Sat at table for 20 minutes until waitress told I had to go the till to order my food. DER. Burger with a small number of chips which were crystallised with fat. Asked fir vinegar and was given olive oil. At £14 it was well overpriced. Never again.

We were looking for a seafood restaurant on the High Street of West Wickham and we saw this restaurant that, thanks to the menu displayed outside, convinced us to go in. Be careful what you want to eat, because the restaurant offers different menus based on the time. The environment is welcoming, clean and tidy, it has its own personality. The service is good, standard. We tried a few dishes, as a starter we took the one with salmon which honestly wasn't very tasty and the fried calamari was decent, the breading was detached from the fish. Then as a main course we took a very good seafood risotto and fresh pasta linguine with King Prawns, the latter was not well done, the pasta was not separated well, it was badly pre-cooked and the taste in general was below my expectations, too much tomato sauce. To drink I tried a Tubor Fiçi and sparkling water. The dessert with coffee was standard. I recommend it for breakfast, lunch or dinner but without big expectations, the usual cuisine that you find a bit everywhere.

I have visited Corza many times over recent years and until today have had a good experience. I arranged to meet a friend here, as we both have young children and Corza describes itself as a family friendly cafe. Having 2 children under 2 and a double buggy, I am always conscious of where we can literally fit through the door and where there is space to accommodate us and not be in the way of other people. My friend and I found a table in the corner of the restaurant which seemed the best place to sit. We were met by an unhelpful and quite rude member of staff, he asked us to move to sit next to the front door where clearly there wouldn’t be room for us to all fit. I would not recommend Corza for any parents or carers of young children and won’t be returning in the future. We ended up going to Primo, who couldn’t have made us feel more welcome.

Superb atmosphere, food and staff. My sister goes 2 or 3 times a week, and she took us when visiting. I would be there a lot if I was local.

The food is exceptional and great value for money. My friend and I have eaten here a few times now and it never disappoints - we would highly recommend this place

Friendly, comfortable, casual dining venue. It punches above its image on the quality of the food, however. The kitchen staff really care about serving freshly cooked meals. There are no ping recipes here. While others are content to microwave or merrychef instant industrial meal options Corzas kitchen staff do it the traditional way and your taste buds can really tell the difference. We have had their home made soup a number of times and it has been delicious. It is easy to miss though as the frontage and the shopfront is very unassuming and a bit tatty.

Lovely omelette served here. I wish we were told earlier to order food at the counter. Other than that, the service was good.

Fantastic little place. I have been here twice and the food I ordered ( sandwiches and burger) was beyond delicious. The fries were crispy and seasoned to perfection. Loved the milkshakes as well.

The full English was superb, and it was definitely one of my best ever reviewed. The menu had plenty of options. Based on my breakfast, I look forward to the opportunity to return and sample the rest. I should add, I had my breakfast for lunch. 😃 Coffee great 👌 Service great 👍 The position of this place is right on the high street, Making it is easy to explore the local shops. The carpark nearest has a 2.1m height restriction, or you have the option to park on the side roads nearby. The place was busy lunchtime, from the outside it seemed full, however it is larger than you think from the door. You must go in and find a table, it's well worth it. Fantastic atmosphere and DOG friendly 👏

Breakfast 7/10 and not bad but, like many cafes post COVID not cheap considering the ingredients. Tea 3/10 as was not very nice and tasted cheap! Well worth investing a bit more into Sainsbury's Red label or the like. Service good but probably won't return

THIS RESTAURANT IS HORRIBLE!! It took them 30 minutes just to give it cutlery and an hour for our food when we ordered 3 DISHES!!!! When everyone else was getting their food I’ve never waited this long for this amount of food, the wait is not worth it!!!

This place was truly surprising. Didn’t appear to be much on the outside but pretty cool on the inside. Ordering is kinda weird though. You get seated with menus. You then have to go to the counter to order at the register at the bar. Then people bring you your food. It looks like a normal sit down restaurant but with sort of fast food ordering process. Regardless the food was very good.

