Not enough sockets and the WiFi was terrible

This is my local hang-out..reasons? Firstly, this is a place you can relax and let your cares fly by. The staff are extremely helpful, polite and well mannered. Always cheerful and courteous. The tables are always cleaned if not busy and if there are queues and busy, they clean them when it gets less busy. This is not just a place to buy a coffee but it is also a place for some as a social reprieve.

Staff always friendly and efficient.

I think its a bit pricey for coffee did not get a lot of change out of a tenner for 2 coffees but have to say the coffee was good.

Lovely staff at Burnley within Tesco. I mainly visit on paydays, but if in Burnley will visit. Thank you to all who work here. Clean, professional and welcoming.

Called in to have a meeting, staff were friendly and helpful. Prices are standard Costa prices. I did mark it down one star as I did have to clean our table and move dirty cups and plates away. I noticed other people were doing this it, too.

Visit fairly often. Usually have a pretty good service but sometimes getting your drink can be slow die to the amount of staff being on, can be a little wait but drink are very enjoyable. Food is average but think this is down to Costa food rather than the store itself.

Expensive and no toilet they were locked

Lovely girl served me but the lad doing the drinks was so slow, phone in back pocket talking to a friend , no speed ,then went over to their table leaving the poor girl on her own. Really needs addressing

Clean, friendly service and good croissants. Coffee is very good and nice seating areas. Reasonably priced.

Asked for an iced mocha got blended ice with milk and chocolate powder, it didn't help the guy making it was on his phone too.

Good coffee store is attached to Tesco supermarket

A server called "Kirk" has a spider tattoo on his neck shouldn't be on till, a big sigh every time a customer is served. I walked up to the till I didn't get greeted, didn't get asked what I would like, no thanks for paying no goodbye, why is this dude on the till 😭.

Atmosphere can feel a bit cramp if busy, service can be a little slow but staff are very polite and friendly

Quick coffee meet with a friend after work. I ordered the Chaii Latte & my friend had a taste & loved it, especially warming for these Winter month's, spurred her on to buy it next time.

Coffee was excellent but very disappointed again ordered toast, two weeks ago sorry; no toast, toaster broken. Today sorry no bread !! (Please it's on the ground floor of Tesco ) no bread !!!!!

Visited here after shopping in Tesco. This was unplanned but we fancied a treat. Absolutely brilliant, the team worked well together to deliver excellent service and the passion they put in was nice to see. It was very busy despite this the service was quick and prompt despite my fussy order. Lovely store and the book area is a brilliant idea

Coffee, creme donut and a tuna pannini with two flat whites.

Cakes are getting expensive and smaller so just bought a coffee

This place is so friendly and warm. The staff are always polite. Clean tables and when we come here, it's a place where we can socialise and let our troubles go. This is not just a coffee house, it's a place where we can meet other regulars, have a chat and relax. Always friendly, clean and always a good reception from the staff. Love this place. For me, my partner died in December and together we visited here, now she is gone, this is my safe haven and a place I can socialise with others, somewhere I can get out away from missing my partner and remember our times here together. This is not just a Costa coffee, it's my safe place. Keep up the good work guys 🙏👍

Really helpful staff. Love the coffee and snacks. Clean and comfortable place. Staff always go that extra mile to help customers. It's a place to go to forget the problems of the day. Thanks to the staff.

No cleaning of tables struggled to find a clean table. Had to ask for serviettes. Didn't even bother to clean tables when there was no customers to serve.

I'm a massive Costa fan and have a Costa between 2& 3 times a day, I don't know what's wrong with one, the staff sometimes look like they don't want to be there, run out of butter, knives, bread, no card payment??????

Friendly place not expensive good coffee ❤️it some ppl say tables not cleared and need cleaning but when I've been in its always been clean . Open now alls good👍

Sat drinking my Costa coffee surrounded by dirty tables. Lazy staff who don't seem to realise that almost every empty table needs clearing up and wiping. I won't be rushing back.

