Costa Coffee in Uttlesford

Just wanted to say thanks for a great customer service)) Unfortunately, missed baristas name. Coffee was great too.

Come here everyday after work, great coffee and great people. Honestly I don't have anything bad to say about stansted airport costa coffee (landside), love it :)

There have been no cold coffee drinks for months. Excuse after excuse. Still advertised on the board. Small sign on the counter. Staff extremely rude....again!

I work for national express as a coach driver and went into Costa (Stansted Airport) for a coffee and breakfast. As I was looking in the fridge the manager (Alina) began restocking beside me, which was fine. Alina the manager then began stocking items that we're in front of my face, as I was leaned over looking at the different food options. Instead of saying excuse me, Alina reached in front of my face almost hitting me with each item she put down. I brought this to her attention and Instead of stopping and waiting for me to finish, she continued stocking the fridge and gave me a dirty look. Alina did not apologise. Nor did she make any effort to communicate with me. I instead had to talk to the barista behind the counter who was extremely pleasant and provided me with the managers name when I asked for it. Saturday 20th August I drank 1 medium cappuccino. About 1 hour later I started feel terrible. My hand were shaking, I couldn't not breathe as normal do. I was strangely agitated, actually I can not to explain it was so terrible... Later on diarrhea. I will never go to Costa coffee shop but I used to about 8 years... Ps. Because I have heart problem and taken medication every day I am scared to visit any different coffee shop to be honest... Take care guys Daria

They now serve Marks & Spencer food and snacks which has improved the food offering. Coffee is still the same - variable depends on who’s making it. Occasionally it’s very good and sometimes very poor We had some of the sandwiches, some water and 1 coffee so not much to go wrong really.

Place which save today a lot of people which freezing on airport. Have amazing sandwiches and high quality of service. Coffee here were 100% pleasure. A lot of good stuff in here 👌👏🙌👍😊

Standard terrible coffee, in a lackluster environment (Stansted) but I was served by a very cheerful barista, which was a very very nice, if unexpected welcome back to the country.

I have just arrived in from the South of Spain and went to get a drink from Costa - I was waiting in the queue which was being organised by Al. I was also of aware of some more difficult customers which he dealt with extremely well. I don’t think I’ve ever left a review before but I particularly noticed his effort, work ethic and general demeanour with customers as really great and I hope it doesn’t got unnoticed.

The friendly and quick service was positive for sure, but the seating area was untidy and there was plenty of rubbish on the floor. The americanos were fine but if you’re travelling out of STN, I’d recommend holding out for the Starbucks coffee shop airside.

As long as I land late in the night and I had no pounds. Waiting my flight at 6 I went for a coffee and a panini, they were ok, but when it was time to pay 6.42£ (7,55€) I gave to the woman 10€(8.50£) she just gave me back 0.55£(0.65€) expecting to have my 2.45€( 2.08£). She has told me that the change was correct and not to make an argument I went off from from the shop very disappointed.

They had a sign up saying to queue both sides and after a few minutes queuing was angry that we weren’t in one queue. I pointed out that there was a sign asking us to queue both sides and the girl became very angry. So the people on one side had to go to the back. Then another member of staff came and started serving, they could have just left the 2 queues. Not a pleasant atmosphere, unprofessional staff, they really couldn’t care less.

Costa’s now has a section of tables and seats cordoned off for customers, but the problem is these seats and tables are used by anyone even if not customers, this leaves it very hard to find somewhere to sit and enjoy a coffee.

I got a coffee and sandwich from costa while waiting for family to arrive. I found staff to be extremely rude and unhelpful. I’ve been a Costa customers for years and have never had a bad experience before! Disappointing customer service.

I called in here for coffee after arriving in the UK. It is very busy and that is of course good but the queuing system is poor. They also don’t give you milk with your coffee or leave room for it. The seating area has always been completely full.

Its just where to eat them... Costa jave a cordoned off area in front of the shop and despite having plenty of staff on duty they sedm to be happier chatting to friends thaan serving their customers. They might tidy up occasionally... but never saw...

Served quickly. Only gripe was that the individual chairs are very low and small and avoid at all costs the eggnog latte as it is really awful!

lovely place to sit and have a drink friendly and helpful staff nic eand clean you can sit in or take away nice wee snacks also

In need of respite waiting to check in at Stansted Airport. Costa very busy but lots of staff quickly got through the queue. Quality of drinks as usual if a bit more expensive than High Street Costas. As usual very reliable.

You can get a decent cup of coffee here and there are plenty of cake/cookie type accompaniments to choose from too. There's seating and it's located near the arrivals collection area, so perfect for if you're waiting for the arrival of a flight.

Waiting in the Stanstead airport terminal and went to the Costa for tea and a delicious emmental cheese and mushroom toastie. Great big cup of tea for £2.05 a pop and the toastie was lovely and hot and was £3.90.

We had a quick coffee in here and it could have been a Costa that had been picked up and dropped anywhere in the country. ..completely unremarkable.

Costa sometimes get undue criticism in my view. They provide a quality product for a realistic price in a nice, if generic, environment and we have yet to be disappointed by a Costa at home or abroad