Had dinner as a group of 8 last night and we all enjoyed the evening. The food was well presented, tasted wonderful and was piping hot, straight from being cooked. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely return for another meal here

We find this stand alone family run restaurant absolutely faultless.Serving an excellent choice of food by very friendly and attentive servers.We go there often for lunch,and have also been a few times for evening dinner.l think there fillet steak is the best steak for miles around.Lovely little restaurant for just coffee,lunch,or dinner.

Love this place. Nice staff, good food, a buzz in the air and usually some decent music in the background. Corza is the type of local cafe/restaurant every high street should have (but most haven't). We had breakfasts today, however, whether its breakfast, lunch or dinner the quality is always the same.

I've been coming to Corza since we moved here 3 years ago and I'm always delighted with the food and service. Today I deviated from my usual jacket potato and had a chicken burger. It was so delicious and had that flame-grilled flavour you often don't get. My husband had a chicken and avocado jacket potato - also very tasty. I'd always recommend this place to visitors and friends. The coffee is also the best locally I think.

We had a lovely meal at the restaurant on Saturday 9th December in the evening. The food was exceptionally good and was served and presented very well. The staff were very polite and pleasant. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend our evening.

Lamb was tender, grilled, flavoured. Chips were crispy, flavoured. Absolutely loved it

Lovely evening had with my aunt. The staff are friendly & attentive without being over fussy. Plenty of time to choose with a changed menu from lunchtime to evening. The food is different, tasty and plentiful. Back ground music playing and there is plenty of room between tables. We will look forward to our next visit. Thank Corza

This is one of my favourite local places to go and i do recommend it to every - great alla around, it doesn't matter if for a coffee, lunch, dinner or a drink. Very good food and coffee, affordable, good service, lovely internal design and atmosphere, kids friendly. Can be a bit loud and busy on Friday/Saturday nights but hey, it's a sign of it being very popular! Keep up with your great work !

I come here every 2 to 3 months to meet up with old friends. It has good food, a good atmosphere and good staff, at a more than reasonable price. We just love it.

Been coming here on and off for many years sometimes good sometimes not so good. We go somewhere else for a while after. We went today after a gap of 6 months , I had eggs benedict and was very disappointed to find they are now using square processed packet ham it was terrible and cost £10.95!

Visited for the first time today, the service was appalling! After ordering and paying for our food we waited over an hour before being told it was not being cooked yet as it was a busy day! We got a refund and left. Would definitely not visit again.

It was so bad I ended up having to ask for my money back and walk. Avoid if possible no respect for the customer. We ordered 2 simple breakfast eggs on toast ect (please note you have to pay when ordering). After nearly 40 minutes with no food or contact from staff, I went up to chase the member of staff and went into the kitchen to discover it had not been cooked yet. She promised the food would be 5 minutes, after 5 minutes a member of staff came to our table and asked if we would like a complimentary drink we said no just the food we had ordered that we had been promised would be done by now. She did not say anything, just walked away. after a further 10 minutes, I went inside to speak to the manager to find that the food still had not been cooked, so I asked for my money back. I was advised by the manager that on busy days like this, people have to wait upto 2hrs for their food in restaurants and as we were not at that yet, they were OK and not doing bad. I was shocked. I did get my money back when they had managed to find my order, but overall, it was a very poor experience. I was not the only person going up to chase missing orders.

Five of us went here. The restaurant was clean and pleasantly decorated, and the food was good. However my "hand cooked chips" came as the other option which was french fries, I had to remind them they'd forgotten the toast & butter, and the toast plate was dropped onto the table when it did arrive. I then had to request the butter to go with it. With the above in mind, only a 3 instead of a 4 I'm afraid. Oh, and I only had a couple of sips of my coffee as it tasted as if the machine had just been cleaned and not fully flushed through. I suspect the niggles above were a rarity, as I have been - and know many others that have also been - there for lunch or dinner and it's been very good. Just our breakfast experience which I've recorded above. I'll go back at some point and add an updated review.

I came here with some of my family. We were served quickly and pleasantly. It was a good choice for a quick lunch.

A large Italian style restaurant/cafe. It serves meals and lunchtime fare. I had a very tasty vegetable risotto with salmon which cost about £16.50. Place your order at the counter. The only thing that is negative is that it can be very noisy and echoey in there.

