Cooplands in Ryedale

I have always liked cooplands. However I have had some issues with food the last two times. I mentioned this in a polite way however rather than a simple apology about this the staff member was confrontational instead. I also noted from past comments about poor service on Sundays, I also noticed this. Feel this is very different to the excellent service and staffing in Pickering cooplands.

Women who served us wasn't very friendly we felt like she couldn't be bothered to serve us even tho we were the only two in the shop anyway don't have the hash browns mine was really soggy on the bottom and burnt bits on the top

All of the food felt like it was cooked yesterday. There weren't many options either.

Sausage rolls are not nice cookies are nice.

Was good spot for a bite to eat.

I found hair in one of my sausage roll do not get food for this place

Awful cheese pasty, soggy and raw pastry inside. Pizza slice was as hard as a brick, might as well just thrown my fiver in the bin. Still hungry!!

Steak bake was just full of mush and cold foods always cold

Staff need to mend their ways not helpful and a bit rude.

Pleasant patient staff and the family do love the food

Quite a good bakery they have a wide selection of goods and are quite cheap could do better with COVID however

For some reason they have stopped doing prawn sandwiches??!! Lord knows why. They do make a seafood one but its not a prawn one, guess I'll hav to go elsewhere.

Ended up here as we couldn’t find a cafe or a pub serving food/one we could sit outside with 2 scooters + 2 dogs. Nice sandwiches 👍
