I dont understand all the bad reviews . Maybe theyer under new management. Not only was this place not bad it was absolutely amazing. I've been toany Chinese in sale and the ribs here are by far the best and tonight I ordered rispy duck aswel and that's the best I've had. They take all the meat of the bone for you so it's easier. Really crispy and really tasty. Even the sauce was better than everywhere else. Delivery lady was very friendly guy on phone the same. Took an hour to get here but pretty much all takeaways take that long in the week never mind Saturday. Honestly really really really good.

Quicker than expected and very nice as always

Delivered hot and fresh and on time. Unfortunately the curry sauce was missing but not a big deal, mistakes happen, food was lovely as always.

Called in to buy a bag of chips at about 1.30. Two men were working at the back chopping what I suspect was meat. One beckoned to the other that I was waiting to be served. He came over wearing a dirty red striped apron and asked for my order. He hadn’t washed his hands and was expecting to serve me. Absolutely not. I looked at him and said no thanks and walked away.i regularly use this chip shop but from now on will not go back

sweet and sour chicken was cold to touch not even luke warm had to heat it for a while My parter was up all night with severe stomach cramps etc which have continued all day today. coppice manager has not phoned us back. samples ready to be sent to the Lab.

ordered sweet and sour chicken amd egg fried rice and a chow mein. food was cold when it arrived. Took 2 minutes in the microwave to heat. About 2 hours after eating I started with stomach cramps and am still in agony now. my partner didn't eat the chicken so it must have been that. very tempted to report

Do not recommend!! I ordered 3 salt&pepper chips, one of which came with a long strand of hair right on top of the chips. I called to let them know but someone shut the phone in my face. When I went back to inform them, I was glumly welcomed by a lady called Pippa. She was moody, rude and defensive; I was made out to be a liar because according to Pippa, no one with long hair was around when the food was being prepared. She then let me know that unless I brought back the chips with the hair, I can’t get a refund. At no point did anyone say sorry to me, absolutely shocking customer service and evidently horrific hygiene too!!

I ordered duck in plum sauce. However it definitely was not in plum sauce but in a clear sauce with a dozen pieces of tinned pineapple!! It also did not appear to be duck either nor did it taste of duck. I phoned the fish bar immediately and explained the problem and the person I spoke to insisted it was what I ordered. He was rude and refused to resend the correct meal or give me a refund and put the phone down. I tried to phone back but nobody answered. I have researched authentic plum sauce recipes and not one of them has tinned pineapple in it. I have also eaten duck in plum sauce elsewhere and it definitely didn’t have pineapple in the sauce but did have plums. I went to the place today and spoke to the manager who denied that it was an incorrect meal And refused to refund me for a meal that was not what was ordered. Please advise me what further action I can take. Thanks

Absolutely gutted always spend at least 50 quid got 4 salt and pepper chicken wings for 7 pound 🤯🤯🤯 I will not be ordering from this place again absolutely shocking

The chips were the worst chips I've ever bought; they were cremated.

Really bad, in fact my meal was vile. I ordered crispy beef. I got crispy no beef. The delivery driver was really rude also! Never order from this place! I’ve been robbed. Photos don’t show how bad this is. Crispy bits of stuff have been frozen and food standards agency have been contacted to ask if they can look at what exactly is being sold as food.

Girl who’s always serving is so nice and friendly but the food is poor quality. Sometimes it’s ok but I’ve had salt and pepper chips which were extremely spicy and salty, clearly had way too much seasoning on as I’ve had them before and they were fine. Also had extremely dry/overcooked chips before. Salt and pepper chicken is dry and seems like it’s reheated poorly. Food is okay at best and inedible at worst.. It’s my local which is why I go back but don’t think I will again

Food was barely lukewarm by the time it arrived. Bag was sweaty, paper was wet so chips inside were soggy as well as nearly cold. I suspect they’re loading up the delivery driver so they have to make several stops. Really unhappy with this meal. The food itself was okay, with Coppice it usually is, but not good enough when it’s cold. The delivery situation needs to be sorted.

