spot on. I am not asking for ear to ear smile, just the feeling of us being there and welcoming eye to eye contract is nice.

3rd Costa we tried for the new Maple Hazle Latte and still not available??

I go to Costa often. There are a lot of drink choices I do find there isn’t much food choices in Costa. And as someone with strict dietary restrictions, it’s quiet difficult to choose something. Costa isn’t exactly expensive, it’s average overall it’s good food and amazing drinks.

They quite often don't have any sandwiches. Lovely coffee Pleasant staff

Bad coffee, coming from a guy that drinks Italian coffee every day. Watered down brown liquid. Would not recommend.

I like from time to time go here and just relax and have a cup of coffee and not to stress about life. It would be better if cost offers more options in the patisserie like French style. I have be to patisserie Valerie and their options are great I wish costa do something similar.

Waiting 15mins to order a coffee because the staff couldnt find bags for delivery orders, so them both decided to search the whole shop for the bags, instead of serving customers Well done. Thank you

Decided to stop for a coffee at what had been a long busy day. All the staff were very friendly, appoachable and helpful. Made my day.

Big Loyal customer of Costa but had Worse hot Drinks at this place , they charge you full for festive drinks but dont have materials to make one and make excuses. If they can’t serve as advertised should not charge customers. Very much disappointed, Costa need to train and put quality checks in place.

I asked for my coffee to be not too hot. Surprisingly, it was hotter than the sun!

Probably the worst Costa I have ever visited, behind the counter is disgusting and Im convinced the almond milk mocha I asked for was made with cows milk as I watched them take almond milk out of the fridge and then make it with milk already in a jug and not use it, I will know later on today....

Ordered a special frappe drink, they had ran out of some ingredients, didn't offer any alternatives. Sold out of ginger bread men (my son loves these), didn't offer an alternate, just advised to look at the front! Given conflicting messages by the staff, went in about 20 mins before closing, asked if I could stay seated after they closed (baring in mind this Costa is in the middle of a next superstore). One staff member said, yeah fine, no probs. I sit down and get my 2 year old out of his pushchair, sit down, start drinking and then a different staff member comes over and says we're closing and you'll need to get out. Sort it out Costa, which is it, yes I can eat in or no I can't?????

Seems they don't care about clean tables. You have to ask staff to clean tables so you can get a seat, the place wasn't even that busy. It looks like they leave tables dirty just so that others won't come in.

Service was slow only 2 staff working so delay was to be expected could of done with more staff

Can not beat a Costa coffee. Always my go to for a good cup of coffee

Nice and comfortable and not busy at all at the time of our visit. Staff were very friendly and efficient in our order. And as for the Coffee, well what can I say it was Costa, a nice cup of coffee, not my favourite Café Nero but a good second choice.

On top of Next in Merry Hill (hell)...really quiet and relaxed in there and pleasant staff.

It's was around 1pm yesterday (sunday) I along with my mother and daughter sat down and looked at the drinks I went over to order and was told to leave as they closing ... no explanation at all .... very rude and unprofessional

Staff very friendly, not very busy in there either so didn't have to wait long

The girls serving were so lovely and kind with great service style. They were so sweet and made us feel welcome.

The cash machine wasn't working and they had to restart the payment application making us wait for almost 10 mins. The place wasn't that clean either. The taste of the cortado wasn't as great as the other places. It didn't do justice to the Costa tag.

Bought food but not given cutlery. Asked the girl working for cutlery who said I have to go to the serving area. Ignored at the serving area so had to queue a second time so the food was cold. Tables a bit dirty too.

The staff were very ignorant where a woman had clearly cut in front of me in the queue and they said nothing about it. I then questioned it and was ignored. Decided to go to a different branch

Just got drinks from here the drink lids was not on right the person in front of me got hot water spilled on them by the lady that has glasses and she did not apologise she and the other young girl behind the counter found it funny my drink was very bad had no taste to it very very disappointed with this never had a problem with Costa before today it is obvious that the girls behind the counter are very childish and are not doing there job how they are meant to I understand they are young but it is a place of work and they are not right in behaving like this also all of the tables are very dirty I’ve been here for over 30 minutes nobody has don anything

This costa as local it is the best of the merry hill shopping but they should clean a little,appart from that everything else is okey

For the love of Jesus Allah and jehova all I wanted was a bloody iced drink . And to be told no bleedin' ice cubes I swear aloud surley in 2022 we can arrange cold beverages in the uks 2nd biggest shopping center!!

We went late, the equipment wasn't working and the chocolates weren't great, but the two lovely young women there were so helpful and a delight to talk to. 10/10 would go there again.

The problem I find with Costa is either the lack of staff preventing the cleaning off of tables on a regular basis or, if there is more staff, they tend to not bother quick enough 🤔 🙄. Having said that, I do like Costa and sit at a clean table. Don't be complacent folks, keep vigilant for covid 👍

Staff need more training, also too slow, only 3 customer behind me, but still waited 20mins for a cup coffee, what a shame, will go to down stair one , save time

It's a nice place to relax after shopping and it has lots of comfortable places to sit the only downside is the cost of the d inks, I think they are all rather expensive

Would of gave it 0 stars, got there to order coffee and told I cant sit inside due to them not having the right cups, even though other are drinking in the cafe from various cups, when challenged just told that's the way it is. It's a cup for goodness sake !!. Went to Gregg's instead way better and cheaper

Dont drink Costa everywhere we tried it except one place it was either like water or to strong we now always use Starbucks and have never had a bad coffee.

My usual spot for a break with the family for a coffee and a chat. The staff was NOT helpful when I wanted to prepare the babies milk when I asked for a tea pot with hot water to prepare (not incubate) the babies milk. Strange thing is that usually the staff give me a tea pot to take to my table and prepare the milk but on this occasion they had to supervise me pouring 60ml of hot water into the bottle on the counter. I find it strange how coffee is enjoyed at the tables and I'm sure they are hot too. More annoying than anything. However, coffee was ok and the food was as usual.

Went for lunch with my wife today, she ordered two drinks , two toasted sandwiches and paid £12, as we sat eating she noticed a poster behide the counter offering the above for £10 , I feel the staff should have brought her attention to this deal, really disappointed.

Love my coffee and Costas the best place to get one .

Coffee great as usual. Cinema was rubbish with people's phones ringing and it was cold. Then, had to search for a toilet that was working and not blocked. Was not impressed