Fantastic meal for a table of 10. Food was so tasty & served hot. Guest with specific dietary requirements was catered for with out any fuss & wasn’t made to feel different. Service was excellent & we were not rushed despite being the only ones in the restaurant.

Went for a mother day brunch drinks arrived promptly but Wanted an hour and a half with family members only to have all there meals arrive forgetting 3 of us entirely. After asking a first server where our meals where and them not coming back to us. We asked for a refund as everyone else had finished eating we had to be somewhere and we’re all starving at this point. I would have expected our drinks to be refunded aswell as an apology, I understand things get busy but a sorry would of been appreciated

Had lunch here last Saturday. The food was superb. We were a group of 10 and everyone enjoyed their meals. The salad I had was exceptional. I highly recommend. The staff are lovely too. Very well looked after.

Clean, friendly, nice food, reasonable prices (compared to many), busy (ie popular). Minor quibble, I thought the English breakfast could have used a sausage and tomato (my wife being a full English breakfast expert !)

Food at Corza is always good. Never disappoints. One issue I have though is the length of time it takes to get a coffee. Been here many times and each time it takes longer than usual. Maybe hire more staff during weekends too.

Lovely big open space... absolutely beautiful in the summer with the wide open windows (French window style). Gorgeous coffee, lovely staff. Update: This has become one of my favourite places. I have now been quite a few more times to this lovely restaurant for breakfast, brunch and for dinner. I have been there with family and also with friends. Everytime, it's been great service, great food and a great time. Last night, we went for dinner and the M'aitre d welcomed us and seated us. We preferred another table and the waitress very happily re-seated us. The waitress was so attentive and also professional. The maître d' took our orders and talked to us about the food and drink. When the food arrived, it was hot and so delicious. We had the grilled salmon with sauteed potatoes & cream spinach and the seafood risotto with extra side of roast vegetables. Both were so good. We will continue going there. It's a lovely place for breakfast, for brunch, lunch and dinner. 2nd Dec 2022 Update: It has been months..a year? Since my last update. We have continued to go to Corza for breakfast, lunch and dinner. But i felt an update was due because of some subtle changes that have been made. We went for dinner last night with a group of friends and our kids. There are now red thick velvet curtains at the entrance door this immediately creates a refined luxe atmosphere. Same red thick curtains in doorways inside the restaurant leading to the ladies/gents. The lights at corza have always been dimmed at dinner but now there is even more lighting but they are all still dimmed. It's lovely. They have more paintings on the walls. A piano to the side. An unobtrusive mic and instrument stand. So we had live very beautiful gentle background music. Loved it! The singer and her partner were great. There are also different table settings to previous again giving an air of refinement and quality. The new dinner vibe at Corza subtly messages that dinner at Corza is for an adult crowd. They, however, always welcome children. And it was the same last night. Seating is also done in such a way that families are not seated in the midst of those out for a lovely adult evening. Very clever. We all had delicious food and scrumptious dessert. The kids (3 x 6 year olds, a 12 year old & a 17 Yr old) also had a lovely evening. They had lots of choices from the dinner menu but were verbally offered food from the day-time kids menu also (we weren't given any kids menu - remember the subtle message mentioned earlier about this being an adult environment?) which was handy for dessert but otherwise the dinner menu met all our needs. There is no children dinner menu. Again, a nod to the subtle message. I honestly can't praise the delicious-ness of the food here enough. I am in love with their chunky chips. So crunchy. Fantastic selection of wine. We tried their Wicked Lady white Rosé (or is it Wicked Woman?) and it was delish. It's a sweet Rosé. I tend towards dry wines ideally but this wasn't too sweet. And did i say it was delish? One criticism I do have was we were made to wait for ages before being attended to. There was a loong delay before our drink orders were taken. And an even longer delay before our food order was taken. We had been there over an hour before our food order got taken. The restaurant was full and such a great atmosphere but customers ..even groups who came after us were served before us. It wasn't a nice feeling. This has turned put to be such a loooong update! Do try Corza out. You won't regret it.