I was forced to chase my order up after waiting over 2 hours for the food to arrive. I was unable to contact the owner as the phone was busy and the voicemail recordings were full. After leaving a text via JustEat I was informed that the food was on its way and had to wait an extra 20 minutes for delivery. The food took 2 hours and 10 minutes to arrive which is completely unacceptable If the takeaway was that busy it should have informed me at the time or ordering and I would have been able to take my business elsewhere.

Really enjoyed it, had the Chinese and can not fault it. Would definitely recommend. Had it delivered, delivery was on time.

Never had from here before so was a bit unsure. Ordered it for delivery and it was delivered on time plus the lady who delivered was so lovely. Food was spot on, really enjoyed it.

Sausage looked liked it had been re-fried and over cooked and the chips looked and tasted like they were from a previous day or that afternoon and been re-fried. Just poor quality, the chow main was ok and the curry source was only half filled and it cost £1.90 very disappointed

Food is so nice but delivery is on longer side

Waited 90 minutes for inedible, dry chewy chicken, greasy noodles, overcooked chips and soggy spring rolls. Will not be ordering from here again or recommending anyone else does.

Chips dry and burnt , chicken was mainly the crust not much chicken had to dig around to find the chicken which was buried deep into the chicken crust , fried rice wasn’t to bad but everything else was of poor quality and not what I expected as I’m a regular customer to the coppicr fish bar , customer service is great delivery person is always lovely and always greeted with a smile .

Food was nice but over half an hour late on delivery.

Always order from here was really bad at one time for being late so stopped ordering. Tried again, started to get better but tonight was horrific. Ordered at 5:20, arrived at 7:35. Called twice, was told 10 mins away twice. Food was lukewarm, by the time we’d had starters food was freezing and congealed. Not happy, didn’t even get an apology or a reason over the phone. Only delivery driver was apologetic. Done wasting my money now, complained in the past and never received a refund. Done!

Not nice Chinese food. The fried rice is dark brown in colour, not fresh. Looks and tastes as though it’s just being warmed up. Chips are never fresh and curry sauce is always bumpy. Nice staff but the staff need training on how to cook. They should take a look at the Chinese food that park view in sale cook or Dynasty because real Chinese food should be appealing appetising. It’s pretty appalling the food.

Ordered at 6:20 said it would take an hour to come. At 7:20 it still wasn’t here. We rang and they told us 30 minutes. Whereas justeat told us 15. We waited until 8:30 and it still hadn’t arrive (over 2 hours after ordering). We rang and they told us 10 more minutes. We cancelled the delivery and the restaurant is refusing to give the money back because they restaurant was “busier than usual”. Awful experience.

Clean shop. Let down with food! Fish fried fresh but was terrible tasteless, the batter was very heavy also chips were chewy. Curry sauce was too sweet and not usual Chinese sauce. Most went in the bin obviously will not return here. We were looking forward to our dinner I very rarely have takeaway this is the reason why. I do not like giving bad reviews but I have thrown away good money on bad food.

Order was partially incorrect and the food took an hour and a half from order to arriving at the door.

Absolutely first class, my young daughter calls it the best Chinese chippy in Manchester, portions are huge and very very reasonably priced

Always great food, such a variation as well. I love the Wor Tip, so tasty. Food was late today by around 15 minutes but that doesn’t put me off as it’s a bank holiday Monday and sounded busy when I called. Delivery driver was very apologetic for the delay - food was hot and as good quality. Prawn crackers were missing even though we paid for them but I’m sure they were just forgotten about.

Spare ribs very dry, Chow Mien very disappointing, mainly noodles and bean sprouts. Will not be ordering again.

Ordered shredded salt and pepper chicken, Singapore fried rice and curry sauce. All of the food was extremely tasty especially impressed with the curry sauce
