Had to watch the manager deal with a particularly foul customer upset that there was a bit of a wait on pasties during the Bath half marathon. Taylor was also very calm and gave us great service even while being berated by the other customer. Both gents did a great job, and are a credit to the shop and the brand

Shop with many choices. Friendly staff. Fast service.

The shop looks lovely on the outside. It really makes you want to go in, with all the sweet baked goods in the window. Unfortunately, the appeal is lost when you glimpse the unamused staff, steeling a gaze at the next shambling punter making his/her way into the shop. I was asked what I wanted. A split second decision had to be made. I was not aware of the vast options. I went for a chicken pasty. I’ve not had a pasty before, but I have had a chicken pie, and I had the expectation that this would be a chicken pie type of bake. I took my first bite and was met with dry pastry. I should have bought a drink. Recovering, I took my second bite, praying for some filling. The filling was chicken and potatoes. Perhaps leeks aswell - but I couldn’t taste them. Dry as the Sahara. Poor. I had expected a creamy white sauce, but no - just overdone potato and parched chicken.

The vegetarian and vegan pasties are excellent even though I'm not a vegetarian myself. Always quick service from young staff who seem to enjoy their work.

Traditional steak pasties are lovingly for me, I love it, very delicious. But I can’t tell whether it’s been crimped by a left or a right handed worker, can you tell me ?

Horrendous experience worst customer service I've ever had. The staff started to Mock my accent from the minute I started to speak. Please grow up!

The Cornish Bakehouse not only sells pasties but great cakes as well. They have a great selection of pasties and the prices are pretty good too. Worth popping in there to get lunch if arriving at the railway station by train.

We had a great breakfast here. Top deal for under £3 for a coffee and bacon roll. Amazing looking cakes too. Staff were very friendly too

Ordered a medium cornish pasty and a bacon roll. Pastry was flakey as expected and mincemeat and veggies inside were hot, tasty and seasoned well. Bacon was thick and smokey. Everything tasted good. Ate it too quick to include a photo! Service was fast, staff were friendly. Great for grab and go food. I would eat here again!

pastries r cold, the crusts r stale, and some are straight up burnt, don't know how they managed to make it both cold and burnt...Go to the Cornish bakery if u want something nice. I'm 90% sure that's where you were meant to go anyway.

No beef in the so called ‘steak pasty’, you should call it ‘beef flavoured potatoes pasty’. Any pasties from the southwest countryside is better than this. I don’t know where you got the guts to call yourself the world’s best, but in my opinion, you are simply the worst.

Just today: I waited for the guy to take my order. He initially said for me to wait and he will take my order but he never did even if I am the only customer waiting in line. I ended up just leaving as I already lost my appetite since he went straight to the kitchen and he just chatted and giggle with his mate inside. So disappointing.

I tried the traditional stake pasty (medium, 4.5pounds) the taste is ok. The staff was very friendly and helpful, I had a good time eating my food outside of the shop with the pigeon🤭

Very very tasty cornish pasties

Probably the worst Cornish pasty I've ever had. I walk past here regularly and it always smells delicious. I had a tough day at work and decided to treat myself to a pasty on the way home. Sadly, what I purchased was stone cold and hard. With so many places in Bath producing top quality food at the same price I will not be going here again.

What’s the point of a phone if you just hang up on customers

The cornish pasty was good and acceptable. Although the place is more kind of a take away.

Asked for a traditional steak medium pasty ,the lad picked up one the looked nice then put it back and gave me another ,I rushed back to the car to eat a hot pasty but it was stone cold ,dry as a sand pit and not sure if the pastry was wholemeal, it ended up in the bin after just one bite .

Friendly helpful staff even at the time of the Christmas market when the place is busy. Food is yummy.

My daughter has ASD. The guy was brilliant with her. He helped her with her order and took time to explain. She loved this and the baguette. Thank you 😊

Laissez-moi rire, nous avons acheté 2 rouleaux à la saucisse, ce sont les pires produits que j'ai jamais acheté, savent-ils seulement ce qu'est une saucisse ? Ce bloc de je-ne-sais-quoi dans mon roulé avait un goût immonde, était décomposé, pâteux et plein d'eau, ce n'est pas une saucisse qu'ils doivent mettre dedans mais un amalgame de tous les déchets broyés du reste de leurs produits. Soyez honnêtes avec vos clients... Est-ce si compliqué d'acheter ou de préparer une vraie saucisse ? Le roulé n'était pas chaud, et le personnel n'est pas au petit soin du client... Vous osez vous appeler les "meilleurs du monde" ? Vous vous battez surtout pour la place de "pire du monde", comment atteindre un niveau de si piètre qualité ?

I've had better pasties in Australia. I got the chicken one and I literally got two bits of chicken. Staff were pleasant enough when I went in. I wouldn't go back though!

In visita alle terme abbiamo optato per un quick lunch a base di specialita' della cornovaglia. Abbiamo mangiato dei fagottini di pastasfoglia rispini di formaggio e bacon. MOlto buoni e gustosi (attenti contangono cipolla). Come docle abbiamo preso dei fudge al cioccolato e caramello: ottimi. Provata anche la tipica heavy pie: questa non ci e' piaciuta...troppo pesante....

This is one of the best bakeries I have been to! Definitely get a cornish pasty and their pastries are divine. They also cater for vegans!

Gross. Cold, old, poor quality pastries.

Very bad experience, bought their 5 pound beef pasty. Opened the package after one hour, very bad smell and taste of spoiled/rotten food. one bite and we all spit it to avoid diarrhoea and vomiting. Never again to this place.

