Paid for three good to go bags today absolutely disgraceful. It's supposed to be the end of the day items. The items were bagged up by lunchtime. The items we received were absolutely Shocking Rock hard doughnut and iced bun rock hard ham sandwich it should've gone in the bin the leftover stuff was clearly for the staff as it was put to one side and hadn't been put in the brown bags Avoid

Fantastic Staff, such friendly service. Food was amazing and an all round amazing atmosphere, definitely will be coming back!

Cooplands has never let me down, always loved it. However accidently went in 3 minutes over when people were picking up food parcels, with my SEN child. They said so rudely ‘we’re closed!’ after it had closed when I had been queuing repeatedly were shouting at people ‘erm close the door!’ . They hadn’t warned me when came in shop that it was closed. Even though all cakes were on display, card machine was still on and they were letting people in to pick up food parcels. It’s the fact my daughter (who is 8) did not understand and the way I was told was really awful. She ended up crying and got her a cake somewhere else. I just think if I had have been spoken to like a human, then I wouldn’t have put this 1* . Be nice. You don’t know what kind of day we have also had as customers.

Food not as tasty as Greggs next door. Yet under same ownership .

Canny shop, though they changed their sarnies from like buns to subs and I rather have the buns instead. Do a class xmas pudding truffle/log treat though!

Absolutely awful chicken and bacon bun. Way too much salt. No change in the till and staff that can’t work out what change to give so ended up paying way over the odds for an awful sandwich.

Very rude and aggressive member of staff shouted at me as I tried to make a card payment. Was shocked at her behaviour. Horrendous customer service. Won't go there again.

One member of staff Theresa was very rude in there 2 weeks ago, i go in there 5 days a week, iv started going elsewhere, another thing they stand outside having a cigarette before they open and they don't wash there hands when they go back in before handling food.

I've just noticed that Copelands are charging 50p for NOT having sauce, what a rip-off! Why would someone order items online and pay for something they don't want. My advice is go elsewhere as nobody else that I'm aware off charges you for something you don't want?!

Had breakfast from there today staff where wonderful food was great

Bacon and sausage buttie with brown sauce, cold tasteless. Only came here because the Gregg's que was out the door. Next time I'll wait there

Quite possibley the rudest service I have recieved anwwhere. Staff member seemed more interested in servicing the people behind me went next door to greggs.

Fast friendly service, Theresa went out of her way to give details of the jubilee food to pre order online and collect from your local branch. Excellent customer service Theresa, thanks for your help. (I hope I spelt your name right)

I popped into this bakery to get a bite to eat as I was trying to decide on a donut I motioned to the lady asking whether that particular donut contained custard...she didn't even acknowledge my question she just bagged it ...to which I said so does it and she said " yes" , this put me off quite a bit ...I then also bought an ham and cheese pastry ...it tasted like cardboard ... definitely won't be back .

Nice folk but found the egg mayonaise roll pretty tasteless and my tea was half milk! First time in Coopland

Popped in for the first time to the North shields branch today for breakfast sandwiches. The lady was brilliant as there was no vegetarian option but she made me a cheese and mushroo Wrap. Will definitely go back as both ladies were cheery and helpful.

Lovely friendly staff even at the end of their busy shift . Well done ladies . Also still a nice selection of cakes 2 x

Lovely place, staff are friendly and helpful. The pack of buns for £1 are lovely, we get them all the time instead of loafs now. My partner is a Gregg's addict but he says he likes the sausage rolls here more than Gregg's! He always buys the 4 for £1. And Cookie Monster's are life! ☺

Well, I was feeling peckish, so, I thought I would give it go, but wished I hadn't.. The pastry was like recycled cardboard without the egg wash and thick.. The filling? What filling? I had a steak bake £1:35, but obviousely without the steak.. How they can operate and stay in business is beyond belief.. They should be ashamed of what they are selling.. I won't be going back!
