Brilliant little pub and staff are great!

Home of the Black Tot end of July every year!

Stole my hoody. Never going back.

Stopped in for a pint. Good old fashioned friendly local pub. Dog friendly. Much enjoyed the visit.

Was there for a darts tournament. Great atmosphere and friendly guy behind the bar.

Good Guinness and it's a popular choice in there!

High Street pub with 2 inside areas 1 of which is cosy leather settee crash style, the other more trad saloon style. Sold a couple of ales & usual suspects in keg + bottles. Small rear patioed garden area outback which is a sun trap. Locals were friendly enough. Sunday afternoon cheese & biscuits + roast potatoes were shared among the customers which was a nice touch.

Pleasant enough experience considering we we not locals who seemed friendly enough. Reasonable price for drinks is a thumbs up & the roast potatoes & cheese & biscuits was a nice touch.

Nice little local with a selection of drinks plus real ales , they have a small court yard out the back with a couple of seats which traps the sun , landlord had cheese and biscuits out on tables before we arrived then while sitting inside he put roast potatoes out , there is a parking bay out side otherwise there's parking down the road by the square

Lovely local pub on Portland bill that we happened to be staying not to far from on are holiday. The bar lady made us feel very welcome. Lovely gargen out back too.

Me and my friend visited one evening for a few drinkies, Gemma really made us feel comfortable, made sure we were looked after and was happy to have a good chat with us. The pub was clean, tidy and presentable. I was especially impressed with the ladies WC, it's very well put together, high hygiene standards and they provide free toiletries such as tampons and sanitary towels. It is rare you find somewhere who looks after their customers like this. I highly recommend, they deserve 5* 👌☺️

Found this pub by chance, what a lovely pub it was, doesn't do food it's just a good drinking pub , staff & customers were friendly, lovely little court yard out the back .Really enjoyed it there.

My favourite pub on Portland! Whenever my wife and I stay on Portland (we are from the other end of the county, Poole) we always visit the Corner House for a couple of pints of well kept ale. Two small rooms and, for those with a nicotine addiction, a small outside area to the rear. We've been coming here for years, though less frequently than we would like. Friendly locals, good beer. In short a proper traditional street corner pub!

Top landlord, very good bar service with an excellent friendly atmosphere. A Good well kept selection of drinks served from the pumps and fair priced. Black Tot on the last Saturday in July every year is fantastic, (not to be missed) former Matelots dressed up in 19th century uniforms with clay pipes etc dishing out tots of Pussers Rum and holding an auction mostly of Naval artefacts with all proceeds going to Maritime Charities all rounded off with a good old sing song from the pubs selection of old Sea dogs.