Good coffee, now doing cortardo so well happy. Just a shame it only has one coffee machine as this morning's wait for drinks was terrible, queues out the door at one end and all around the counter at the other.

good Christmas toastie & cappuccino

OK not overly busy but a lady 4 orders before me was forgotten about until after I was served, the pigs in blanket mac and cheese, was tasteless and over cooked, asked for salt to help none found but a very helpful young man did try his best. One of the servers looked at me as though I was not the brightest bulb in the pack as I miss pronounced the coffee (that might be true sometimes)but even so!!!!!!

Good place to sit and relax after shopping upstairs. Coffee is always the usual great Costa standard. Food, though, is limited - just basic snacks such as toast, Toasted tea cakes, heated up toasties, biscuits etc. Tables are well spaced out and there are some comfy seats and benches. Plenty of room to get a wheelchair round although the entrance can be tricky as it's next to the lift and the corridor to it is narrow. The service area has protective screens. However, although the tables are cleaned after each customer I did notice that any bits were just swept onto the floor. (See attached photo).

Love this Costa, our favourite place for a really good coffee & a weekly family catch up. Staff always friendly & welcoming, would definitely recommend.

Our lattes where much improved compared to our Costa experience a couple of years ago in motorway services.

I was going to give a negative review but my experience changed when the second time I ordered drinks today the person serving was friendly and helpful😀 Point to myself everybody can have a bad day but you must not make it worse by not being patient.

Very pleasant staff, always polite and courteous. The premises are always being cleaned even before lockdown. It is a credit to the Manager and his staff.

Based in tesco so easily accessible after a shop. Tables spaced out and hand sanitiser available. The best hot chocolate around.

Great coffee, great chilled atmosphere. Just wish the prices were a little cheaper, but I understand that they do help charities with their profits.

Forgot the syrup last week but charged & forgot the reuse cup discount today ... so far I'm down 75p ....

Good place to meet my friends but really wonder why if I only want 1 piece of toast because slices are good but a bit big for me I have to pay for 2 surely its not hard to ajust the price sometimes the name is right it does cost you to go to costas

It's basically a Costa coffee, top Mark's for friendly staff, especially during busy times but for the price of Costa ig doesnlook a bit grubby and is in need of a refurb

Love this costa but the reason I gave it 3 stars is because a certain lady who regularly works on Saturday is a sour faced,rude ,impolite and down right ignorant woman... she is letting the side down as the rest of the staff are very polite. My thought is she should retire and this costa would receive 5 stars....

Always busy but staff are very happy and helpful

NO customer service, zero customer interaction, just took my money and order, no please or thank you, had to wait at the end of the counter to wait while they made our drinks. Only one person making the drinks and had four orders underway, so I had to wait for ten minutes. Most of the tables were full of dirty dishes and rubbish. £7.00 for two coffees! We would have got better service in a local cafe and at a quarter of the price!

Just had a very nice Turkey Feast Sandwich, Tryells Crisps and a brew with my wife after doing our weekly shop. The service was friendly and polite and the the sandwiches were nice and fresh and very tasty. Enjoy

Been into Costa today after arguably one of the worst days I've had in a very long time (work) the staff here were friendly, cheerful and very welcoming and made an enormous effort which in turn cheered me up. As much as I love my Costa (and believe me i do!!) it's not the coffee that makes this place so fab it's the staff. So a big cheer to Reece and all the gang . Thankyou ☕🍰❤

Costa always been my favourite for a good catch up with friends! Warm friendly atmosphere with good choice of warm and cold drinks.

Very slow .one making the coffee .two taking the orders ? .one wiping around one doing cooked food seems very cramped could do with another coffee making machine speed things up ££.

if your in a rush for a takeaway coffee don.t bother.!!!! staff too busy chatting to each other. 10 am long line of people placed their orders. staff still chatting. I allowed 10 mins to get my coffee and needless to say i was still late for work. Thnx for that. By the sounds of other peoples complaints i got off lightly

Standard Costa coffee shop.... good coffee and excellent service but please have enough staff to make sure tables are cleared and wiped down .... sticky tables and food on seats is not what customers want

The Costa Coffee Shop in Tesco Extra in Burnley, has had a total refurbishment & it looks great, but I always have loved the Costa Coffee so can't fault a thing about any of it. Well done everyone.

After queuing for an eternity told there's no decaff. Its not a problem but its not the first time. A sign would have been good. Simply ignored when I polite made the sign suggestion. Not good enough.
