Costa in West Dunbartonshire

Went to the drive through yesterday, waited 20 mins in the cue, was shocked when we got to the window to pick up our drinks, all team members NOT wearing any masks and not social distancing, 1 point I could see 4 team members all gathered at window area all less than 1 metre apart, this made me nervous about the safety of the product being served, got our coffee and when I got to drink my hazelnut mocha, didn't taste of chocolate or coffee, had to wait another 30 mins in a cue to return and get another 1 which was OK. Been here 4/5 times since it opened and the coca cola take over, never had a great coffee once, so sad as I've drank costa for many years loving the product when whitbread owned, just not as good as it should be, supposed to be premium product, not quite hitting the mark!

Its a Costa so does what it says on the tin, the staff here are very nice and chatty and there a good selection of stuff they obviously get the turnover.

Stopped in first thing in the morning to break up a long drive with bored children. Fast and quick service in a nice stand alone building next to a82. Server was very friendly wish I caught her name to give feedback as her recommendations where great. Would return next time in the area

Great coffee and service was very good and place was clean and tidy also a great variety to chose from and free newspapers to read and relax

Unbelievable today I waited 25mins before I even ordered my drink, I was handed the most disgusting cinnamon latte and was shocked. You’re already taking you’re time making the drinks at least make them well. Very disappointed!

Can't resist it !! Coffee addict and I always go here, friendly helpful staff ! Very good Costa and they always remember what I drink, don't even need to ask !!

Asked for takeaway cup but went to sit down and could see the staff watching as it was not that busy

Dirty tables everywhere - we cleared our own and it remained unwiped. Service slow. Food order got muddled with another couple's who order the same but came in after us, so they received it first. Order arrived without knives and we had to ask for them. None of the staff appeared welcoming or bothered. Only when another customer started taking photographs of the state of the place did the tables begin to be cleared.

Costa for me sells the best coffee in the area and cakes to die for. Also staff are very helpful. A regular for us.

Call here a few times when visiting family near by. They seem to be always short staffed. Even though it wasn't over busy, there were lots of messy tables and they had run out of cups for drinking in. Other thn these issues the staff are friendly and it offers the typical Costa fare.

Visited on Saturday evening around 8.40pm-despite the hours saying it was open until 10pm we were told they were closing in 20 minutes. However, the staff were helpful and served us quickly. Since they were closing up we decided on take away and returned to our room at the nearby Premier Inn. The cafe seemed clean and the staff were lovely. Can't comment on food as we weren't eating and most of it had been tided away fro the evening but the latte was perfect! Would have no hesitation in returning.

I've been coming here for some time, and prefer to sit in than use the drive-thru. The staff are always pleasant, my issue is inconsistency with the quality of their 'flat white'. C'mon guys!

Just wanted to say that the staff in this branch are so nice. I go in on a regular basis..... , its a comfortable relaxed atmosphere. This week in particular the 2 guys who were on, Liam and Ewan were so friendly and helpful. Its great to get such good service.

Never again ! Waited ages to be served and I was the only one in the shop !!Filthy dirty counter and a very unhelpful member of staff ! I asked for a holder to carry my coffees to my car and she walked off and ignored me! Won't be stopping in again

Very much the usual Costa format and none the worse for that. Good service and good coffee. Very acceptable and a good stop off from the Erskine bridge to Loch Lomond. Recommended

This was a great pitstop on a long weekly work commute, but this year 2015, the coffee has gone from bad to worse. We use the drive thru, but it is just no good, I really can't drink their coffee anymore. On several occasions we have got along the road to discover the milk is on the turn, or the coffee is scalded, or luke warm. Once we even have gone back, after all £20, for a round is not cheep! But to no avail, staff are polite enough but they really are not interested, one 'lad' sighed and rolled his eyes when one of our party asked for a coffee to be re-made. However next door to Costa is the the petrol station, where in desperation (it had been a long old week) I bought a 'starbucks' out of the machine - actually real beans from real coffee and you could taste the difference. I never thought I would say this but the machine is miles better than this Costa's current coffee offerings. Save yourself the grumpiness, go to the petrol station instead.

I use this branch regularly for drive through but frequently to meetfriends.Very relaxed. Staff all lovely.Will be a big miss when closed for refurb!!

An ideal spot for a drive through coffee from time to time.... Great service also! I'm a regular visitor here and even though a Starbucks has opened up the other end of town and even next door, il still stick to the costa!

Better than Helensburgh ! They still need to listen though :single shot latte (get two shots)No foam (get foam)Extra hot (it's not)Best yet ? When I asked for a latte in a cup (don't like drinking out of a glass) she replied "as opposed to?" !!!But .. Lizzie is a gem! Smiles! (Never experienced that in their Helensburgh branch ) she was delightful and a credit to Costa .

stopped here many times on our way to Luss... staff are very friendly and unlike most of these coffee places they seem to enjoy their jobs.... service is great and the coffee is spot on... can't fault the place... will be back many more times in the future... well done Costa

Good location if heading to or from Loch Lomond. Always served quickly with a smile and coffee is great. Car park can get busy, but more space available at adjacent Premier Inn. We use it regularly and can't fault it.

Im not going back in to this place... nearly 11 bangers for 3 cups of hot water.. the choco isnt all that good either... Avoid...

My husband drinks a lot of coffee and we regularly use the drive thru really fast and excellent coffee I am assured by my husband.

I love coming this way en route to and from the Highlands and we often sit here and chill after suffering the traumas of the A82. The place is always well staffed and service quick. Sometimes the parking isn't as plentiful as you may like but there's plenty of space just as close in the adjacent car parks or adjoining road. If you are journeying further into the Highlands stop here..why? Well, the A82 is a dangerous road with countless accidents, so have your wits about you and be refreshed before heading further into the Highlands. Plus not many other loo breaks further North!

One of the best Costa Coffee Houses I have visited.Large, well executed abundance of staff and excellent coffee as normal.This Costa also boasts a drive through which I have not seen before and adds makes a useful addition on a main road up into the Scottish lochs.My only slight complaint is a small draught as the drive through window is left open even when not serving but this should not detract from the rest the Costa offers.

This Costa is adjacent to a Premier Inn and is open not only to Premier Inn guests but anyone.It is situated in a very handy spot and drivers on Loch Lomond to Glasgow road have easy access. It is also a great place for Dunbarton folk to check out.The lemon cake was the best I've tasted and portion size was very good. There's plenty of food choices available.This is as good a Costa as any and better than many!!!