I have had the worst experience in this place today just half hour ago. Ordered two jacked potatoes and was served by a young lady. They taste proper bad, the food Luke warm, cheese not melted, potato cold. To top up the experience the young lad who did the coffee, I asked for latte with vanilla shot, he took the vanilla syrup and poured it to the cup. Oh my god the dread I had and I wanted to say but they are all bantering with one another giving no regard to customers. Not that I minded that before. But the coffee tasted properly bad. Just such a bad bad experience. Food tasted properly bad. Won’t be coming here for a long time now.

Good veggie options but Vegan Spicy vegetable pasty wasn't that spicy really.

Mid day 2 May 2023. Busy lunch time? It should have been. I was the only one in the shop and the only cooked pasties they had were massive; no medium, no small. I gave it a miss. Get your act together.

Nice staff, tasty cornish. Sadly the cornish was only room temperature, not even warm. Hence the 2 stars.

Horrid service by very rude staff members. Sausage roll or meat thrown from kitchen and across the shop floor. Just nearly missing my partner and I. They showed no accountability and hid in the kitchen to avoid a confrontation. It felt like school kids in a playground instead of a professional bakery. There needs to be more supervision and better hiring of polite adults instead of the children that currently work at this place. We were very put off by the experience and immediately left. The poor service we experienced was the direct cause for you losing our business today and we will never return. Incident happened Sunday 2/4/23 around 16:00pm.

This shop is run by a group of amateurs. As we walked in, someone from the kitchen staff, threw a sausage accross the shop. Literally. No apologies were made on behalf of the staff. The person who did it, was hiding behind the kitchen and did not have the decency to take accountability. This is a behaviour from a staff member who works in a shop titled "best in the world". This incident happened on April 2 2023 , just between 4pm-4:15pm. My advice is- get some professionals to work here.

Yum. Can be a queue there around lunch but worth the wait. Cornishes are very tasty but lukewarm which is good when wanting food

Very cool new look and thay still have the nice brownies me and dad love. One bad thing the donuts were like dry clay. Over all not bad at all.🍩🍪🎂🍰🧁🥧

We walked past this shop and couldn’t resist the lovely smell of their pasties. Of course we had to go for a traditional Cornwall pasty! They have a variety of food to suit everyone, from sweet to savoury. Absolutely gutted we didn’t get to try their cake slices because they looked absolutely insane!

Decidedly average. Limp bacon roll where the bacon was barely done and slung between 2 halves of a bun. If you're desperate for something to eat give it a go otherwise save your money.

Cornish Bakehouse offers different variety of fillings for their Cornish Pasties. The ones with ham & cheese fillings are recommended. The Cornish Pasty from Cornish Bakehouse is quite good but not fantastic and is quite expensive for a mid-size pasty. Do eat them while are still hot and fresh!

There are two of these shops in Bath, plastered with signs about 'award winning' pasties, so thought I should give it a try. They were absolutely fine, I have had alot worse but nothing special, I have had alot better also. If you want a pastie then you will be happy I am sure but dont expect anything special, similar to the other chain stores (in fact other ones probably slightly better).

Yummy! I got a medium lamb and mint Cornish pasty, two Yum-Yums and a jam doughnut for less than 8 pounds. The prices were fair for its portion and fills you up. I do suggest getting more because they go down quick when you start eating. The server was nice and made sure to note that the pasty were better warmed.

This was the best pasties and sausage rolls we have ever had and the whole family concurred. Would thoroughly recommend them

Wonderful breakfast baps, delicious and made with the best-quality ingredients. My only bone to pick is that their griddles used to be out of order quite a lot, but hope that this had been dealt with during the shop renovation.

Good fair prices for large portions with a wide variety of appetizing cakes and pasties. Cakes were priced fairly with reductions for buying in packs of four. Busy but everyone was giving each other a fair amount of space. Being busy showed it is popular. Would visit again. The chocolate brownie is huge!

Had a great experience here. As a tourist who has never had a pastie before, they were quite delicious! People in other reviews are saying that staff may have been rude, but the staff that I got was extremely nice and honest. He said what he recommended and what I would probably like. I ended up getting a sausage roll and 2 pasties, traditional and another sort. It ended up being 10 pounds along with a coke which is about 14 USD. Super duper cheap for feeding me and my mother. The staff was also honest and said that they wouldn’t taste good if they were cold so the “less fresh” ones he would warm up! Overall, the food was really great! It’s heavy and meaty/potatoey, but it sure does fill you up. I’m no pasties expert, but I was satisfied and full. Can definitely recommend.

I won’t be going here again! The staff weren’t the best and we felt really rushed to get our food to get out! When we got our pasties they were COLD!!! I waste of our money, we should of just gone to Greggs.

When they are hot, they are fantastic. When they are cold, they aren't. Its a bit of a crapshoot which you are going to get.

What is going on with Bake house, I asked the woman if there was any warm ones, she shrugged and said "I don't know"?? then gave me a cold dried up Chicken bake today, not knowing until I was out of the store, she wasn't interested in that it was cold just shrugged again!! no offer of replacing it. staff are terrible and food is just as bad. %% Owner please sort it out I liked ur food. %% other people outside complaining to.

Grand choix de pasti et de sausage roll, service gentil et serviable.

Ordered a freshly made panini which was tasty but there was hair found in and when returned the staff just prepared a new one without apologising. Not good customer service for such mistake.

Can be hit and miss on the wide variety of baked goods and breakfast food, but definitely recommend the vegan "sausage" roll for flavor and price.
