When I ordered a hot chocolate, I requested it not to be too hot. The staff member initially claimed this wasn't possible but eventually complied after I expressed my dissatisfaction. She then asked if I was having a “bad day,” to which I replied my day was excellent until I came to Costa Coffee. I requested to speak with the manager, twice but received no response on how long she would be, clearly they saw me waiting. When I approached the counter, the manager then decided to acknowledge me, I found her dismissive and wanting to focus on other customers instead of addressing my concerns. While I understand it was busy, there should be a proper procedure for handling in-store complaints. Overall, this experience was disappointing and the staff extremely patronising. I won't be returning to this particular location -

We did not like the hotel breakfast, but the chicken and bacon sandwich and a very good coffee, so we preferred to walk over the street to Stratford City. The staff was friendly. And the food was delicious.

You'd think that Costa would give an experience that is in common with the rest of the chain? Prices for a coffee at £3.60 for a medium cappuccino are not cheap, but it was convenient. I wasn't prepared for a 15 minute wait to get a coffee when I was third in the queue, and those in front had two drinks to be served. How can it take so long - well it takes studied practice! Disorganised, disinterested and unaware of the basics of customer service, it is a shame to write this, but if I don't maybe they will never improve. People have a choice of where to go, and at the prices they charge, the customer really deserves better service and attention.

Room feels dated, and less modern than expected for its age and for its price. Toilet seat lid had a giant crack in it. TV has pretty limited DirectTV lineup and user-unfriendly interface with its smart features disabled. Beds and linens are among the worst we’ve experienced in hotels of this level. Only one elevator was working, and was consistently slow to arrive. Noise from adjacent and room above was pretty audible. Breakfast (advertised as revamped) was ok - setup is a little weird and quality of stuff for sandwiches was meh. No nondairy milk options, something we find nowadays at most hotels. Just overall feels like a much older hotel than it is, and it’s consistently among the higher priced options for its class in St. Louis.

Ordered for the first time as new to the area. This is a chicken satay starter. Called them and they apologised and asked what they could do to put it right. Sadly we put our trust in these food outlets and I wouldn’t eat here again. Based on what you have served I would say cease trading will put it right. Never again

Booked for lunch today, requested a booth which is what we got in a relatively quiet area to start with. The menu's could have done with a good wipe as mine was covered with dirty marks inside and out. Our server Tonii was lovely and friendly. Vety polite throughout couldn't fault her. The food itself took a while to arrive, but given they were busy that wasn't a surprise. My meal had chilled off a little but I enjoyed it nonetheless. My husband enjoyed his mixed grill, my mum, son, snd daughter enjoyed their meals as well, although my son ended up leaving some of his burger as we forgot to leave off the burger sauce (and there was plenty of it on the burger) All I'm all the dog was clean and tidy, and the toilets were clean & in a good state of repair. I'd be happy to return.
